Pokemon: Neverending Story

Laying on the ground, I stared into the sky while one hand gripped on my water pokemon deck.

"Hm... All I remember was picking up a card and then seeing my Squirtle..." I said to myself. "Where the heck am I?" I stood up and look around once more. Nothing felt familiar to me. There were lushful trees and roads. I was sitting atop a small hill with a view of a town not too far away.

"Maybe I can figure out where I am by asking the pokemon center... Wait... What am I thinking?!" I said wondering. I stood up, dusted off the dirt from the buttocks of my brown pants and walked off towards the town. I looked at my deck of cards in my hand. One of my Squirtle cards was on the bottom, and it had an unusual shine which stopped me. I thought I was imagining things because the shine was gone leaving only a dull colored card. "Hm...." I mumbled and started off again.
----

OOC: Yes, yes. It is also very plain. I guess I'll meet up with Kakashi Hatake in the pokemon center.

Kakashi Hatake said:
(( I would have said you have to get your first Pokemon at the lab but...you've decided to already wound up with it...but its up to you if you wanna change that. ))

(( okay, Native doesn't have the pokemon yet. Bagon is still wild, it's just following her. As of now, she doesn't have any pokemon. I didn't mean to make it sound like she already had it. I had thought that it would have been appearant that Bagon is wild. But yeah. Um. . . I will meet up in the town square but give me a few more posts so I can get to the city.))

He shuddered his head he seemed dazed but he was fully aware of everything round around himself, the noises of people, the busy streets of the town, the yelling of parents to their children, he shook his head a bit more as he began to look about he then felt up on his side where his deck holder was taking his deck out of the holder as he looked to make sure everything was there, but there was a card missing...it was his Cyndaquil, he began to panick as he started to scream out, as a Officer with a blue outfit with green fuzzy, but spikey hair came to him and said. "Excuse me young man, can i help you, your making a fuss in the streets and disturbing the peace." he simply froze he thought he was imagining things but it was Officer Jenny.

Native kepted herself walking and bagan to speed up pace. Millions of thoughts ran threw her head. What was going on? Did she just thought she saw a grass pokemon? Pokemon can't be real. These were the stuff running threw her head. She wasn't so sure what to do. Suddenly she stopped shorted when she saw a huge yellow lightning looking bolt shot out from the sky and hit a huge steel bird. The bird squaked loudily as it was light up in the golden color of thunder. Native's eyes were wide. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"That's a Skarmory!" She exclaimed loudily as she ran quickly to the sight of where the thunder attack was being launched.

She gasped as she saw a huge, yellow and black stripped, large bee with no wings. It had a pair of what looked to be antlers and bulky looking arms.

"Now way! That's an Electabuzz!" She shouted out loud in disbelief.

This caught Electabuzz and turned to look at her. It's eyes glared to Native as she gulped. Electabuzz began to turn and face. For the first time in Native's life, she felt unsure of her own body. Electabuzz than shot off towards her at a quick sprint. Native was so shocked at what was going on, her body refused to move. Her legs were very heavy and she felt she couldn't lift them.

"Buzzzz!" It cried as it drew back it's left arm and balled it's claws as a glowing golden mark appear around it's fists and it was sparking with lightning.

"Bagon!" Shouted that monsterious voice as a huge red, yellow, and orange orb flew out and slammed into the punching fist canceling both out.

Native suddenly fell down at the very horrior.

"That Electabuzz used a thunder punch on me only a dragon rage attack formed and blocked it." Said Native as she realized she was in trouble.

She quickly scrambled to her feet and began to run left away from Electabuzz. The lightning pokemon would have chased, but it wanted to know what pokemon stopped it and it started to search in the direction of the attack. Bagon, however, had managed to crawl away and continued following Native.

Native was running like their was no other way to go. Her eyes were big and her mind whirled and filled with fuzz. She ran over a large hill and stopped as she saw the city below. Her breathing was quick and short, but she still had a lot of momentum and she started to run down the hill making her way to the entrance of the city as fast as she could run.

She was freaked out and afraid of what she just saw and what would have happened to her. Luckily who ever saved her did or she'd be toast by now. Not far behind her, came running the light blueish-green, scaled dragon with no wings. It was like drawn to Native, but Native had no ideah.

