    ~~Pokemon~~
    ~~Heroic Destinies~~

    Introduction
In the beautiful, idyllic land of Fereldas, like the rest of the Pokemon world, People and Pokemon live together in peace and harmony. However, years of Political unrest have left Fereldas in an archaic state. The only trace of modernization and connection to the outside world are the Pokeballs; Other than that, Fereldas, Largest continent in the Pokemon World, is divided into many factions and castes, some roaming, some in cities, some underground, but so few of them are united, and they are archaic; In the age of sword and shield, no cars, helicopters, or Pokemon centers.

    Plot:
In recent years, Fereldas has had many internal conflicts, with many of the factions warring against each other, the largest city, and the capital, of Fereldas, Mantarlide, has been attacked by the barbarian peoples of the Hammerhold Mountains, and several villages in the countryside have attacked and killed many of the noble roaming Arlish tribes. The Grand Knights keep the users of Psychic Pokemon locked in towers throughout Fereldas, for reasons both Noble and evil. The Arceatri, the equivalent of the Church in Fereldas, are gaining influence and power, and have recently formed a more militaristic branch, known as the Arcean-Warriors, who are fierce, but supposedly noble, warriors who serve the will of Arceus. Many great cities have been built underground, and are now sealed up by the fearsome Hellreavers. No contact has been had with any of the great subterranean cities for a century now.

However, in the Dark Places, a dark and fearsome cloud is gathering...
Once forgotten, a black diamond with the power of evil was taken into the Dark Places and left for three thousand years. However, as fate would have it, a Salamence was affected by the dark taint which the diamond emanated, and turned into a fearsome creature... The Helldemon. With the power of the diamond, The Helldemon transformed the surrounding land and all of the Pokemon in it into monstrous, horrific beings, named Hellreavers, bent on the destruction of all humanity in Fereldas, and conversion of all Pokemon into Hellreavers. But for the time being, no-one realizes the danger they are in.

You were born amidst one of the clans or castes, and it is the only life you have ever known... But, when tragedy befalls you, your family, your clan or friends, and the only aid you get is from the mysterious Phoenix Wardens, you are forced join them with a noble companion, a Pokemon who you have known since birth, and together, you must undergo a terrible and horrific trial to joint hem in defeating the threat of the Hellreavers. But few survive this horrific trial; many die as they under go it.

The trial is the drinking of Hellreaver blood; Which allows you an intimate understanding of their nature and allows you to sense when they are nearby. How this happens is only known by the highest echelons of the Phoenix Wardens, but it can kill those who are too weak or are not "Chosen" In a horrific manner; It transforms them into a Hellreaver, bent on killing everything near it. But you have no other choice; This is your only chance at safety and protection. take it... Or die.

    The Factions
Although you have just about free reign with your character, you must choose one of these factions and stick to the rough guidelines of it.

    The Noble Family
    Spoiler:

    The Arcean-Warriors

    Spoiler:

    The Arlish Wanderer
    Spoiler:

    Hammerhold Barbarian
    Spoiler:

    The Grand Knights

    Spoiler:

    The Psychic users
    Spoiler:

    Subterranean Dweller
    Spoiler:

You must choose one of these factions and include it in your SU, which is as follows:

Name: (The full name of your character.)
Age: (You can be at least 13 in all factions other than the ones which state otherwise.)
    Gender: (Duh.)
Faction: (Which faction do you belong to?)
Personality: (Make it fit your Faction. A Hammerhold Barbarian is hardly going to be elegant and sophisticated.)
History: (What is the history of your character? This is before the incident which has befallen you. Remember, it must fit the faction description.)
Pokemon: (Any first stage Pokemon which is not restricted for your Faction.)
    Pokemon Gender: (Duh.)
Pokemon Personality: (How does your Pokemon act?)

I'm putting no restrictions on minimum or maximum length for anything, but longer histories and Personalities will probably get accepted over Smaller ones. But remember, it's quality over quantity.

In your first post, you must first be a few days or maybe hours before the tragic incident befalls you, and then go on to describe how you get over the incident. Remember, you must include the Phoenix Wardens in the first Post, and how they help and find you.

My only question is whether or not we get to have more Pokemon then our starter? If so then my starter may change. If not, then my SU should be just fine.

