- OOC/Story and Sign Ups [still open!]

Please read the plot in the OOC plot before posting here. Also, whenever you post, try and start them with this:

[Character Name]/[Alignment]/[Place]

This is helpful for those who have more then one character. Now then, let's begin...

Victor Star/???/Starr Corporation HQ - Saffron City

"...Come in." Starr beckoned forth the man who was supposed to tell him the daily progress of the corporation.

"...Yes sir..." A white man anixously appeared in the CEO's room, "Today, the stock has gone up by 10 points, and..."

"...what about the Global Trainer Station?" Starr cut him off mid-sentence, uninterested in the other reports of the day.

"...well...yes...still no news about what's causing some of the pokemon for trade there to disappear, but the investigation is still underway...we're also continuing to bribe the police force to keep them slient about the issue."

"Good. We'll deal with this issue internally ourshleves...no need for the police to get invovled." Starr said, "We can't let this bad publicilty tarinish the name of Starr Corporation, it will hinder our goals....also, how is our building in Goldenrod doing?"

"Understood sir, we'll continue our investigation. I'll let you know if anything turns up." The man continued, "Our building in Goldenrod is almost complete, the first few floors are already operational and are already in use."

"Good. I'll go over today later to check it out myself, using the new enhanced Goldenrod-Saffron Transit that we sponsored." Starr said with a grin, "You are dismissed for now...let me know if anything new develops before I leave for Goldenrod."

"Understood, sir." The man bowed and walked out of the room.

"..hmm.." Starr turned his chair to face the window now, looking over all of Saffron City, "...I now basically have all of Kanto's industries on my side...I won't let police or likewise from preventing me to get all of Johto's industries as well...I will complete my goal..."

Jack Drake/Evil/Goldenrod City

"Hmm..well, this is the place." Jack said, his Shiny Mawile by his side, as they looked together at the house that the team has bought for him. "This is our new home for now." He turned to faced Mawile, "But it's not where the new base is being built...hmm..I was told some of the Commanders transferring to this area would come here to meet me for mission status...well, let's go and wait for them." Jack finished talking to his Mawile with a smile in which it smiled back, and the two entered the house...

Chris R. Kane/Good/Goldenrod City Square

Chris was in the middle of a pokemon battle with a friendly trainer, Billy, who had challenged him to a battle out of 3 pokemon. Both trainers were down to thier last pokemon, now that Billy's Kingler knocked out Chris' Dugtrio, but not before it doing about over half damage to Kingler.

"Heh, you're pretty good." Billy said.
"Same here," Chris said, "but now it's time to end this!" Chris then threw his Pokeball, and out came his Shiny Charizard.
"..Shiny? Nice...however you fail to see that my Kingler can probably K.O. him easily with a water attack..."
"Yes...but my Charizard was trained for speed, and you know what attack he has?"
"What?"
"Charizard, use Thunder Punch!"
Charizard then swooped in fast and deilvered a ThunderPunch to Kingler's face. The punch was enough to K.O. Kingler.
"...unbelievable...I didn't know it could learn ThunderPunch...congrats the victory is yours." Billy said, taking the loss well. It was clear that both trainers had a great time, wiin or lose.
"You were good as well. I'll battle you again later!" Chris said, and walked off, walking beside his Shiny Charizard, "now then Charizard, let's get to the pokemon center.."

"We have landed in Vermilion City, please watch your step as you board off the boat...."

Miharu opened her eyes and yawned, having awoken from her sleep from the announcement that was rebounding throughout the boat. As she had decided to sleep in her clothes, not minding that her clothes were now wrinkled and messy, she grabbed her already packed backpack and left her room.

Walking in the middle of a crowd was very insane, especially if people try to push, pull, and decide to go in a different direction. Sighing as loudly as she can, though she still couldn't be heard over the roar of the people, Miharu managed to make her way towards the dock. Noticing that with the crowd on the plank that would connect the boat from Vermilion City. Deciding that she didn't feel like being pushed off the plank and into the ocean, Miharu swiftly grabbed Ryuu's pokeball and let him out.

