Well, you shouldn't really ask for ideas. Well, actually you're not really asking but umm well HAVE an idea before you post a thread. Here, I'll PM you to help with a storyline. Right now this thread doesn't have anything to go on.

For an inserter you want either Pokepic or Unlz.gba. Unlz.gba is better IMHO because it can be used with more pictures, but Pokepic can work just fine. You will also need to make sure the sprite only uses 16 colours (if you're directly ripping them from D/P, you should be okay, but make sure they are). Also, the sprites must be 64x64 pixels OR THEY WILL NOT WORK.