    Name: Flora Dawn Artemis
    Age: 18
    Gender: Female
    Faction: The Grand Knights
Personality: Flora is a very quiet girl who rarely ever speaks. The only time she does usually speak is when she feels she must say something. This helps her in her work, for she very rarely asks questions and just does what her superiors tell her to do. She also makes her more of a follower then an actual leader, but Flora likes it that way.

Flora is also very passive aggressive. If you wrong her in any way, she won't say or do anything right away. She'll just wait for a time when she can get back at you or the perfect time to do so. This makes her quiet cleaver, but in almost a sadistic way.

When Flora fights, she lets loose any energy she had been holding in and fights almost like a berserk. Her higher ups have helped her have control over this and she can usually control how she fights and how much anger she uses, but she can lose control once in a while. Though, despite all that has been mentioned, Flora is a romantic at heart. She just loves things like messages in a bottle and secret notes being pass to one lover and the other. Maybe that's what got her to fall for that man in the first place...
History: Flora was born to a family of Arlish Wanderers but, while searching for food and supplies, the Grand Knights found them and decided to take their food and supplies. They were also going to kill the family but Flora's father begged that they spare they're lives. The head Grand Knight agreed that they would if they gave them their baby; Flora herself. Her father agreed, only asking that they keep her name.

Flora herself is not aware of any of the above.

As soon was Flora was able to walk, she has been trained in fighting, both with weapons and with her bare hands, and how to protect her minds from the Psychic users. In all of these things she excelled, soon raising up to some of the top of the Grand Knight ranks. Her quietness and lack of questions also made her shine in her mentor's eyes. When she had grown strong enough to choose her starter, Flora seemed to forgo the Dragons she could receive in exchange for an Eevee.

It wasn't too much longer after she turned 15 that she first became aware of Eric. The boy was a Psychic User who seemed stronger then the others. He first came to Flora in a dream and they spoke for some time. When Flora woke up and realized that this Eric person was real, she nearly became obessed with him and wanted to learn more.

Luckily it wasn't that hard for them to have conversations. Once Eric knew Flora's mind, he could easily reach out for her and connect with her mind. Soon the two became close, which only grew with the passing weeks and months, though they have never actually met or talk together in person. Flora's dreams also became more vivid after a certain point in her life...

Overall, Flora seemed to be living a very nice and romantic live. It was a percious balance, but she believed that she could keep it together for as long as she wanted. She did not know how wrong she really was...
    Pokemon: Willow the Eevee
    Pokemon Gender: Female
Pokemon Personality: Willow is almost the exact opposite of Flora. She is happy, cheerful, and talkitive to other Pokemon and even humans. She is also very curious and looks to just wonder around looking for new things. However, she is also quite naive and can often get lost or confused while exploring. Often Flora has to help her or find her, much to her annoyance. But they both do get along and work well together. Willow is also in support of her trainer's relations ship with Eric.

If you don't mind, I would like to reserve a position under the Royal Family. My SU should be finished soon.

(Please tell me what I can fix if I don't get in! I really want to do this one as it seems so much like Dragon Age: Orgins (Which is a kick-ass game by the way))
    Name: Jason Nikolas Leander
    Age: 18
    Gender: Male
    Faction: Arlish Wanderer
Personality: Jason is a very relaxed person. Whatever happens, happens is his motto. Jolly and carefree Jason is a friend to everyone he meets. He is also very lazy. While his job is to usually gather fruits, he much rather prefers to just sit down under a shady oak and relax the day away, chewing on a piece of straw. However he will rise up to meet the occasion when the need demands it.

While the other wanderer's think Jason has no respect for nature, it's quite the opposite. Jason loves being out in the sun baked fields, running through crystal clear waters, and lying under cool patches of shade. He thinks he's most blessed person on the planet to be able to live in such a beautiful and bountiful land. However due to an incident when he was younger Bobby now has a deathly fear of bee's and deep water. He clams up and can't do a thing when faced with those as obstacles.

