Pokemon: Hidden Intentions [Sign Ups/OOC]

Hello there, BurningSoul20X/GF202020 here, just gonna port one of my RPs over here, since at the place where this started it's still alive...but so dang slow I wanted to see if I can get a faster RP here...and I'll mix it up as well. XD

Story (Intro for overall story and story for Chapter 1, which takes place in Goldenrod City):

Overall Intro:

It has been 10 years since the events of Gold and Silver. (We are going by the merit that Ho-oh and Lugia were optional like in the original, i.e. they're still wild pokemon in this.)

Just now, a new pokemon terrorist group has immersed. They work in the shadows, and not alot of people know alot about them, not even the police. The only thing for certain that's known about this group, is that they referred to thier organization as Team Ultima, and the higher ups in the organization use very rare and powerful pokemon. Also unlike other terrorist groups before it, they have no problem using thier pokemon to attack not only their foe's pokemon, but the trainer themsleves as well. In fact, some of the higer-ups in the team prefer to aim for the trainer from the start.

A bit after Team Ultima was immersed, a new corporation emerged in Saffron City, known as Starr Corporation. It was founded by a man known as Victor Starr. Soon after it's establishment, Starr Corporation grew like wildfire, making advances in pokemon items, pokemon research, and pokeball techinology much faster then thier competiton, Sliph Co. Just last year, Starr Corporation managed to drive Sliph Co. into extinction. Starr Corporation only used it's money to help sponsor things such as the Goldenrod City Expansion Project, joint-ownership of the Goldenrod Global Trainer Station, and even the Kanto-Jotho Pokemon League itself.

Chapter 1 intro story:

Lately however, there has been claims that some pokemon placed up for trading in the Goldenrod Global Trainer Station have gone missing, but all the police investigations on the matter failed to turn up anything, either due to lack of permission to investigate further into the Station due to Starr Corporation's influence, or because the police themsleves mysteriously vanished while looking into the case, or were paid off by Starr Corporation to cease the investigation.

All while it seems Starr Corporation is slowly trying to get all of the major industries on it's side, Team Ultima is still very active and strong in the shadows...it seems like it's just waiting to make it's move, but what is it's purpose? Some rumors going around claim the team is trying to capture the legendary birds in order to weaponize them to make a unbeatable army, some claim that the team is trying to cause a war between Johto and Kanto in order to try and rise up admist the chaos...and some even claim the team is just trying to unite all the evil in the world...Will the true intentions of both imposing forces be revealed in time?

Rules:

- Standard rules, no godmodding and the like
- You can be either good or bad if you'd like, or even one of the higher-ups of Team Ultima (Like have a Commander class or something), but all of the Admins will be played by me.
- You can also be someone other then a trainer, like a Ranger or Scientist or whatnot.
- Try and keep OOC and stuff in the OOC thread.
- Maximun number of characters allowed per user is 6...but I'm allowed to go over for story reasons. =P

For an example, here are the first character I'll unviel, along with two fill-ins for story purposes. =P Also, the story is taken place in Kanto-Johto. You can have a character that's from Hoenn or another place and have pokemon from that region, but make it so that they enter the Kanto-Johto region for the story.

(In my case, I'll be revealing new characters for me as we go through the Chapters, and most of them at the start of each chapter. Just because they are labeled as 'Chapter 1 Characters' doesn't mean they are limited to Chapter 1, that's just when I'm formally introducing them for all of you. =P

Also, only I'm allowed to label someone's pokemon as 'unknown', since it's for story purposes...you'll see why soon enough.)

Appearance: A tall white man at 6 feet, 2 inches. He normally wears a blue jacket with white bordering over a plain black shirt with blue jeans. He has gentle blue eyes to match and has dirty brown hair. He also has a mini star-like birthmark on his right hand.
Personality: Chris has a strong sense of justice and will do what it takes in order for justice to be upheld. He also will help anyone in need that he sees. Chris is also strong psychically, he knows several matrial art moves for self defense.
History: Chris isn't like most pokemon trainers. Instead of just blindly going off into the world at the age of 10, he attended Goldenrod University, where he did a 6-year education to earn his bachelor's degree AND to learn about how the world works. He started his pokemon journey at the age of 16, 4 years before the appearance of Team Ultima. However, he got his starter pokemon before then. It was when he was taking stroll through Route 35 during his final year in university when he found a near death Shiny Charmander. He nursed it back to health and got close to it. So it was that Charmander became his starter. He then traveled Johto to become a trainer and to assemble his team. He is currently living in Goldenrod, a bit uneasy about the Starr Coporation influence that's heavy over Goldenrod, and fearing for his Charizard's (his Charmander became a Charizard through experience during the travels through Johto) safety, seeing as it's a shiny one, and how it seems rare pokemon like that are being stolen nowaday. He doesn't trust Starr Corporation and plans on trying to find the truth behind the matter one of these days...

