2nd Gen Pokemon on gamboy color

Hey guys,

The other day i was going through the attic sorting garbage from things to keep and i found one of the old school gameboy colors, i was over the moon. All the hours i have spent playing on Pokemon yellow, blue and red brings back so many good memories and how me and my brother would fight over the games and gameboy color back in the day, good old times. Then it was like them times got forgotten sad when you think about it. Anyway when i got it out turned it on it was dead so i replaced the batteries and the truth that i never wanted has come... the gameboy color itself is dead :( (it's been a long time) I know no one can fix these anymore being as they are really old and no one deals with them anymore which i am guttered about. So i started looking online for gameboy color for sale, used gameboy colour for sale and to be honest after speaking to the owners they are all in rather bad condition. Is there any chance at all we would be able to find a new one these days or maybe one that has been really looked after? The gameboy would be something i would pass down to my kids in the future so they can see what i grew up on.

And while i am here what is the new Pokemon Go hype all about? everyone is going crazy about this app/game. I was reading literally people where getting set up and robbed someone got hit by a car... getting a little crazy for a game. Remember when you could sit down and play a game hahaha
Any suggestions for special shops or websites would be greatly appreciated

So you don't have to read any further i have found the answer on amazon and when looking on there, I also found quite a selection of gameboy's on https://www.forsale.co.za check it out tell me what you think of the site

Sorry to hear it ended up like that.

I'm not sure of many places but I know eBay has had unopened older tech, but it's expensive!

You will more likely one day come across a decent used one. They exist, because I own one myself!

I remember playing Pokemon Yellow on my GBC as well :') Good times..

As is turns out i have seen the ebay page and what they have is not so bad i just want the right one haha. But i never though of amazon what a great idea i will have to check that link out thanks.

Amazon was a winner got a couple like new gameboys on there but they are up market!! i will keep searching to find the best 1 now thanks everyone
