What is Detect? It can be both Protect and Detect because Detect was a TM in GSC as well as Protect.
 
Actually, Bianca, Tig worded his questions correctly, just like in the actual game show. And, yes, Tig got it correct first! Almost everyone can learn Protect from the TM, with the exception of special Pokemon like Caterpie, Ditto, Magikarp, etc.

That's a little overpowered. I mean, most of us have not even watched the episode.

EDIT: Yes, Ninetales, he worded his question correctly, I was wrong about that.
It is just that most replys here are too simple, like saying, "What is *answer*"
instead of being a little more creative.
 
That's OK--sorry if I sounded harsh there. But the questions don't have to be "what is..."; it can be "who is", "who was", "who are," etc.

*slaps herself on the head* Drat! About that last answer: The episode "All in a Day's Wurmple" is playing at this precise moment where I live! That should give the answer away... :knockedou
