Doesn't you think it's weird that a Hoenn pokemon is obtainable while listening to the Sinnoh sounds on thurdays? O.o

My guess is pokemon meant for meditite to be a sinnoh pokemon that migrated to hoenn, Meditite seems more widely obtainable in sinnoh. I never noticed this but that is interesting. Don't forget that every pokemon has a story behind it.

Oh I never noticed that. That is weird unless it migrated to Sinnoh like the post above said.

Kinda odd, I suppose.

However, Meditite are incredibly common in Sinnoh, so much you can even get wild Medicham. In Hoenn...not so common. So I'd generally refer to Meditite as being a Sinnoh-native pokemon, due to rarity in Hoenn

I once read about this on Bulbapedia. Their explanation was also something about being more common in Sinnoh. And that does sound like a good reason, although it is odd...
