Pokemon Nicknames in the Anime

We've all seen the occasional nicknamed Pokemon in the anime. This thread is for discussing nicknamed Pokemon in the anime. The most notable, in my opinion, is Ritchie, who nicknames all his Pokemon. Sparky and Zippo are my personal favorites of his.

My personal favorite of all nicknamed Pokemon I've seen is Dr. Abby's Delcatty, nicknamed Johnny. While Delcatty isn't very good in the games, Johnny just presents such an impressive role, in my opinion.

So, what are your favorite nicknamed Pokemon in the anime? Are there certain Pokemon you believe should or shouldn't have nicknames? Would you change any of the nicknames that exist? Discuss!

I liked it when Ritchie nicknames his Pupitar "Cruz." I didn't like "Zippo" for his Charmeleon.

It is 100 percent Zippo, i just love the name a lot

I think Ash should have nicknamed at least a few of his Pokemon, or Iris for that matter

Nope,except that a few trainers (like Ash and Iris) should nick name their Pkmn
