Why's it gray? I think it should be brown to look like a ground Pokémon. But if it was supposed to be black, that was the right shading. >.<

I was thinking a rusty or earthy brown, not brown-black. >.< It looks... like a brown-tinted gray. But then, Krysteenah isn't into really dark colors, yes? In the end your sprite is up to you. ^_~

Let's see. The collar part is the only gray and black area. The rest is dark brown with light brown. Shading is at a regular brown or light at some points.

I like Toxeon Better...It had a little more Detail...(like the tip of its tail...)And I thought it looked Gray at first...Then I saw the Brown...

Well, a guy who had actually done that stuff before did that. This was my first time actually putting effort into it. Of course people thinks it looks bad :'(

Aw...Don't feel down...I think you just went a little overboard with the shading...It looks too dark...which is why I thought it was Grayish...Until I looked closer...and you should put a Unique feature to it...Like the Tail on Toxeon...Give it something unique...

Alright then, I'll put a new one up.

Alriht here's the new Eartheon:

Yeah, It's pretty good for being your first try, WillBill. Don't worry about it. I'm sure you'll get better and better with time. Also, you could try looking at some spriting tutorials if you want help with it.

I did try a couple of my own (recolors just like the others; I do that too) - now with this tail issue, I may have to redo them, but I will show you all what they look like for now anyway:

I like the sand-colored ruff better (it's easier to see, and besides, gray is a rock color, not a ground color), but... meh.

Anyway, I like the pointy tail better for some reason. Seems to fit better.

EDIT: Also, I can redo it with that jumping sprite, if I can get it, if you want...

Okay fine. I guess we'll use yours instead of mine. I liked my features because it was a little more than just "recouloring". I have no idea why I just feel like I can't do anything right...

Actually, you already have done something right, WillBill. You have a good story. It didn't just think of itself, now, did it?

Also, like I said, I could make that sprite more unique. Or, I could take a plcture of an Eartheon and actually scratch sprite it (>.< although it seems like I'm your spriter now or something... >.<). Which I could probably scratch sprite a toxeon, too.

Just, don't worry about it. We are all good at some things, and have difficulty with others. I'm sure that there's something in this at which you'll shine.

Alright I changed it:

(Any better?)

Yes, I can tell it's brown better now, and the ruff also looks better. You still don't quite have the same highlights as an original sprite would, I think. Also, you'll have to make sure you only used 15 colors (plus the background color, which totals 16 ;)).

Spriting can be kind of challenging. But I'm sure you'll get it with a little practice. :)

Alright! There's 11 colors in it.

Okay. You'll want to put some highlights in the tail, I think (the lighter color) because, remember, the light is coming from the top-left corner of the image. You can look at official sprites as a guide.

I put a few light colors on the side of the tails. Hopefully you can notice it.

It was already reflecting anyways.

That looks Much Better...What did Ray Say back there...It was Spam whatever he said...The Lighter Color on the collar is Much Better...

I would have thanked you earlier but I forgot. thanks for accepting me into the game WillBill!