When Ryuu came out of his pokeball, he roared which did cause some people to fall off the plank and into the ocean. Miharu smiled at Salamance and asked quietly to be flown towards the pokemon gym.

Ryuu nodded in agreement and Miharu jumped on his back and gave a pat on Ryuu's back when she was safely on. Belting out another roar, Ryuu flapped his wings and flew towards the Pokemon Gym.

Miharu sighed in content in the air. She always had felt her most natural up in the air away from the pollution of mankind. As she felt her mind getting clearer, she thought about her next gym battle.

If I remember correctly, the gym leader is Lt. Surge and he uses Electric type pokemon. If so then I know the perfect team.

Nodding to herself as Ryuu landed down in front of the gym, she jumped off of Ryuu and landed on the ground safely.

"Thank you," she said to Ryuu and returned him to his pokeball.

Turning around to the gym, Miharu knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

((Hmm...maybe I should have said this, but the action in Chapter 1 is gonna take place in Goldenrod, so please find a way to have your characters be in Goldenrod. ^^))

Zoé's log, day 6...

I've arrived in Goldenrod City, almost a week after burning the mart in Saffron. I have a new job in the department store here, which I assume is less flammable. Though I do miss Saffron, moving to a new place is old hat for me.

Note to self: find out what "old hat" actually means...

Johto is odd, compared to Kanto. People here speak odly, and stare at me oddly as I walk down the street. You'd think they'd never seen a girl do an inner monologue before...

"It's not an inner monologue! You're speaking out loud!"

Hmm... that is unexpected. And awkward. Hey look! A guy and a Mawile!

Zoé heads over to the man, ignoring the random passerby who spoke to her just a second ago. "Hey there! That's a pretty cool Pokémon you have there!"

Sara woke up in the Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy smiled at told her That her Pokémon were all fully healed, Sara Placed her Poke ball back on her belt and then began smiling. She had just gained her license to compete in the Johto Triathlon; she was smiling because she didn't gain it the honest way she beat a trainer for it. She glanced over at Rachel, who wasn't too happy about losing her license."I can't believe I lost…" Rachel said with her head down somewhat sad. Sara's ears caught the sound of two trainers in the center talking; being the nosey person that she was she leaned in to get a listen. "WHITNEY IS a POWERFUL GYM LEADER SHE USES- The two trainers turned around and saw Sara glancing at her. They stopped and then walked off feeling violated. "I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP I'LL BEAT HER BY MY LONESOME! "she screamed. She threw her bag on her back and headed off towards the gym. The sun hit the city making the streets look like gold. Sara entered the Gym right as Whitney was sitting down for lunch. "WHITENEY I CHALLENGE YOU TO A POKEMON MATCH! Whitney stood up and walked to her stand a removed a poke ball before giving a smile. "This won't be a normal battle you can keep your Dern badge! I want that sandwhich!" Whitney and her crew looked a bit confused but finally she stepped forward "OK I ACCEPT YOU'RE CHALLENGE I CHOSE YOU NIDORINA! HER POKEBALL HIT THE GROUND RELEASING THE POKEMON.. Sarah Thought about it and before she made a dumb mistake she pulled her poke ball from her belt and tossed out her Starmie.
The water Pokémon was moving around elegantly on the battle room floor. The tension was quickly building from the combatants. "NIDORINA POISON STING ATTACK! Whitney yelled, but Sara matched it Starmie USE YOUR PSYCHIC ATTACK!" The star swayed in-between the poison barbs, maneuvering around them with a touch of grace. It neglected to use psychic because it was too busy trying not to get hit. "Psychic!" she yelled again. A huge purple ray of energy emanated from the core of starmie, with that the Star Pokemon launched a powerful beam of energy at Nidorina. The Pokemon dropped and The ref called the match. Feeling Triumphant Sara waltzed right up to Whitney and snatched her sandwich and exited the gym.
Before she took a bite she returned to the gym and stole the mustard packets that were resting on the table. "I think I earned this too" Munching on her ham and cheese sandwich, she ventured off into Golderod too see what else she could get into.

