3rd Gen Pokemon leafgreen 1M error

    I am having the 1M sub-circuit board is not installed error and I've read that it means your game is a bootleg. My game is not I bought it new from gamestop when it came out. I want to know if there is a way to fix it or if anyone knows what may have become disconnected. There is no obvious disconnected "pieces" on the motherboard. please help in anyway possible.