History: Jason was born on a snowy morning deep in the forest. The minute his eyes were open, he had a love of adventure. No matter where he would go, he always knew there was something more beyond where he was at that moment. He was always on scouting duty for his clan as he was too antsy to do sentry or anything else for that matter. However when he was 12 years old, he accidently knocked a Beedrill hive over. He ran to a deep pool to escape their stinging and dove deep. However the Beedrill weren't stupid. They waited patiently for Jason to come back up for air. They did this until night fall came when they left. As Jason dragged himself out of the water he realized he didn't know where he was. As he wandered through the wilderness, Jason came apon the great city, Mantarlide. He thought he would receive help there. He was wrong. Despised for being an Arlish Wanderer, Jason was beaten physically and mentally while within the city. When he finally escaped, he was half starved. By luck however he met up with his old clan. He was soon back on his feet and back to his old ways. However he had a deep hatred for those who came from the city from that day on.

    Pokémon: Ralts
    Pokémon Gender: Male
Pokémon Personality: Where Jason is adventure's and relaxed, Ralts is content to stay at home and a constant worrier. Ralts just can't understand why Jason would want to go out and explore the world when all the comforts at home are right at…well home! However because he is Jason's partner, Ralts is always by Jason's side which is a good thing since he's gotten Jason out of many a scrape. When Jason got lost Ralts couldn't eat or sleep for days over his worry for Bobby and when he finally showed up, Ralts felt a burning hatred for those that did this to his partner.

    Anyway, to answer your questions;

Charzeon, You can capture more Pokemon later on in the RP. If you do will be determined in the quality of your posts, whether or not you can catch restricted ones... We'll see. And before I forget, you are accepted.

Strikit, when you say Royal Family, I assume you mean a Noble family, or the Subterranean dwellers. You can reserve a place if you wish.

Luigi-a, yes, there can be more than one Grand Knight, or more of anything. Whther you are with another Grand Knight or not, I will leave it to you to discuss it with them.

Zimvee, Yes, it is a fantastic game, and revising it, I can see why you think that. I suppose I was unconciously influenced by it. Oh well, You are accepted, although I positively hate your character's name...

    Now for my SU...

    Name: Adam Benedici Locke
    Age: 21

    Gender: Male

    Faction: Arcean-Warrior

    Personality:
Adam... The world's most unfathomable person, he has been picked at by Fereldas' best socialites, but none have been able to unravel his mysteries. All he says is that he is devoted to the lord Arceus, and will serve him to any end. True, there are many who claim this, but Adam is intent in his devotions and valorous in his battles. He is the true embodiment of what the Arceatri want of an Arcean-Warrior; Strong-willed, devout, and saintly... Or so it seems.

While it does seem to someone who has just met him, Adam is a saint reborn; Polite, eloquent, generous and kind. However, if you get to know him better, to a stage where he would trust you with his life (As of yet, only one person has achieved this) You would find he was a heartbroken, sad young man who's faith in Arceus is the only thing keeping him from death in this world, who's heart has been torn and wounded, and a devoted, loyal friend for those who need one. Although he believes that he will never love again, If he did, he would be faithful, devoted, and eternally bound to the woman of his dreams.

As mentioned, to strangers, Adam is polite and charitable. As is common for those of his order, he is always willing to help others in need, and will risk everything for the safety of people and Pokemon. They will also go to insane lengths to defend their faith, and nothing you could say would shake Adam's faith. That said, while Adam is more devout than his brethren, he is also more aggressive, and willing to fight for the proof of the existence of the divine, and may misinterpret other people's words. He is incredibly intolerant of all other beliefs, and will fight with a dragon-like fervor to quench them.

    History:
Adam was raised the son of a noble, and thought his life was perfect. When he was taken to the nearest temple to Arceus for his induction to the religion of the Arceatri at the age of 3, the priest was quick to point out the bond of the boy's mind and the unknown which lies beyond this world. Although he was very much against the priests wishes, Adam's father took him back to their estate, and he grew up knowing nothing of the priest's comment, until he joined the order of the Arceatri at the age of fifteen.

Even at the relatively young age of ten, Adam was a devout believer. To his parents' dismay, he couldn't be stopped from going to the Temple regularly, and he often came home singing the praise of the lord Arceus and all of his wondrous creations, that is, humanity and Pokemon. But there were other intentions for going to the temple at the tender age of fifteen...