Upon reaching the entrance she ran in and ran off to the side of the road where she saw a green bench. She slowed down to a walk and turned around. She plopped herself on the bench, breathing heavily and quick. She felt she was running out of air. This wasn't like her. Normally she would time her runs. As her breathing slowed and steadied she put her hands in her skirt pocket.

"Man. . . What is up with this place? What is up with me? Maybe I was imagining it." Said Native softily to herself as she blinked and was surprised with what she felt in her deck.

She brought it out and looked to it.

"How did my cards get in my pocket? I thought I was batteling." She said when she stopped.

The thought had never accurred to her. She paused for a moment trying to figure out what she just said.

"I was in a card battle right?" She asked softily and she began to look threw her deck.

Though she loved a few grass types, she mostily loved the dragons and fire types. Her most fav dragon is Salamance the fully evolved form of Bagon. She looked at Salamance and than Shellgon. Than it hit her. She was missing one card. The card she had put out in the battle in hopes to win.

"My Bagon. . . is missing? Did I get robbed?" She asked herself as she thought more about what she was missing in her mind.

Her thoughts now, were working on how she found herself in a field she never knew about, get attacked by pokemon, and how she remembered being in a battle. In all this, she wasn't paying attention to the rather large white building that had a pokeball on top of the front door and a sign reading Pokemon Center.

OOC: I'm going to get to the town just this once. Yes, I know I shouldn't rush things. Forgive me this time.

-- a few minutes after walking--

I had reached the entrance to the town I had saw. The town seemed quite large and peaceful. Taking in a big breath of air, I stepped into the town. Walking into the town, I glancing back and forth at the buildings. Suddenly, the shadow of a large bird flew over above me. I shielded my eyes from the sunlight and squinted to get a more clear view of what was above me. It looked like... a Pidgeot?!

"What in the..." I said with amazement as the bird pokemon flew off. There is live pokemon? But how? I had begun to wonder what world I was in. Without making anymore comments, I made my way towards the unusual building with a giant P in the middle of what looked like a pokeball. I knew it was a pokemon center but I still questioned what I saw. At the corner of my eye, I saw a young girl with wavy, auburn red hair. She was wearing a white, long sleeved blouse with a light tan sailor top, a knee high, light tan skirt and white socks with light tan slipper shoes. Thinking she was a local of the town, I approached her.

I asked, "Um... Hello there. My name is Ryo Sasaki. I hate to be impolite but do you know where this is?" As I finished my question, I heard something. I turned around towards the direction of the panicking and screams of a young man. A police officer was also with him. I wonder what's eating him... I thought. Suddenly, I felt a twinge in my right hand. I impulsively reached for my deck of cards located in a dark blue deck holder strapped to the right of my right thigh. I scanned through the cards. I counted only 59 cards of the 60 there was. My Squirtle card had disappeared leaving no trace of it. But where did it go? It couldn't have dropped or anything... I decided that panicking like the boy would do me no good. I turned my attention back towards the girl because it would be impolite to just appear and disappear.

"Larvi!" Larvitar exclaimed with joy as it bounced around Mike as they walked down the cobblestone road.
"You sure are full of energy, arent you?" Mike said, rolling his eyes. He looked down the road to see a small town. "Hmm...we should go there." He decided.
"Larv." Larvitar agreed, shaking its head up and down.

