He has been on.
He just hasn't posted.
He has been responding to my pms.

He said that he would not be making any new hunts until I have the script done.
I know that makes you want me to work faster, but please don't rush me.
It may take a few weeks to get the script to work because, it is my first full script.

And plus, it gives him time to work on other aspects of the game.

And his progress is extremely fast because as of now he has A LOT of stuff done for such little time that this project has been going on.
 
I agree he has made a lot of progress (great maps are done fast, excellent fast sprites) plus we have gave so many ideas we dont want to overload him but im glad the thread wont die ;)

@alex um.. still thinking of ideas for fakes to work on and maybe show you just one idea im thinking of would be cool but its kinda hard, also maybe think about having a cool battle system like other games ive seen it might just put the game up there with those great games ;)

I have ran into a problem that will prevent me from doing any graphics work.
Due to my computer crashing service pack 2 has been erased from my computer.
Paint.NET needs service pack two to work.
See my dilemma.
It is the only program that I have that can draw.

I have regular paint but it is not exact enough to do this kind of drawing.
I also have photoshop essentials but it got a bug which doesn't allow you to change the colors.
As soon as I can figure out how to install service pack 2 or three I will do the graphics.

Why won't it install do you ask?
Well I was getting to that.

I have firefox on my pc but you can't update the service pack without internet explorer.
I can't download internet explorer because of an error that comes up (If you want to see it then I can post it for you).
I can't update Internet Explorer because an old version was on the computer before it crashed and now the old version got messed up, rendering it un installible and un fixable and the new internet explorer can't be installed because it thinks that internet explorer is already on the computer.

If anyone knows how to get around this or how to update the service pack from another browser, TELL ME!
 
Yeah.
I think working on my game a lot gets kind of boring.
I like to help out with other, may I say better, games to keep my mind on work but not making it really repetitive.

well this isn't definate idea (it'll fail if you can't download it as an .exe file) but why don't you go on another pc that has a working Internet Explorer, download the pack, and either email it to your usual computer or put it on a flash drive and take it home. Just an idea
 
Okay, I got internet explorer to work and then I got started doing the updates. It fails on the pre updates and then I have to go and look for the answer to the fail on microsofts website but all it says is about how great this software is and not how to fix the problem. It doesn't tell you the error code so you can't look it up.

I am going to have to do the steps to fix every error code until I find the right one.
 
ya this game looks amazing. Is this going to be set in current, past or future? Because you could put in characters from the shows like ash, Brock, Misty, May, Tracy, etc. It would make a good sidequest thing and you could even battle them (allthough Ash would crush you with his lvl 3000 Pikachu) :)
 
I actually had an idea that if it takes place in the future, then you could battle Gold,Silver, Krystal, Lucas, and Pearl (since there story would have taken place a good 7 years ago). And then once you beat all of them, you can battle Red, Leaf, Blue, Brendan, May, and possibly wally (as their story took place 10 years ago, so they would be even stronger.

I like that. But if it takes place in the past, you could find out who ash's father is!!! Mabey she ran off with Brock's mom.. we will never know
 
...In my opinion, that sounds ridiculous...This is a fangame, not some 'gap-filler' for the anime >.<;
 
i have to agree with pichu. cuz then i got the idea pf playing to old heroes as this from gen 2. It would just be a post game event good for none ev training (however, since it does have relationship to the manga, as did gen 2's red, you might have to do something to remove them from their stone cells).
 
Okay, battling Red, and maybe even Gold I can agree with, but not the rest. The idea of battling Red in Gen 2 was not manga-based. Since the plot concerning the Gen 2 games took place after Red defeated TR in the Red/Blue games, you are given the option to battle Red, who's trained since then. However, 'Red' is named after the default name for the hero from Red Version, not the manga character.
 
not really what i meant. by gen 2, i actually only meant the espeon. and sorry for the mistelling, but i meant some relation. so the stone cell was just an idea theat i myself actually didn't really6 like. it was just to throw out some ideas. I also thought that battling red and gold is really enough, but due to releases of kris and leaf, it would seem pretty interesting to battle those as well. meanwhile, the rival blue was battle-able as a gym leader, so im trying to x out the ones with the least relevance. so I decided that even if this idea is incorporated, i would be taking out kris (due to the fact that in a sense, she doesnt exist) i will also take out gen 3 + for one because it would clutter, and two gen 3+ just got out of whack and to far away from the original games.
 
Well, essentially, Kotone from HG/SS is the 'new' Krys. Also, I think you're refering to Blue, the female protagonist from the R/B/G mangas, as Leaf, correct?
 
rawr! this isnt about manga or anime this is about ultimate originality awesomeness