When he was fifteen, Adam met a priestess of Arceus, around about the same age as him. He quickly fell in love, and she to him, too. But they both knew of the vows priests and priestesses had to take; "The followers of Arceus shall have no love, for they are committed to the lord Arceus and none other." However, the Arceatri willingly allowed priests to love and even marry priestesses, which is why and how Adam joined the Arceatri, against his fathers wishes and deaf to his mother's pleas. This lead to their suicide; their only son, becoming a priest!? They were known throughout the land as strong disbelievers, so this was an incident of great trouble for them. They were taunted at court so badly, they ended their lives together. Adam blamed himself, and had it not been for Lilian, his love, he would have killed himself too.

He joined the Arcean-Warriors and Lilian joined him, and as was customary for an Arcean-Warrior was given his Pokemon; A Riolu, who he adores, and has bonded with immensely, and the two were inseperable for all of their lives; they were just about joined at the hip. At the age of eighteen, there was a scandal involving... intimate matters between the pair, but they were able to make it blow over without too much friction. In Adam's work, he says he finds solace, peace and servitude with the lord Arceus. He has had a reasonably sad life, always regretting his parents death, but staying faithful to Arceus and Lilian. And now they are guarding a Cathedral from attacks... The story begins.

    Pokemon:
    Armon the Riolu

    Pokemon Gender:
    Male

    Pokemon Personality:
Armon is somewhat similiar to his master, but he lives his life perfecting the ways of honor and valor, as well as skill and prowess, rather than a one of devotion and faith. No matter what happens, Adam can rely on Armon to always do his best is a fight, and Armon can trust Adam to guard him in the darkest of times.

What, no appearance section? That's a new one...

    Name: Cassandra Raveth Haleson

    Age: 15

    Gender: Female

    Faction: Psychic User

Personality: Cassandra is a kind and understanding person who empathizes very easily, almost to the point at which it seems she is almost reading your emotions. At times Cassandra can be distant, staring off into space or simply standing about deep in thought. Although she enjoys most of the time she spends with others, Cassandra prefers to be alone or with her pokemon friend. Her greatest skill in personality is that Cassandra is very good at reassuring people and making them feel more relaxed and happier, and this is part of what causes many people to find her friendly and wonderful. Deep down Cassandra is loyal and protective, she will fight hard to keep her friends safe, and when this side of her personality is activated, Cassandra can be ferocious, exceedingly determined, and if the stakes are high enough, merciless.

History: A small village in a beautiful forested area was where Cassandra was born, supposedly to a strong-willed father and a shy, kind mother. Unfortunatly, Cassandra only knew her parents for a few months. She was taken away by some of the Grand Knights; they claimed that Cassandra had the makings of a person who could connect with a psychic-type pokemon, and because of this she was taken away to a tower where she was locked up and raised with others who were also thought to be this way. Nothing interesting much happened there, but one day while sitting off away from the group Cassandra found an odd-looking rock with strange grooves in it that formed a curious pattern.

Cassandra kept her mystery rock for a week or two before it revealed it's secrets to her. On one fateful day, a pokemon seemed to emerge from the stone, an odd creature with the shape of a razor and colored with bands of purple and green. This pokemon was bound to the stone, locked to it in a way Cassandra had never seen, but she had heard of a pokemon such as this. Although she could not remember where or when she had first learned of the pokemon, Cassandra recognized that the creature fit the description of spiritomb- a rare pokemon said to be the fusion of one hundred and eight spirits bound forever to the odd keystone. And spiritomb was supposed to be powerful too- it was a ghost-dark type, and because of this the pokemon could not be 'super-effected' by any type- it was seemingly invincable. Cassandra and spiritomb connected, and with time grew so close that they were nearly inseperable.
    ____________________________________

    Pokemon: Spiritomb (Shadris)

    Pokemon Gender: Male

Pokemon Personality: Spiritomb, or Shadris as he is called by Cassandra, is mischivious and cunning. He 'jumps' out of the odd keystone at times when people least expect, and emits laughter-like cries when he sees them recoil in surprise and fear. To Cassandra, Shadris acts friendly, but only when he is not being a smart-alec (or as much of one as he can be since Shadris is after all, a pokemon). Cassandra may seem indifferent to the thought of attacking the Grand Knights, but Shadris is ready and waiting for the command to dark-pulse them into oblivion, something he has been craving ever since he emerged from the odd keystone and bonded with Cassandra. In this, and many other things as well, he is immovable and it seems that when Shadris sets his mind to something, he will not and cannot give up.