Nara/Good/Saffron Gym

Another day, another battle, another stupid trainer who would get pummeled by Nara after they had battled through the other trainers.

The battle had almost ended with Nara's Gallade facing the opponent's Tropius.

"Go Gally! Win this for me"

"Hah! A fighting type against my Tropos? That is ridiculous!"

"Heh, you wish! Gally, Belly Drum and show him what you can do!"

"Tropos! Use Aerial Ace!"

"Gally, Ice Punch before he hits you!"

With this, Gally had jumped up when Tropos' Aerial Ace approached and jabbed an Ice Punch downwards. With Belly Drum having boosted the Ice Punch and a 4x damage weakness on his side, Tropos was defeated.

"Heh, that's what you get from challenging me!", Nara said, as he turned around and left the battlefield.

While waiting for the gym leader to answer, Miharu's pokedex beeped causing her to startle slightly, not that she would ever show it. She checked her pokedex and frowned.

"Why is someone(1) asking me to meet up at Goldenrod City?" she muttered to herself as no one was around the gym. "And someone I don't even know? I don't like the feeling of this...But I have to admit I'm curious, so why not?"

Turning around to see if the boat's there as their next stop would be in to Olivine City which she could tell from the map would only be a short flight away. Miharu grabbed Ryuu's pokeball again when she saw that the S.S. Aqua was leaving.

"Ryuu, I'll need some of your flying time again," she said as she released Ryuu from his pokeball.

Ryuu let out a roar and nodded to Miharu to get on. She jumped on and patted Ryuu's back to signal that she was on correctly and Ryuu roared again and started to fly towards the S.S. Aqua.

Seeing the S.S. Aqua directly below her, Miharu thanked Ryuu and jumped off while returning Ryuu at the same time. Landing in a roll in order to lessen the impact, she managed to get on the boat without injuring herself.

Standing up and brushing the dirt off her clothes, Miharu walked away from all of the shocked people and headed to where her old room way. Sighing in relief when she saw that no one was there, she plopped down on her bed and started to sleep.

---

"We have arrived in Olivine City, we have arrived in Olivine City. Please exit the boat in an orderly fashion."

This time as she was standing near where the plank would connect, she was able to get off of the boat without any hassle. Miharu had heard a lot about the lifehouse and still remembers the Gym Leader, Jasmine, from Sinnoh where she was at Sunnyshore City(2).

Miharu checked the map she had on the pokenav she had gotten in Hoenn, but it had been updated to have all of the maps. She frowned when she saw that the S.S. Aqua actually went past Goldenrod City and she could have just flown off from there and had gotten to Goldenrod City much faster.

"Damn it," she mumbled to herself.

Miharu fingered Ryuu's pokeball wondering if Ryuu would be okay for another flight. Thinking about the mystery person and the mysterious message, she decided to fly there on Kaida instead.

Grabbing Kaida's pokeball, Miharu released Dragonite from the pokeball.

Kaida did something very different from Ryuu. While Ryuu would let out a roar, Kaida would grab Miharu with her tail and proceed to hug her very tightly.

Miharu elbowed into Dragonite's armor when she felt her ribs protest and sighed in relief when Kaida dropped her.

"We're heading over to Goldenrod City over that way," in which she points to the direction of Goldenrod City, "Mind flying me there?"

Kaida nodded and motioned for Miharu to get on. Miharu jumped on Dragonite and Kaida flew to Goldenrod City.

---

Landing in Goldenrod City while on a Dragonite, Miharu found that to be a very shocking thing apparently in Johto.

