Pokemon Monopoly

I know they have Johto and Kanto editions of Pokemon Monopoly, but I don't want to pay almost $45 for them when I can get regular Monopoly for about $20, no matter how bad I want them. Especially since I am tight on cash since I'm now in college. But one thing that really bothers me is that when I looked on the back of the Johto Edition box, they have Lyra instead of Kris. How dare they!

Special licensed editions of Monopoly are never going to be as cheap as the normal game. Simple fact of licensing, really. Even at $45 apiece , I'd be very tempted to get the Pokemon versions still.

However, it's a bit silly to get mad at them for using Lyra over Kris as the Johto Edition is based off of HeartGold and SoulSilver, not Crystal, since those two are the most recent Johto games.

I'm not mad at them, just annoyed. And that's not always true. I got a Star Wars: The Clone Wars Monopoly for about $20 at Target once.

I got the Adventure Time Monopoly for about £15 on Amazon a couple of years ago. Didn't know there were Pokémon editions though. [Insert shut up and take my money meme here]