Hmm, maybe it's just me, but this seems a tiny bit short. If you need any sections bumped up, feel free to ask, I am not easily offended.

I know you use it in most RPs you take part in, so you don't have to change it. It just seems Bobby isn't exactly a heroic name...

"Sir, we're losing forces quickly. What can we do?"
"Don't worry, Bobby Baker is here!"

    Name: Jude di Angelo
    Age: 17
    Gender: Male
    Faction: Arlish Wander

Personality: Jude di Angelo is a free-thinker. Born as an Arlish Wander, he loves nature and is willing to do anything in his power to protect it from harm. He believes non-Arlish to be naive, conformist people, with the exception of the Psychics, whom he respects for their unique powers. Jude loves to pull pranks and cause mischeif, but is capable of being serious and reliable when necessary. He is a leader and enjoys having control, but isn't unwilling to let someone else tell him what to do.

History: Born as an Arlish Wander, Jude di Angelo grew as a farm-boy. He would dutifully do his work and would help his ailing mother take care of his six other siblings. When not working or taking care of his brothers and sisters, Jude would roam the forests which he called home and swim in the rivers and streams. Never one to particularly find women of much interest, Jude would choose to spend his lazy afternoons climbing trees or making powder bombs from Apricorns and pollen to wooing the Arlish girls.

By the time he was 15, Jude took interest in archery. He would wittle arrows and make bows from branches of his favorite tree which he climbed as a child. He would spend hours shooting arrows, gradually becoming his clan's best shot. Alongside archery, Jude took the powder bombs he made as a child and began tinkering with them to make them useful. He would stuff them with Poison Powders, Sleep Powders, and Stun Spores he would gather from sleeping Vileplume in the forest. He introduced these powder bombs to his clan elder who found them useful to capture Pokemon and also defend the village against raiders.

It was when his village was attacked, and his mother and siblings killed that Jude took his archery and bomb-making skills and put them to good use. He decided to avenge his clan, and that's exactly what he plans on doing.

    Pokemon: Eve, Eevee
    Pokemon Gender: Female
Pokemon Personality: Eve is Jude's concious, in a sense. She is always calm and knows exactly what to do to Jude to make him see the error of his ways. Eve and Jude work like brother and sister in arms. She knows what to do simply by looking at Jude's facial expression. Eve dreams of evolving into the clairvoyent Espeon, or the mysterious Umbreon, but she knows Jude's wish is for her to become a Leafeon.

This looks like a great RP, and my SU is pretty much finished- but not yet, because I want to know if the Arcean Warriors are like an eastern religious group or a western one.

That is to say, are they like crusaders? Or Shaolin monk type people?

Notch-Eared Pichu, you are accepted, I love the SU.

Windchaser54321, They are similar to Crusaders, but there are a few who practice spiritual harmony.

And finally, but definitely the best part, Merry Christmas!

Ah, I think I'll put up a reserve for this. Seeing as a few RPs are dead and some are full as well...

And it looks quite interesting. I have never seen an RP so blatantly filled with romantic content at the start, seriously.

Just a question. Exactly how sophisticated is the underground city? A whole CITY underground is pretty, uh, civilized. I would assume that it had libraries (well, Alexandria had a library, so why not here?)

Unfinished signup will be posted here in spoiler tags. Read at your own risk.

I hope this proves to be at least have potential to be accepted. Any recommendations for editing would be appreciated. Hopefully, I wont have to toss everything out upon rejection. I still feel the need for an appearance section, I may add one later anyway haha.