Appearance: Jack is a tall white man at 6 feet, he has bright blonde hair with green eyes. His normal street clothes is normally just an average pokemon league shirt you can buy at the pokemon league gatherings and a pair of either jeans that are shorts, or jeans that are pants depending on the weather.

Personality: At first he's very nice and ongoing to everyone he meets, but when he's all business for the Team, his nice and kind facade changes into a very dark and menacing persona that's not afraid to get himself dirty with the really dirty jobs or to do what it takes to advance the goals of Team Ultima. Due to this, it's unknown which side is the true Jack..the Kind Trainer, or the Menacing Monster...

History: Not much is known about Jack, but he started his pokemon journey in Hoenn. He was always in love with Mawile, seeing as it perfectly matched his personality. He spent days upon days in Victory Road, trying to catch a shiny Mawile. He never gave up, and even unleashed his menacing persona, violently beating down all the pokemon he encountered in Victory Road with no problem while searching for the shiny Mawile. After a month in Victory Road, he found the Shiny Mawile. Maybe by fate, the Mawile was also bullying the other pokemon in Victory Road, somewhat calling out to Jack. Once he cleared the Hoenn Pokemon League, he came over to Johto where his tenancy and personality did not go unnoticed by Leader Nova. Nova itself came before Jack in a Team Ultima Cloak and offered Jack the position of Commander to start out. Jack accepted and quickly rose to Admin due to his outstanding work. After a year of being one of the Admins, Jack is now heading toward Goldenrod City, where Team Ultima already bought him a house down there, to try and expand operations in Goldenrod so that that area of Johto would also have Ultima agents planted among other things planned for the area...

Bio: Not much is known about Johnson's past, but alot is known about his work for Team Ultima. He's known as "The Ultima Napper" and is the go-to guy for kidnapping. He is also rumored to be the Commander with the best shot of getting the much coveted promotion to Admin.

Appearance: Steve has no facial hair, and his eyes are green near the center of the iris and brown going out from the iris, and has short black hair always in an unkempt state. He sticks to loose fitting jeans and t-shirts, and he refuses to wear glasses or hats. He is not particularly muscular looking but he is still able to hold his own in a fist-fight and is very fast.
Personality: Steve is smart, he knows a little of everything but is particularly knowledgable with engineering,electronics, and explotation. While not evil, he is completely willing to blackmail and exploit every detail to his greatest advantage while leaving others to rot in a hole. He has kindness only for his sister and his pokemon, if ever someone tried, and succeeded, in harming them he would not hesitate to kill them in the most painful ways he could imagine.
History: Steve's parents have been dead as long as he can remember and he has been living with his older sister in Olivine city most of his life. When he was six he and his sister moved to Celadon city due to the offer of a better paying job for his sister. While they were in Celadon Steve read constantly and over a period of three years accrued a vast amount of information pertaining to electronics and engineering in general. Using this knowledge he exploited the casino and won enough coins to obtain an Eevee before he was found out and banned from the casino completely. He named the eevee Odessa and on his tenth birthday went back to Sinnoh and explored the region, capturing a sandshrew he named Ana, and having Odessa evolve into an Umbreon. During his travels in Sinnoh he learned the value of information, and how much they would pay for it never to be revealed. When he was fourteen he started challenging gyms with varying levels of success, during such time Ana evolved into a Sandslash. After beating five of the eight Sinnoh gyms he stopped gym battles and went back to Johto to stay with his sister for a small while. He has returned to the Sinnoh region and has been collecting sensitive information ever since.

History: Has been with Steve for for five years, has been in several gym battles, and has learned many secrets about persons of influence around the Sinnoh region as she has stayed with Steve.

Personality: Highly attentive, she can remeber things perfectly and see things others most likely would have missed. She has no objection to Steve blackmailing people since the secrets are mostly things that the person should be punished for anyways and she believes that Steve is dealing punishment in a different way.
History: Has been with Steve since he was nine and got her from the casino in Celadon city. She has been with Steve through the most memorable parts of his life and knows that those who stand in the way of his goals will suffer greatly.
Special markings: Yellow eyes instead of the normal red umbreon eyes.

Name: Zoé Hoban

Age: Nineteen

Gender: Female

Alignment: Neutral

Appearance: Zoé is tall and lean, about 5' 8". Weighing in at about 140, she is thin and lightly muscled. She has long legs, an ample chest, and toned arms. Her skin is lightly tanned, like she'd been dipped in tea. She has black hair past her shoulders, tied into a ponytail for convenience. Her eyes are heterochromatic (left eye blue, right eye green), so she wears (fake) glasses to distract from them.

