story
in the region of lets say...orana,you are a young boy about to start his pokemon adventure. the story is basically the same as firered at the present time, with you going to gyms whilst stopping in towns, but once i become better at scripting, i may add a sub plot involving a legendary in.

I am a pretty good starting mapper, though I got a big project starting myself...3 tips though:

1. NEVER make square maps
2. NEVER make patches of grass look like theres someone coming to mow them every week
3. Remember about diversity of tiles...

ok, thanks for that, i have now changed the starters to growliethe, horsea, and gastly.
ok, i'm gonna need some help with some things, if anyone knows how to do it place the answer next to the corresponding number.

1)how do you make it so you start off with the national dex?

2)how do you script legendary events(if you could post a link or a file showing how that would be appreiciated.

3)i have an overworld editing program, but i don't know how to copy and paste sprites onto it

4)how do you turn a person into a trainer and how do you chose which poke's he has.

okay, so if you could answer any, it would be much appreciated.

3:Use Import/Export.
4:In world map editor 1.90(by LU-HO) you can choose it as a trainer but I don't know the rest.

Use can use the Pet program in elite map.......work on your maps first.....
