Pokemon Movie game-based idea

I always thought there movies that closely follow the games.

The 1st move could be "Pokemon Yellow Version" and follow The RBY storyline.

Next "Pokemon Crystal Version" will be a movie about Jimmy and Marina's adventures throught the Johto region.

The 3rd movie "Pokemon Emerald Version" will follow the adventures of Brendan and May as they travel through Hoenn and thwart the plots of the environmental terrorists Team Magma and Team Aqua.

And of course "Pokemon Platinum Version" would follow Lucas and Dawn through Sinnoh as they stop Team Galactic's evil plot of world destruction.

I always Imaigined a live Action pkmn movie based off platinum
Team Galactic.etc
Odviousely it would have to be Adapted to a movie
The hero would not start off in his starter town.etc
he/she would also Already have a stong pkmn

I don't think that it would happen but it would be cool I guess. They could develop the game characters to have their own personalities but as Pokedude45 said above, thr characters would already have strong Pokémon and stuff.

I actually though of a movie where the character does start off in the hometown the movie would be long probably 3 hours if they did that.

3 hours? thats long. sounds like a hindi film.
a film that follows each and every battle? the gym battle? thats going to be waaaaaaaay too long. and also the elite 4 and champ

No normal trainers and countless wild Pokemon grinding will mostly be axed like in a movie based on Platinum the most important thing is to focus on Team Galctic's plot and after Cyrus is defeated giving attention the Elite Four and Champ.

Doing such a thing I estimate would come out to a 3 to 4 hour movie if enough stuff was truncated.