She never cared for fashion, so she has several sets of the same outfit. She wears white running shoes in town, or black hiking boots if not in town, with grey socks. She wears black jeans and a grey t-shirt decorated with a purple pokéball logo on the stomach. She wears a red trilby hat with a white feather stuck in it. A gold charm hangs around her neck by a leather strap, and she carries a leather backpack for carrying things she finds on the ground.

Personality: Zoé knows what's happening. She always knows. It's her job. She lives off her wits, a hunter. She is always alert, always looking for the next... hey, what's that? Oooh, shiny! Someone dropped a coin! Where was I? ... Oh well. I'm sure I'll remember later...

A girl who acts tough and mysterious, she is actually a sweet and simple person. She is easily distracted and a bit forgetful, so she tries to get to the point quickly in conversations. She has a hard time taking things seriously, and can be very energetic and annoying at times.

History: Zoé grew up on a farm, learning from a young age to be self-sufficient. She did well for herself, but never got the hang of farming. The town doctor declared her mentally unstable, but her father intimidated the man into keeping it secret. Her father taught her to hunt and forage, and would send her out for a week at a time.

She found her Zubat as a baby in her barn. She thought the bright blue bat was the most adorable thing she had ever seen. She trained it to be loyal and to help her hunt, using it's supersonic cries to detect hidden animals.

When she was 18, her father had to sell the farm. She left to the city to find work, while he got a job as a security guard in Viridian. She lives in a small apartment in Saffron, doing favors and odd jobs to pay rent. She has a part-time job as a night janitor at the Mart.

Personality: Renfield treats Zoé as his mother and master, obeying her and wanting her to be happy. He appears dark and sinister, but is a loveable ditz who works hard and is always happy. He enjoys high-fives.

History: Renfield was born in Zoé's barn, and was raised from birth to find things. He aided her on her forest trips, and helps her out in her night job. He evolved into a Golbat shortly after arriving in the city, while helping Zoé clean the store. He evolved into Crobat immediately after, by eating a piece of candy he found in the store.

Appearance: [FONT=&quot]Jaeden is about 5'11", he is an average build, never really trying to improve his physique. He has short, wavy, brown hair and forest-green eyes. Jaeden is fairly tan from training in the Sun all day. He normally wears dark blue jeans, a white T-Shirt with a target on it, and a white and blue plaid button down shirt (unbuttoned with sleeves rolled up) over it. He wears blue converse.[/FONT] Legion's pokeball hangs on a necklace around Jaeden's neck.
Personality: [FONT=&quot]When you first meet Jaeden, you might think he is a very silent, broody person, but once he gets comfortable around the person he will talk a lot more and will be a lot more friendly. He has a temper, but if you did not cause his anger, he won't take it out on you. He is very intolerant of people who annoy him and will not hesitate to tell them so. He is very frank which most people pass off as meanness; however, that's just how his family raised him. He is fairly smart and uses logic in most situations as opposed to guessing or that "following your heart" nonsense. [/FONT] He is mostly a good person, but is not adverse to doing a bad thing for a good reason.
History: Jaeden was born in Slateport, Hoenn. His mom and dad worked at the museum and the Shipyard Lab, respectively. Jaeden started his pokemon journey at 16. He obtained his first pokemon, a beldum named Legion, hiking with his dad. He then asked his dad to catch it for him, but Jaeden's dad gave him his pokemon and insisted that he catch it himself. This worked out very well and he and Legion became inseparable. He then set out to participated in the Hoenn League. He made it all the way to the third Elite Four, but was defeated because of Legion's fear of fire (Legion had evolved into a metang).
Jaeden trained Legion's fear of fire out of him and evolved him into a metagross. He had caught a chinchou and a rhyhorn during the Hoenn League, but released them later.
He then set out for the Sinnoh League. He caught on the way, a gligar and snover, both at Mt. Coronet. It was here where he witnessed team Galactic's effort's to capture the Time Pokemon, Dialga, and Diamond's thwarting of their plans. He might have won the League, but his mother had a severe heart attack, and he had to return to Slateport to work to support his family. He worked for a few months, and then his mother had another heart attack, and she died. After a few more months, his dad told him that he should leave and participate in the Kanto-Johto League in the Northeast. Jaeden agreed and arrived at Olivine City three months ago. He has been participating in the League and has obtained four badges so far. However, he has recently heard of this Team Ultima being suspected in the recent Goldenrod Disappearances and has temporarily suspended his quest to obtain more information about Team Ultima, not wanting what almost happened to Sinnoh to happen in Johto.

Personality: Drake is very regal and must be treated with respect. He does not like being cuddled and will usually soak the person who attempts it.

I'm not talking about flying, I'm talking about levitating. Metagross uses a magnetic field to levitate itself.
