Pokemon Islands

[Chazzy]

Right as wells as my Harry Potter GoF A New Year (which isn't dead) i've decided to start a Pokemon game named, Pokemon Islands.

Features:
CBS (in production !!!)
CMS (coming as soon as the CBS is done)
Pokegear (this is a maybe, as i don't see it that improtant !)
Map
2 regions (Zabarak the starting region, an another region to the west no name yet :D)
100 + new Pokemon ! (won't use any orginal ones)
More to come later

Story:
You live in the region of Zabarak, Zabarak is a region full of islands !, your first pokemon, a Cubrass is given to you by your dad, your dad is the towns catcher, its his resbonsiblity to catch new pokemon for beginners to use !, your dad leaves to goto one of the northern islands to catch rare pokemon, he gets there ok but while there the Waarata tribe (a gang like team rocket if you need an explantion) capture your farther and steal his pokemon, on discoving he knows where the rarest pokemon is allocated, they decide they will get it out of him, while doing a chore for Chazzy (who's basically like a rival) you find out the Waarata tribe have captured your farther, chazzy confirms this and you tell your mother, you say that you will go out and look for him, but chazzy tells you to get to each island your guna need a ticket from each one ! you travel accross the Zabarak region to find out when you collect all the badges and travel freely to the northern islands that your farther has been taken to the new region because the pokemon is allocated there !

The pokemon need a serious makeover!, they dont have much colour,shading or detail :dead:

Yeah for the sand prints i used loads and loads of events :D
\And yeah my pokemon arent to well constructed, but there not the final sprite !
But then again if anyone could help me make the sprite it will be appreciated !

More updates tomorrow, hopefully i'll have the bag system for the CBS started tomorrow !

I can help making the sprite with the condition that the pokemon can be added to Chromatite's pokedex and pokemon list :P

Datriot: i didn't relise that anyone thought of an kidnapping idea :D, even though it does seem that it would be a common thing to add in a game :P

DarkDragon: I'd be proud for the new pokemon i mader to be in your pokedex and list, and i'm sure your spriting will be awesome, but before i let you do the sprite i think i should try again to resprite, just to see if i can get better, how many shades of colour should i use, like 3 or 2 colours dark, and light?

depends how detailed you want the pokemon to be, try looking at a pokemon that has the same kind of detail of the one you are trying to make and see how many colors it uses for shading, then just adapt them to the colors you need to use. I really recommend the following software for spriting, it supports layers and antialiasing which helps a lot, it has all the tools you need AND it's free: https://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Graphic/Graphic-Editors/GraphicsGale.shtml

my spriting really improved since I started using that software, compared to it MS Paint is NOTHING :)

Very nice. Buuuttt... I suggest changing the flashback colours to a grey. Make it look old. Or try to mix in a clouddy panorama and a lightlightblue. I dunno. :P

Well i tried to redo a sprite, the lab fiore pokemon Puppire, i had a japanise version of Graphics Gale but the link you gave was a newer version so i downloaded it, hmmm what do you think, it's improved but is it good enough?

O and how do i change the pixels, because it was a bit to big can i change it now i;ve made the sprite?

mybe instead of making it scratch you could try and build it off parts of already made pokemon then recolor it to the color you want.

I didn't quite get your question though.

I just relised the question i asked didn't make ,much sense :P, i was tired while typing it don't mind me :P

I just wanted to know is it possible for me to change the size of the pic, like from 30 X 30 to 15 X 15 (just an example :D)

P.s. [_DarkDragon_] you can use all the pokemon that are in mine in Chromatite's pokedex and pokemon list, thats all fine, you could help spriting if you wanted....

You can simply do that in paint, just highlight the Pok?mon and then right-click and click on Stretch/Skew, then stretch it by 50% on both horizontal and vertical.
Simple! :P

ye, you can change the size but you will have to correct the imperfections.

Ok, i've re sprited the pokemon, i'll post the screen of um in battle, as for the CBS just try it out getting rid off bugs and stuff then i'll start on the switching system, then the item and well run is simple, then i'll work on catching ...

looks better but the back sprite looks like a mouse, not a dog. I dunno if you want it to look like a mouse or a dog, I might sprite it differently for it to appear in chromatite though, I can show you the final product later if you want.

well actually its not meant to look like either a dog or a rat :P lopl i can't sprite lion cubs well :S, if i give you a descriptionm of each pokemon and you sprite it?

or should i try to resprite it again :P?
