Pokemon: Legend of Articuno

    Well here comes attempt 3:

    Hey its me :bandit:

    Im working on a game using rpg maker xp called Pokemon: Legend of Articuno, anyways at long last here are some scrennies :cool: :

    And the storyline:
    Articuno the legendary bird of ice has put the universe in grave danger, Team Rocket attempted to capture him but the bird easily escaped and setteld on Ice island. The Legend of Articuno say's "If the Bird of Ice steps foot on ice island, the world is in danger...articuno will truly awaken and be more powerful then ever, and the galaxy will freeze. You a Young boy who lives in Sentret valley is about to recieve your first pokemon when you find out that your name is on the legend:

    The only bird of ice
    will one day destroy
    the galaxy if he isn't
    stopped soon,
    theres an island
    out to sea.
    if the bird
    lands there
    the galaxy will die.
    only one pokemon
    trainer can stop him
    he is called (Player)
    If this terrible thing
    shall come to pass
    he will have to go
    to ice island and stop
    the bird.
    So with the pokemon you choose player sets out from Sentret valley on a quest to ice island...a quest that could end his life.

    Anyway, you should really work on your maps more. There're a lot of blank spaces.
    You could use the transparent tile to make your rooms smaller; therefore making the room more "full."
     
    I stated that you shouldn't ask to be a beta tester unless the creator has specified that he/she is accepting any, which the creator is in this case.

    When it is clear that the creator doesn't need any beta testers (or has no wish to have any) and someone asks, that is when it is not allowed.

    Anyways iv'e redone the Inside house and its improved alot and how do I change the text box?

    Sorry. I didn't see that part either.
     
    No probs, Where can I find Charsets, cause the one I downloaded in the resource section needed a password to extract it, im not gonna get very far without charsets?

    Perhaps you didn't read my post properly? I never said you didn't ask for beta testers. I was merely explaining how the rule works.

    Nice Game Tiger! I like the storyline! But your maps aren't good...

    Ask Avatar about the password; ask if you can get his permission to use them.
    Go check the resources thread, and download a couple of other games.
    Just remember to give credit, and get permission if needed.
     
    I sent a pm to avatar Yesterday, DININI the Maps in the screenshots above have been redone, i'll upload some screeines of Sentret Vallage andthe improved starting house

    (Is there are thread sayin how you change the text box and font)
     
    I found out earlier, but thanks anyway, Sadly Its still transparrent.

    Anyway, most of you thought the map work was poor I re done it, here are the screens tell
    me if they have improved thx:

    Well, I will Leave them for now and come back to them later cause if I keep trying to improve them this game will never be complete