"The only people we know with a Dragonite is Indigo Champion Lance(3) and Blackhorn Gym Leader Clair(4) who both specialize in Dragon types," she was told once by a walking person.

Blushing slightly at the attention, Miharu ran into the pokemon center, ordered a room from Nurse Joy, and camped out in her room until the people were gone.

A few minutes later, Miharu noticed that they were gone and breathed a sigh of relief. Though, just to be safe, she stayed in her room while wondering about the mysterious message.

(1) This could be anyone you wish pertaining to the plot, or just some random dude who got the wrong number.

(2) I'm going by games, is that okay?

(3) I'm assuming that Lance is still the champion.

(4) I'm assuming that Clair is still the gym leader.

[Tyler (Ty) Thorn/Neutral/ Goldenrod]

Ty sped on the road towards goldenrod, he could see the out lines of building as he approached the city on his Hayabusa GSX1300R. He loved his bike and was afraid to park it almost anywhere. He eventually reached the streets of goldenrod, he found a nice parking garage and parked his bike even though he had a bad feeling about it. He took his Vulpix's pokemon out of his vest pocket and released Beth out and instantly ran up and jumped into Ty's arms. He stroked her head for a few seconds and put her down, she followed close to his feet as he walked out into the streets of goldenrod.

He was told someone had a contract that pays him big, he wasn't sure of the details yet but he was interested.

Chris R. Kane/Good/Goldenrod City - Pokemon Center

"Hello there, Nurse Joy!" Chris said as he entered the Center with his black Charizard behind him.

"Hello there, Chris, another battle happened today?" Joy asked, apparently knowing who Chris is.

"Yeah, and another victory for me...mind if you heal my pokemon?"

"Sure, no problem..." Joy said and then started to heal his pokemon...

Jack Drake/Evil/Goldenrod City

"Hmm...who said that?" Drake looked around to see who commented on his Mawile and found Zoe, " oh...well...it is a new Mawile, isn't it? I caught it myself from Hoenn's Victory Road..."

((To Micheala:

1. I'll try to think of someone. XD
2. That's fine
3. Lance is still the champion
4. Clair is still the Gym Leader))

Jack Drake/Evil/Goldenrod City

"...Pineapple...doesn't ring a bell...I'm afraid you have the wrong person..." Drake said, "...but, if you do find another person in this city who does have a shiny pokemon...let me know."

Nara Ecchinoyora/Good/Saffron-Goldenrod Train

Nara walked in and sat down opposite Sabrina just as the train sped off towards Goldenrod City. According to Sabrina, she had to attend a Gym Leader's Meeting at the Pokemon Association in Goldenrod City. And this time, Sabrina had actually decided to invite Nara along. That made Nara overly happy and excited about the trip. It also ascertained that he might be the one that Sabrina would choose to continue her legacy.

((I hope you don't mind me going ahead and making the meeting. If there's no meeting then I'll just remove it and put Nara going to Goldenrod City as an errand for Sabrina.))

OOC:Sorry, life got in the way[doesn't it always?] and this has been my first chance to post.

Steve/Undecided/Goldenrod

Steve stared at the people leaving the train station, looking for someone whom looked like they had secrets, secrets they would pay handsomely to keep that way. No one in particular seemed to pop out in the crowd so he decided that maybe he should just go and get something to eat. Steve ended up just getting some drinks and chips from the department store,"they do sell everything" he thought to himself. He let Odessa out of her pokeball and walked around Goldenrod with her, only stopping once as he saw someone with a Dragonite arrive, riding on the flying Dragonite.

[Zoé Hoban/Neutral/Goldenrod City]

"Sure thing! Seeyalaterbye!" Zoé turns around and walks away, headed for the department store.

I met a strange man in town. He wasn't the guy I was supposed to meet. Come to think of it, was I supposed to meet anybody? Que curioso... Oh well. I should probably stop by the Pokémon center, just to rest for a bit.

