It's good to know that word is spreading around quickly, and I'm glad you and your friend like the recent changes. There will be a lot more goodies in later releases. We trashed the whole generational Pokédex concept (as you can see by the new national dex numbers), so you can catch a lot of Pokémon you wouldn't normally be able to catch in Kanto.

No, this is something that will not be implemented until later releases. The fact that we need a server is holding us back, and there are a lot more programming quirks we need to deal with.
 
I ran into a bug, I lost against Brocks Lackey and now I can't go into Brocks gym or the Museum should I clear the error log or what?

Maybe there's something wrong with your RGSS102E.dll file. I advise you to get a new copy of RGSS102E.dll from the link below and see if it works:

I dl'd the new RGSS102E.dll file and replaced the previous ( Possibly ) bugged one however no difference was noticeable. I had died against the trainer in Brocks gym once and I did go into the Museum once ( I didn't pay for a ticket so I just left ) could either of the two lead to a glitch in the game and cause the RGSS Player to fail?
 
About the undead idea.

I think that not being able to use healing items on a pokemon is a bad way to balance pokemon. I've played alot of Pokemon, and I hardly ever have to use healing items on my pokemon. So, by taking it away, I wouldn't be that hurt by not having to use healing items. Plus, I could easily fly to a PKmon center anyway. (Not to mention that items are rarely used in PKmon duels between players)

You could try having a special place or pokemon center you have to visit to heal them. (Although it would suck whenever you'd have to heal them. Really suck.) You could also make an island, and have them limited to the island. (That way they wouldn't ruin the balance of the game, they'd be stronger and you could have alot of fun of them in the area. It'd also be kinda cool if there was a special, one of a kind pendant that you could equip an undead pokemon with, and it could leave the island.)

Yeah, taking up the item slot with an item would balance them. Also, you could only have one undead pokemon off the island. (So people don't around with entire parties of undead), plus they'd still bel good. My older brother had a good point, also. Ghost pokemon are a really strong type, but aren't used much. Plus, whenever they are used, they are usually mixed with poison. (And there aren't any good poison moves I can think of)

Well of course there's gonna be a way to heal undead pokemon by items, but it will not be the same with ordinary pokemon(potion or revive). I have postponed the undead pokemon idea since it requires lots of scripting and I will get it done when I have more time to kill in this summer or next winter.

BTW, we welcome Bojjenclon to the writer's team!
 
i found another glitch: in Celado city, in the playing corner where the team rocket grunt stands in front of the poster, i talked him from the right side, and after i beat him the game freezed..:(, i know i should have talked to him from blow but just make sure ppl can talk to special NPC's from any side ;)
 
Jonny, some great looking maps like always ;)

But could you make it so we can zoom in a bit more and see it in more detail, little hard to spot stuff when zoomed out like this :(

Yeah, definitely you can. But it seems that you will have to install a few add-ons:

There's DarWine, Alky and CrossOver which if you install Direct-X will allow you to run RPG Maker just like how a Linux machine would do it (You can play the RMXP games on Linux by simply getting DirectX in the right place, sound and everything).
Virtual PC is horrible, Parralels is okay-ish, BootCamp is the 2nd best, number one is CrossOver, it runs PC games faster than if you just boot into PC on your Mac.

(You can play half life 2 and crysis on a Mac with CrossOver!)

If you can run Ruby and RPG Maker XP/VX, then you should have no problem.
 
hey, i got a serious problem here.
after i decompress the file into "Pokémon Hall of Fame.exe", i double click on the exe file to extract it, but it says "extract failed"
help o~ [i tried right click,failed]
 
Thanks this game is really awesome I love it i've only just started tho but oh well xD

Hall of fame version its really fun to play I love it I ony just started but oh well xD