    Name: Christian Germain Drummond
    Age: 19
    Gender: Male
    Faction: A Noble Family
Personality: Christian is what his father would say is a "good Drummond" with his most defining characteristics being his strong moral code, staunch bravery and his stubborn mind. Christian firmly believes in doing the right thing, regardless of the laws of the land as he sees laws as "foolish rules that prevent the good people of this world from doing the right thing when they need to". His desire to the good right thing has made him a benevolent soul, often helping charities and getting involved in the process of law enforcement in his home. With a long history of involvement, Christian has built up a reputation of being brave yet foolish in the same sentence, often accepting daunting quests and usually seeing them to the end. His diehard determination and refusal to accept "no" as an answer have made him stubborn and hard-headed. In general, Christian wants things done his way and anyway who doesn't agree with him is incorrect, unless it is an individual he believes has a better knowledge of the situation. Only then will Christian willingly step down, though this occurs after Christian has made his opinion known.

Christian has a reputation of being arrogant as well, fully believing himself to be more capable of those around him. Often overshadowed by his elder brother, Christian has worked hard to gain respect in his city. While he has generally earned this respect, the constant work he put into it makes him believe he is superior, as those achievements were not an easy task to overcome. This arrogance carries over to all things he does making Christian that his opinions carry more weight, his morals are automatically better, his bravery is greater, and so on. His stubborn mind and soul do not aide this confidence on any level, and it takes much effort to make Christian believe he is wrong on any level. His arrogance makes him very vocal and opinionated, as well as headstrong and somewhat reckless. Despite these tendencies, Christian knows the value of planning and patience, and frequently practices these qualities in times that call for it.

That being said, one can appeal to Christian's good nature with great ease, as his moral code is greater than those of more moral factions. Christian is generally open minded and accepting of others, willingly to hear all sides of a story unless it is obvious who is wrong and who is right. He is a competent leader, due to his solid intelligence, wisdom and cunning and he has a trustworthy soul, hence his family's decision to leave him in control of the castle for short periods of time. However, Christian can be brash, leading to less educated responses to problems.

In summary, Christian can be a zealot, highly valuing his strong morals that can lead him into dangerous situations. However, with others giving him a second opinion and attempting to control him, Christian can be lead down a more reasonable path.

History: Christian Germain Drummond was born to the Drummond royal family, lead by Germain Drummond, his wife Kaya and the first son Michael Drummond. In his early years, Christian followed the same practices as his elder brother of nearly 10 years. He was well educated, well trained in the arts of war, and well socialized. Unlike his brother, however, Christian was commented to have advanced slower in general. He was so overshadowed by his well respected brother. He was always second place in competitions. He was rumored to be less of a romantic by his brother according to the women of the town. This influenced Christian to work harder and become a better man than his brother. He took his studies more seriously and trained harder in combat sessions. Christian's newfound intensity was recognized and at times, he earned small compliments from his tutors and family members. These were small and something many children receive on a daily basis. However, they strongly built a sense of pride in the boy and made him work even harder.

Christian became more strongly involved in the local affairs, starting at the age of 15. He aided many of the charities after becoming more involved in the religious practices (which built the foundation of his moral code). He eventually discarded religion as something only the truly insane could accept and built upon the doctrine into a new code of life that was far more realistic and believable. He became sympathetic to local merchants and to the people themselves, something unheard of for many as nobles were notorious for not caring. Christian helped in the day to day affairs of the town guard and militia and realized the flaws of the system, which further fueled a driving ambition of Christian's: to change the world for the better. To make himself heard and known as a great hero of the land.

At 18, Christian became more involved in the political atmosphere of the family in an attempt to make himself known. Tapping on his life experience, his informed his father of the various problems and as a result, lead to small improvements and produced a better sense of prosperity. Realizing his son's growth, Germain permitted Christian to have a voice in local matters and asked for assistance in the political manners of the castle after realizing that Michael, the eldest was more of a fighter than than a politician. Roughly a year later, Germain officially left Christian in charge of the castle as the war demands the attention of both his father and his brother. Now Christian sees an opportunity to prove himself to the world.

    Pokemon: Growlithe, nicknamed Fang
    Gender: Male
Personality: Loyal, humble and affectionate are his strongest and most apparent qualities. Still young, Fang has proven to be a handful in his upbringing, however he is intelligent, reliable and well-trained. Christian fully trusts Fang with his life and believes that together than can stop anyone that stands in their way, both figuratively and literally. As long as Fang can control his bladder long enough not to mark every damn tree that looks like a landmark.