The town wasn't very far away. After only a few minutes of walking, Mike and Larvitar had arrived at the outskirts.
"It's bigger then I originally thought." Mike said, looking up at the tall buildings that stood before him. Suddenly, he heard a rustling in the bushes. "Who's there?" He asked, turning around.
"Scythaa!" A voice said in response as a large Scyther sprang from the bushes, its scythe-arms aimed at Mike.
"Tar!" Larvitar exclaimed, jumping in front of Mike and deflecting the attack.
"Scy?" The Scyther asked, looking at the Larvitar that stood in its way. It began to laugh.
"What's so funny?" Mike asked, shaking his fist.
"I'm sorry." Came a man's voice. "My Scyther was just laughing at how pathetic your Pokemon is." A man that looked to be in his mid twenties stepped out from behind a tree. The tree shadowed most of his figure, but Mike could make out that it was a fairly tall man-maybe about 6'5". He could also make out an old-fashioned adventurer hat atop the man's head.
"What do you want?" Mike asked. "Who are you?"
"That is not your concern." The man replied as he lifted his arm, which was holding a Pokeball. In a flash of light, he returned his Scyther. "Return your Pokemon. It's not a good idea to be walking around with them in broad daylight."
"Why not?" Mike asked, confused.
"On this side of town, the crime rate is pretty high...over 40 pokemon thefts just last week." The man replied.
"Why are you telling me this?" Mike questioned.
"Return your Pokemon." The man repeated.
"I...uh...I don't think I can." Mike said as he realized that he had no Pokeballs. "You might find this hard to believe, but...this Larvitar kinda...came from a card. In my world, Pokemon is just a card game."
"And that's exactly why I'm helping you." The man said, a smirk on his face. "I know where you came from, and I know how you got here."
"Care to fill me in, then?" Mike asked, still very confused.
"In due time..." The man said as he turned to walk away into the forest of trees behind him. "One more thing. That Larvitar card IS your Larvitar's Pokeball." He said. "I shall see you around."
"Wait!" Mike shouted. He ran around the side of the tree to catch up to the man, but he was gone.
"Larvi..." Larvitar said, also confused as to what was going on.

Native blinked and turned to look at the boy who just approached her. She slowily gave a gentle glare as she tried to make him out. He seemed okay and he really wasn't harming her or seemed offensive.

"Oh, nice to meet you. I'm not sure what you're talking about." She said in her calmest and nicest voice.

She deicided to not say her name for fear of him might knowing of her. . . reptutation. She turned hearing the scream and than saw the officer approach the boy. She narrowed her eyes. "That looks like. . ." She thought to herself when she looked up at the young boy.

"Oh, gomen. I have no ideah what this place is. Actually I had a weird thing just happen to me today. It was freaky. I'm still trying to figure out what happened. All I remember. . . I think. . . I was in a card battle. . . And than I found myself on the grass. . . Than I saw two of the strangest creatures. . . Creatures that shouldn't exist." She exclaimed.

"Pokemon are not real! They can't be. There is no logic explaination!" She said her voice raising a little to be a firm sound.

She clutched her fists as she just showed a little hostility which was very dangerous. She closed her eyes and calmed herself down taking in deep breaths. At that moment, hearing the voice of Native suddenly change brought out the blueish-green, wingless dragon running towards them.

"Bagon!" It shouted in anger as it had it's head down for a headbutt to the young man.

Native gasped seeing the creature after hearing the name and quickly stood up.

"There! See! A pokemon! It's not real!" Shouted Native as Bagon suddenly skidded to a hault.

It tilted it's head confused at Native's voice.

"Ba?" Asked the pokemon as Native just blinked, standing there.

"Please tell me you're seeing this." Said Native looking at Ryo.

I stared at the little Bagon. I was quite shocked that there was a real live... pokemon standing in front of me.
"Yes. I am seeing what you are seeing." I said back to the girl. "That Bagon seems to like you, I think." I lowered myself until I positioned myself in front of the small bagon. I patted its head once.

"Well. Looks real to me." I said to the girl rising back up towards her level. The bagon gave me a look of confusion. I just smiled at it. I then noticed that the girl never gave me her name. I decided not to force her if she didn't want to tell me. I mean who would tell you your name if you were forced to do so.

He blinked some more as he replied then "Well you see Officer...i'm not from here, i come from a different place, but are you really real?" He began to poke Jenny all over checking her all over. "Hey!, stop doing that, i can arrest you for assulating a Police Officer!" He then exclaimed as he stopped and moved back to the front of her "I'm sorry, its just where i'm from Pokemon arn't real and neither are you...thats why i was checking...where exactly am i?" Officer Jenny tilted her head some as she looked to him. "Your in one of the most famous towns, this is the home to Professor Roberts(named after my Fav IT Teacher at college XD) shes one of the most famous Porfessor's almost as famous as Professor Oak, she hands out starter pokemon to new trainers, i'll let you off this time because your a kid." He nodded some. "Thank you Officer, thank you for telling me all this information, i won't forget it." He then noticed the boy and the girl as he went up to them and exclaimed. "Hey are you two from...earth?, you don't look like your from here" he exclaimed some more.

