2nd Gen Pokemon GSC: From Japanese to English

    Sometimes, when a game is translated to English, more than the language gets changed!

    With that thought in mind, I've set out to film both the English and Japanese versions of GSC (with some help from some friends) so you can see the differences between the two:

    Here's what I've discovered so far:

    1. Starting the Game.

    Notes:

    --I have included the title screen with my version (the English version) For some reason, my Japanese version flimographer forgot to film the Japanese version, so no title screen comparison yet
    --the Marill sprite looks happier and sounds different in the Japanese version
     
    the second video doesn't show the intro

    ..And there is no DST in the Japanese versions of Pokemon GSC....

    And why do you say that? If you hate Pokemon, just don't bother coming here. There's no use telling us if you hate Pokemon or not, cause we just don't care. Please go away silently and stop spamming around in the thread. And make sure you don't spam around in other threads as well. Sayonara. Vamoose. Tata. Goodbye.
     
    I'm sorry if the discoveries are slow going...I have to coordinate filming with my team of filmmakers that are filming Japanese versions, and we're running a tad behind.

    Just be patient, more discoveries will come shortly.