    Name: Ophelia 'Artemis' d'Aphine
    Age: 17
    Gender: Femme
    Faction: The Grand Knights

Personality: Ophelia is girly despite the harsh training that she had received since she was little. She knows discipline and order, for both have been drilled into her through the years, but she had been able to keep her individualism. When off-duty Ophelia would proceed to act like any young woman, she would wear girly dresses and would simply be a girl like any other. But on-duty she would be serious and she would do the job she was carried out to do. Most of the time Ophelia was on guard duty, she rarely got to do anything else, but she didn't mind guarding the Tower and keep the tainted Psychics out.

Ophelia doesn't like Psychics, and that's how it is. She blames them for being drafted into the Knights because, frankly, she would have had anything but this life. She hated the violence that she had been trained to do, and she didn't like the way people looked at her sometimes when she walked down the street in her Knight's clothing, the distrusting looks. She didn't like walking people fleeing from her when they could. She just wanted to be normal, but that was impossible. Ophelia's thought process is that if the Psychics wouldn't exist, then they wouldn't have to be guarded and therefore there wouldn't be any Grand Knights necessary. Simple and clear.

A part of Ophelia's personality does make her a bit gullible. Her mind is easily changed and it isn't hard to manipulate her. She has quite a weak mind and is actually an easy prey for any hostile Psychic that comes near enough to taint her mind, but she has kept the fact hidden for a long time. If the Knights would have found out they would cast her out, no use for a Knight that is easy bait for hostiles. Another point for why Ophelia hates them. But she made sure that no one got close enough to find out her weakness. Until a certain guy came along.

History: Ophelia was taken from the house of an ordinary miller whose wife had died during childbirth. The miller couldn't pay for Ophelia because of the costs of the funeral and his overall poverty. Of course, the miller subconsciously blamed Ophelia for the death of his wife, though he would never allow those thoughts to get into his mind. He basically 'sold' her to the Knights who gave him monthly food rations for a year in return. She had no name when she came to the Faction, and they named her Ophelia, from the Knight in question's favourite play, Hamlet.

At first Ophelia showed to be quite a failure. She wasn't good in hand-to-hand work, her sword-work was mediocre and she was too clumsy for their like. Also her physical strength wasn't very good and she showed near to no motivation to be there. They were about to write little Ophelia off when she discovered her wonder, the bow. It was just a simple crossbow, loaded already and someone had put it down for a second to help out somewhere else. The girl picked it up, aimed and fired at a wooden doll that was for practice. She managed to hit the doll, which was quite something for a little girl with no experience. Natural talent, that's what it was. It earned her the nickname 'Artemis,' under her fellow guards as well as some of the Psychics.

She wasn't quite strong enough to load the bow, and had just enough strength to pull the trigger, but whenever Ophelia held a bow, any bow, she came alive, and a light shone in her eyes. She was motivated. They drilled her on any kind of bow, from a short bow to a straight bow to a crossbow. Over the years Ophelia trained with the weapon more than anything, perfecting her use and upping her motivation. She still didn't like to be there, but with a bow in her hand she would light up.

Ophelia was constantly put on guard duty just because she could shoot something from close or far away with ease. She was often placed to patrol or guard particular doors or windows that were high up, so she could easily shoot below, or if someone would try and get past her. It was there where she was unfortunate enough to encounter a specific Psychic.
This Psychic user, Adonis, found her weakness, that she was so susceptible to that which he was locked up for. Adonis planned on using her in the rebellion, but something stopped him from doing it. He and Ophelia started 'talking' through the door she always guarded. She remained rather hostile to him, but for some reason he warmed up to her. And that is at the point where our story starts…

    Pokemon: Growlithe (Kalliope)
    Pokemon Gender: Female
Pokemon Personality: Kalliope was a very well-trained Growlithe when Ophelia received her. She was trained to listen to her own, stay by her side constantly and be invisible when needed, but Ophelia kind of messed her up like that. She gave Kalliope a name, first of all, and taught her to be her own creature, and not a trained one whose only objective in life is to serve her master. Kalliope grew into quite the headstrong Growlithe. She still did everything that Ophelia told her to do, and stayed by her side always, but for loyalty and not training. Most of all, besides a good Pokémon, Kalliope also loves to be pampered. The be scratched at just the right spot or lay in front of a fire.