Zoé enters the center standing in line to speak to the nurse. She begins singing to pass the time, making up the words.

"Standin' in line, waitin' to see the nurse. Looking for the mall and some SHINY Po-kémon..."

After waiting out the crowd in her room in the pokemon center, Miharu started to get bored and had heard about a gym leader that lives in this city. As she had to win the gym badges at some point, she decided to go find the gym leader and battle him/her.

Miharu walked out of the pokemon center, after saying good bye to Nurse Joy, and asked for directions to the gym. As the "attention" had slightly toned down, she met someone that wasn't at the time where she landed on Kaida in the Town Square and that person directed her towards the gym. Well, after putting in some other directions.

"You turn right, then go left, then you keep on going straight and then you go left again(1),"

Miharu toned her out. Crap, how much directions are you going to give me son? And I bet you right now she's saying roads not to go down...(1)

"And then you see this intersection with this really tall building there and you do not want to go in that intersection(1)..."

Now, I'm not really sure if she said right or left? Maybe straight? Yeah, I think it was straight...(1)

"And that's how you get to the pokemon gym!" exclaimed the lady while clapping her hands.

"Thanks!" stated Miharu as started walking, she had another weird thought. Then she's going to stare at me to make sure that I go the right way.(1) As Miharu missed the right turn, the lady from before yelled at her again.

"No, no! You go right!" she yelled, putting her hands to the right.

Miharu smiled and went to the right. (1)

---

Miharu had made it in front of the pokemon gym and walked inside.

"'Ello?" she asked, her voice echoing in the gym.

"Up here~!" shouted a female voice from above.

Miharu looked up and saw a young woman with pink hair and white shirts/pants.

"Are you the gym leader?" asked Miharu.

The woman smiled. "Yup! I'm the leader of the Goldenrod Gym, Whitney. So you want a gym battle? I have to warn you, I'm pretty tough!"

Miharu smirked in reply. "Since you're warning me, I should warn you too. I'm also pretty tough."

---

A little bit after, Miharu walked out of the gym with a new badge out of her almost complete collection of badges (as she only needed the Johto badges). After walking around for a little bit, Miharu blinked before cursing.

"Perhaps I should have stayed in Kanto after all."

(1) Stolen shamelessly from CommunityChannel. What? I couldn't resist.

Miharu sighed as she got even more lost in the jungle known as Goldenrod City. While she was walking, she focused more on the mystery of the message.

It could just be a wrong number, in which case I should be able to leave...but what if it wasn't a mistake? How would they get my contact information anyways? I know that I'm an okay trainer, but not so much to warrant something like this? Perhaps it is just a person with the wrong number...but then why do I suddenly have a bad feeling about this?

While thinking about the mystery that was the pokedex message, Miharu had accidently bumped into someone. She automatically checked how this person looked and what he was wearing.

She noticed that he had slightly weird eyes, green near the iris and brown away from the iris. He had short black hair and wore very loose fitting jeans and a scruffy t-shirt. (Steve)

"Sorry about bumping into you," she automatically said.

Chris R. Kane/Good/Goldenrod Pokemon Center

"..Hmm?" Chris overheard Zoe, "...what was this about Shiny Pokemon?" he said as his Charizard was behind him.

Jack Drake/Evil/outside his house in Goldenrod City

"Hmm...where is that Commander Johnson..." Jack asked to himself looking at his watch, "...also, there was a mercenary that was supposed to see me..."

Steve looked at the person who bumped into him, she had shoulder-length hair, blue eyes, yellowish skin, some muscle, and looked like a teenager. He wondered briefly how she would looke when she was older and got a picture of someone fairly attractive, not exactly a model but among the ranks of pretty women.

The thought faded from his head and he realized he had blanked out for a few seconds. "It's ok, I probably should have been more out of the way since i'm not really doing anything" he said thoughtfully.
