Pokemon History

You all may know the plot of the pokemon games, but do you know the history that lead to the cause of the cause of the cause of the plot? No, very few people would probably, as there are only scattered bits of information about the history of the pokemon world. The origin of the planet that we are most familiar with in pokemon is a bit more known, but things like
"why are the orange island pokemon catagorized as subspecies, while other regions, thousands of miles apear to have the exact same populations of pokemon?"
"When was each region colonized?"
"When was the pokedex completed?"
"What happens now that the pokemon God is powerless?"

These are the kind of questions that I think we are going to have to figure out ourselves.

From what I have pieced together, this is the very begining of our pokemon world:
1. The anomoly (Arceus), expanded and created everything there is in this universe, while another reality was created in which giritina is the God pokemon

2. The physical arceus coallesed from cosmic dust, the coallesing body orbited very far out from a small star, meaning that it could live for eras relativally unaged.

3. This body was sparked to life fom an unknown scource, wanted to rest, so it created the rulers of time and space (dialga and palkia)

4. Palkia descided to make a planet, and created populations of heatrans, manaphys, to create detail out this planet, and created rayquaza as his servant to contain the atmosphere; There are probably other pokemon that created the land and the seas on other life-bearing planets

5. over time (aproximately the end of the precambrian era), most of the heatrans evolved into groudons, and most of the manaphys evolved into Kyogres (some of the remaining manaphys became inteligent and started to weaken due to sentientness, turning them into phiones)

6. The groudons were able to move the continents, and the kyogres the seas, and started to disrespect the rayquaza, which then in a rage killed all but one groudon and one kyogre.

7. Rayquaza seeing that he might someday have to discipline the groudon again because of it's firey temper, asked Palkia to create regigias to move the continents, and while Palkia was there, also descided to create a population of mews to populate the planet.

8. There was then the epic battle of the groudon and kyogre which rayquaza stopped and put to sleep, seeing as groudon had started the fight, rayquaza punished groudon more by officially assigning regigigas to move the continents.

9. The mews by now lived everywhere in the world, and started to adapt to their new enviroments, slowly becoming different species, a few mews remained mews though, being forced to inbreed due to such a small population, which explains for why they are so small

10. Humanity then formed from the mankeys and Primates


I thought about this alot and descided taht this is probably really acurate, if you see anything that should be changed, post it, and we'll have evreyone analyze the suggestion adn it could possibly replace an aspect of the story.

After the creation story, there is still alot of history going on, the orange island pokemon still need to be explained, anyone who has an idea please post it, all ideas will be analyzed for acuracy.

Groudon created and expanded continents, and Kyogre the seas. That caused conflict between the two, because when continents expand, the seas shrink and vice versa. Regigigas was the one who moved continents.

I have a theory for the orange island variants, but it has some holes...
The origional people who migrated to the orange islands took with them the pokemon that they thought looked better, so those islands were populated with pokemon that looked cool in the first place, the people as a whole grew kind of greedy about their pokemon and activated a ban on taking their cool looking pokemon out of their country (kind of like the egyptians did with their cats). The variant traits only got stronger, as the cool looking pokemon were more likely to be chosen and bred by the humans, making the large biological difference from the rest of the world's pokemon

holes: I don't know when this would occur, seeing as the age of human migration (real life) was really early, and pokemon they brought with them might have bred with native pokemon, or migrated out of the region themselves. They might have been smuggled out, imigrants that came there might have caught their pokemon there and when they had lived there a while, descided to move out of the country (although this could explain why many pokemon have SLIGHTLY different color schemes even though they are the same species).

well this is just a theory but might make sense.

and then arceus looked down and saw humans were creating technology that weakend and captured his creations. so he created Rotom to invade technology and wreak havoc. and then there was a group of many people with darkened spirits so he created a rock infused with power and they were bound to it thus creating spiritomb.

The spiritomb sounds really good, there would probably be spiritombs that are similar on every pokemon inhabited planet, each a little different because the dominant intelligent species used in the creation is different, let's just see what everyone else thinks about it first . Maybe it was rayquaza that created teh rotom, seeing as it is his planet, or maybe they are porygons that have died, and it's their spirit/data stuck on a computer grid

Arceus is the creator, in other words, started everything, then dialga and palkia were created, they detailed out our universe, applied the laws of physics, then disapeared for a while, possibly working out parrallel universes. Arceus kept things running; each planet has it's own lesser dieties, on ours- rayquaza. A few pokemon are created with the mini diety is put into power, then they adapt themselves
