3rd Gen Pokemon leafgreen 1M error

I am having the 1M sub-circuit board is not installed error and I've read that it means your game is a bootleg. My game is not I bought it new from gamestop when it came out. I want to know if there is a way to fix it or if anyone knows what may have become disconnected. There is no obvious disconnected "pieces" on the motherboard. please help in anyway possible.

Have you reseated the components and applied electrical tape? They could have loosened with age somehow.
