FireRed hack: Pokemon Legends

Hello, everyone, I wanna introduce a Project I have been working on for about a week now. I think that I have made it to the point that I can now show my work on what I have done so far. Well first things first...the story....

Professor Oak...one of the famous Pokemon Researchers have stepped out of Kanto. He has visited other places as well, like the Sinnoh Region. He has done all this because his research brings him to new
discoveries everyday. But lately things haven't been right. Red during his conquest on collecting the 8 badges of Kanto have ran into a group called Team Rocket! Time and again, Red have spoiled their plans and made their Leader, Giovanni disband the criminal organization. 3 years after that Team Rocket made their way to the Johto Region. Their goal was to bring Giovanni back using a famous Radio Tower in Johto. But just like before, a Trainer known as Gold have stopped them in their tracks. After their defeat Team Rocket finally decides to disband their position. But...are Team Rocket gone for good? Oak's research have lead him to a region known as Florre. The Pokemon inhabitants seem to be kinda similar to Kanto. Oak has had many meetings in the Florre region. And on the day he is needed the most, 5 people are graduating the Lima Trainer School. Our story brings it's attention to a boy that looks similar to Red, the one who stopped Team Rocket in the first place. The boy recieves his Trainer card, to show he is an official Trainer. After that he goes to Professor Oak's new lab, which is in his home town of Marshland Town. Professor Oak is in a hurry, so he is quick to give the boy his Pokedex telling him "Don't worry, it's already been registered" As Oak is about to take off, a Pokemon gets into the lab after following the boy. The Pokemon becomes the boy's partner. Strange things have been going on lately, and people say that Team Rocket have laid their sights on the Florre region. The young boy is about to embark on a journey, one that may end up putting Team Rocket away for good.

Team Rocket pulls out all the stunts here.
No fakemon
New palettes and Trees(no new tiles, I think Firered's are just fine)
New Region...Florre(I think that region is taken, if someone knows please tell me)
386 Pokemon available but not right away
All the Legendaries from the 1st gen to the 3rd are part of the story involving Team Rocket
Many more!!!

Hmmm not bad at all... I gotta say it's pretty interesting.
Also Lapras as starter is something new but it looks kinda weird seeing it in lab and outta water xD
You should just leave it in that water where it is on 6th screen. :)

Nah, some jokes like that should really be in hacks ;)

Anyway the hack looks great. Keep it up!

Lapras as a starter is a weird choise, as Lapras doesn't gain levels as fast as a non-evolved (with 2 evolutions). So in other words, Lapras would be very difficult to train.
The colour of the grass is a little too bright for my liking, and it doesn't fit too well with the colour of the trees. The story is pretty interesting, and I like the o/ws, I think Zel!x from WAH made them?

And yeah come to think of it when I was testing the game Lapras didn't get much exp, aside from that it is hard to train. I guess I'll be thinking of a new starter than. And thanks yeah it was zelix now that I remember, I'll go ahead and edit the first post so I can add him there.

Lapras is new starter and that could make your hack more popular.

(Sigh)...

Unfortunatly there hasn't been much progress than what have been shown. Except the the fact I made corrections to some scripts, I have been busy with school, and that takes it's toll on me.

I do hope I can get the spirit to keep going on this because I do believe I can make this hack fun and worth people's time. Although I am tired of firered hacks, and ruby sucks in that compartment. But I won't give up, I've been trying to work on this but I can't.

I am Back!! That's right!

It's been about a year since I quit hacking. Been too busy with school. But I've finished now. I now have time to make a hack! I've also been working on another project that's non-related to Pokemon and to tell the truth, it's probally my top priority over this one...

However, I've been in the mood lately to start back on this hack. I hope I still remember how to script lol. I'll just read over my scripts and such and maybe it'll come back to me...by the way...do anyone still play firered hacks anymore? I've been more possessed by the NDS games to really worry about a hack anymore..
