Pokemon Level Up Challenge

Hey everyone, welcome to the Level Up Challenge! I am using the Ultimate Monotype Challenge's layout.

Basically, there are two ways of doing this. Both involve hatching an Egg in the file you want to try the challenge in. You will need to get the Pokemon to Level 100. This will not work with R/G/B/Y!

YOU WILL PROBABLY NEED TWO DS's fOR METHOD 1.

The first way is going through the game with any level 1 hatched Pokemon. Just trade over an egg, hatch it, and try to level up your Pokemon to level 100. Completing the game will not be necessary. No Rare Candies or Day Care. Exp. Share is allowed.

The second way is the same thing, except with a file that has already been started. No Rare Candies or Day Care. Exp. Share is allowed.


Rules

• No hacking or cheating. The only exception is making your Pokemon be shiny.
• You may not use Legendary Pokémon.
• No trading Pokémon from other games, unless you are trading an egg.
• You can use HM slaves, just don't use them in battles.
• You may use an emulator; just don't cheat on it.
• It is never too late to sign up, you may always use the same Pokemon as someone else, and remember, HAVE FUN!!!

Requirements

• A copy of Gold, Silver, or Crystal. HeartGold and SoulSilver will be accepted here, but for the ultimate experience, I suggest you go with the originals.
• A copy of Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald.
• A copy of Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum.
• The will to play, and the desire to have fun. =D
• Emulators will be allowed for any of the above, excluding the previous. ^_^

You can post your progress here in this thread, being as detailed or as vague as you like. But please, when doing so, be sure to mention which method you're using.

For now, I've reached Azalea with my trusty Rocky (Geodude), tomorrow we're going to crush Bugsy!

Change of plan's I was hatching a Treecko. (for another thing) I was happy when it was hatching BUT I was really happy when i saw it was a shiney :):):)

So I'm using this new Treecko.

I started last night spendt about 2 hrs grinding and it's now level 23.

Hey, the challenge I suggested was made into a topic! Except now it's slightly weirder...

When I thought of it I planned on continuing my Lanturn Solo Run as this, so I'll do that once I finish my Crystal Trio Run. I think the Lanturn is level 61 at the moment or something.

And...some time of training. I have to bring my Rocky to level 100, right? :P

I'm going to be using the Masuda method to get shiny Chimchar soon anyway, so I'll do it once I get that. We cannot use Lucky Eggs, correct?

Can I try this on Platinum with an Umbreon? (The Eevee I was gonna evolve into Umbreon evolved into Glaceon so I'll be levelling up two Glaceons) Can I do Glaceon at the same time? I'll be using method 2.
