This is just an idea for a FireRed hack I might make one day.
Story
5 days after your 10th birthday, your mum wakes you and your brother up and tells you the old man next door wants you for something. You quickly get dressed and go to the old man's house. He was once a great Pokemon trainer and even became the champion of the Narann Elite Four. He has three Pokemon left, but he cannot take care of them anymore and wishes to give one to you and your brother. He decides to give the last one to his grandson. You and your brother return to your house and show your mum the Pokemon you got. You both tell her you are going to become Pokemon trainers, but she refuses to let you leave home all by yourself. Suddenly, your dad tells her that she should let you go, and that you will be fine. She calms down a bit and agrees to let you go.
