Pokemon Mystery Dungeon-Explorers of Night and Day OOC thread

    Welcome to my pokemon mystery dungeon OOC thread, here we talk...out of character. You are a pokemon trying to save the world.

    Night
    The night explorers try to get the 6 moon gems, the 2 fallen stars and the midnight shadow in order to get into Team Evil's castle to save Darkrai.

    Day
    The day explorers try to get the 6 sun gems, the 2 daylight charms and the Lunar Wing to get to Team Meanie's chamber to save Cresselia.

    all SU's are accepted. if you defeat a dungeon full of pokemon your weak to, youll level up. Example:
    You have a team of water types. your in a forest filled with grass types. if you defeat all the grass types with pokemon WEAK to grass, then youll level up.

    No. Absolutely not. Some Pokemon have more weaknesses than others. Also, what if someone decides to be a sableye or a shibishirasu? Then they would never level up. This needs to change. I think that 1 mission = 1 lv up is the best.

    Hello. I had recommended a battle system for the RP to Mzmingle via PM but she didn't answer. So, how about voting for it:

    It's (super\not very\regularly) effective!

    The wild Pokémon took -6 damage!

    Explorers:

    - Pokémon Lv5 HP: 19 \ 19
    - Pokémon HP: 20\21

    - Wild Pokémon Lv5 HP: 15\15
    - Wild Pokémon Lv5 HP: 9\15

    End of Turn

    Naturally, Mzmingle gets to control the enemies, as she is the RP owner.

    Example:
    (Roleplaying as Costali, battling with Torch, vs 2 rattatas)

    I was panicking. Torch was getting damaged hardly from both Rattata. I had to use my Aura to protect him. I lifted my hand, saying "Aura Sphere"!

    Costali used Aura Sphere!

    It's super effective!

    Rattata took -6 damage!

    Explorers:

    - Costali Lv5 HP: 19 \ 19
    - Torch HP: 20\21

    Enemies:

    @ naturekeeper yea, but i dont control the enemy.
    one mission is one level up. can we stop *cough* being idiots *cough* fighting and leave that how it is now.

    I like the idea but it would take too long to type...
    I like the freestyle battling we have now...

    Ex.
    Pokemon A ran up to Pokeon B and used Pound but the Pokemon B dodged it ETC.
    Jus check my 2nd to last post on the actual RP if you wanna see what i mean.
     
    yes, agreed with Cookiez. Freestyle writing is much more better as it provides a larger scale for creativity. I prefer describing how the move looks like instead of just saying "Pokemon used Move" blah blah blah, cos if I do that, that would show that I'm lazy and my English sucks. And I'm NOT lazy and neither does my English suck. So there.
     
    But, you get to write it freestyle... Before the move listing.

    heres the day mission to get the lunar wing (which is a while away yet)
    Client: Espeon.
    Message: "The lunar wing is glowing like mad! Help!"
    Objective: Bring all your sun gems and the daylight charms to stop the glow so you can get the lunar wing to save cresselia.
    Reward: Lunar wing, 2000 coins.
    ALL DAY EXPLORERS WORK TOGETHER IN THE FINAL MISSION!

    Heres the night one.
    Client: Umbreon
    Message: "Help! The Darkness is pulling me in to another dimension!"
    Objective: Bring your moonlight gems and the fallen stars to stop the force and save Umbreon from the evil Dimension!
    Reward: Midnight Shadow, 2000 coins.
    ALL NIGHT EXPLORERS DO THIS MISSION!

    That's quite ahead of our time. :P But it's ok if you just wanted to let us know beforehand.
    And about our Team Aqua Punch in Michael's RP, just wanted to remind you that we're in a mission, cos you don't seem to be active on that RP. :/
     
    can i join diffrent team cuz it seems they wont be active for a while????? :?