Native watched Ryo and than the Bagon who than walked over to Native and turned around to stand next to her left leg. Native just blinked.

"So. . . If this little creature is real than. . ." She said when she noticed the boy heading towards them.

"You guys must think me very rude. My name is. . ." She paused for a moment and than looked to Ryo. "Nate." She replied.

She hated being called by her nickname, but it was a name that no one knew of. Certainly not one that would belong to the tough, rough, school girl who seems to get into trouble becuase of her strong sense of justice, or to be more spacific, her reputation. She than looked to him.

"Yes. I'm from Tokyo Japan." She replied though that was almost a lie in itself.

She was born in New Meadow, Idaho and had moved around alot. Her parents finally settled in Tokyo, Japan where they crashed on a plane. Since than, she's been calling Japan her home.

"And I guess this is Bagon. What did Officer Jenny want?" She asked softily hopeing she may have shed light a little on what was going on.

Unfortunatily, she was calm and relaxed now, but her mind began to wonder. Wonder if they were the only ones or if there was more. And why were they brought here to a place that isn't supposed to exsist. For what purpose would one of the best card players in Japan, be needed in a place full of pokemon? She said Japan because that was her goal. Than once becomming the best, she would go for the universal championship.

Bagon just stood there watching Nate seeing her look of being far off.

"Bagon." It replied.

"Oh i'm sorry for being rude, my name is Ryakugen, but people usually call me Ryaku, i'm also from Japan..the more lower parts of it though" Simmilarly to Nate he didn't originate from Japan as he was panting a bit. "I've been told to head to a lab of some sort, would you two like to come with me, the Officer said this Professor might know why were here...but that Police Woman looked alot like Officer Jenny, and wha?!, thats a Bagon...."

((OOC: Okay, I was waiting for the others to post, but i guess I'll go ahead and post seeing as it already has been about 3 days.))

IN: Native smiled sweetily as she was glad to have made two friends, as long as she doesn't know about her rept. The new boy said he was also from Japan, If he is in the same City, it's most likely he would have heard about a certain school girl who was always getting into fights and being expelled from school. So many times this has happened that she'd have to be forced to change schools because they school board refuses to take her.

"Nice to meet you two." Said Native as Bagon growled to Ryaku when he asked about Bagon being a Bagon.

"Yeah. . . If you can see it, than. . . I know it's real. Unless this is just a nightmare and I'm waiting to wake up." Said Native as she heard about a professor.

"Well, let's go than. Um. . . and I think that was Officer Jenny Ryaku." Said Native.

She decided she'd wait for him to lead the way. She glanced down to Bagon who looked up to her with what looked to be a smile. A sort of smile that made her feel uncomfortable. The smile of her thoughts that Bagon is thinking, yum, dinner time. She giggled nerviously to Bagon.

"So, let's go before it eats me." Said Native as she started to walk on not knowing where she was going.

She had turned left and walked along side the road. Bagon blinked in confusion to Native's eating her comment. Bagon growled a little and followed after Native.

He blinked some as he wondered why she was behind him. "Erm...why are you waiting for me to go ahead...i have no idea where i'm going, i'm just as confused as you, although the name sounds fermiliar, to a girl who kept getting thrown out of school....." - (sorry bout being short kinda not feeling well.)

OOC: Sorry for the 5 day absence. I have been quite busy with other pressing things at the moment but now I'm back.

IC:
Hm... So her name is Nate... and she's from Japan and his name is Ryaku and is also from Japan. Wow I thought.

"So... we are going to Professor Oak's then, eh? Where in the heck are we in the first place?" I asked both though knowing they also were clueless as I was. I had begun to follow them for no reason at all. I just felt we were suppose to go together. I scratched my head and stood there for a few seconds.

Nate giggled nerviousily as Ryaku seemed to figure her out. Or maybe she was just imagining it.

"Well. . . I guess we could always wonder around." Said Nate as Bagon looked around while waiting on the others.

"Or we could just ask someone from here." Said Nate as she looked around.

Being tall, it seemed that the walking crowd was avoiding them. Was it because of her height or was it that she looked like a girl who'd be bad trouble. Or maybe it was because their were three complete strangers in their town just standing their and slowily looking like they have no ideah what to do. She hoped it wasn't her as she always does.

"Bagon." Said the little dragon as it jumped up to get Nate's attention.

"What's up?" She asked as Bagon turned and pointed to a rather large building.

It looked to be the biggest. Bagon turned and walked toward it as Nate just stood their blinking blankly. Bagon turned it's head back to them.

"Bagon." It said as he jestered it's tiny arm to the come movement and again pointed to the building.

It walked further away from them urging them to follow it.

"What do you suppose is up with Bagon?" Asked Nate.

"I'll guess he wants us to go to that building. Maybe it'll help us out since we have no leads anywhere." I answered Nate's question. "We might seem strange to just stand here all day and look suspicious so I suggest we follow the Bagon. There might be some food to." I added as my stomach started it's talking frenzy by growling quite loudly. I placed a hand over my stomach and laughed as I followed the Bagon.

As I walked towards the building the Bagon pointed too, I peered back and asked the two, "You guys comin'?" I paused a moment to await an answer.

He laughed a bit as he leaned onto Nate's back as he grinned into her face "Your Bagon sure is smart ain't he" As he kinda pushed her along with himself as they followed along with the Bagon. "So are you really that girl that kept getting thrown out of schools for behavior?" He asked softly, since he was very curious, considering she was a very cute girl.

((OOF: sorry I've been away. I'm back though and up and running. Um. . .I'm going to post one line and than edit because everytime I do my post after I'm done, it logs me out automatically. So yeah.))

IC:
Nate turned her head at feeling Ryaku's weight on her back and gave a slight surprised look with a slight blush at how close he was to her face. She narrowed her eyes a bit and stepped to one side to make him stumble for leaning on her.

"First of all Ryaku. . . He is a she and second of all, Bagon is not my pokemon." She said as she looked ahead of her and started walking.

"Infact. . . I don't ever recall capturing a Bagon or even owning a pokeball." Said Nate thinking about something else while saying something different.

She than moved her eyes to glance at Ryako slightly shocked at his next question.

"Yeah, we're comming." Said Nate as she closed her eyes and moved her head down to the ground a bit.

"I. . ." She said softily as she opened her eyes but continued looking down to the ground.

"I think. . . She's missunderstood by the dean of students. She's said to be very powerful, strong, and very graceful. Not to mention I heard from guys that she's a looker, but everyone fears her. I like to think. . . I am her, but. . ." She hesitated and looked up to the sky having a gentle smile.

"I'm not as powerful or strong as she is. Let along a looker like her." She giggled nerviously.

"Any how. . .I'm flattered you think that." She said as Bagon turned her head to glare at Ryako.

She than stopped and stepped to one side of the door and nodded once folding her little arms, but kepted her glare on Ryako.

"Oh. . . Wait a minute." Said Nate stopping infront of the doors.

"If this is Professor Oak's Lab. . . And Professor Oak is the one we're suppose to meet. . . Isn't his lab in Pallet Town? And if that is true than that means. . ." Said Nate turning around to look at the town once more.

Yet, she was also deep in thought of how she got here and why. She wasn't thinking about the cuteness of the two boys she's met so far. Her jade green eyes scanned everything.

"It's like the show right?" Asked Nate turning to look at the others.

((OOC: Sorry if I get your names mixed up. I'm trying not to. lol. Not a very good memory.))

OOC: Heh. It's okay. You haven't even mentioned my name yet so you wouldn't mix it up.

IC:
"I'll assume it is like the T.V. show." I answered Nate. "However, I also assume this is not Pallet Town. This town somehow isn't familiar to me. The Professor's lab is atop a hill with a pretty large pokemon outdoor facility." After saying that, I had begun to think about random things. It still stuck in my head but I still wondered why am I here and how did I even get to this place. Suddenly something popped into my head.

"Wait. I overheard Officer Jenny say something about this being the hometown of some famous professor.... though I forgot that professor's name..." I said.

Then turning my attention to Ryaku, I asked, "Hey Ryaku, didn't Officer Jenny tell you something about the professor when she was talking to you before?"
