it's a free game in whole

there is in-game currency, however. refer to the first post, kthxbye
 
either way its still going to cost and windows server wont work has to be win xp for now for the server
the client will run on anything
as long as it has winsock capabilities

Just finished the pokedex

i've got an idea and 2 question
idea:
have you ever played runescape
in runescape the give holdiday items away during holidays wouldn't it be fun to give away hoen pokemon(or johto) or to give away tickets of some sort with which you can catch 1 hoen pokemon(again or johto)
if this is alread posted sorry

question 1:
can you place a christmas tree in your house during christmas or something else with a other holiday


question 2:
what colors wil the pokemon be because you say in 7 colors

In fact, Shinies seem to be needed in each Pokemon game ever. This game could even have a Shiny count.

He meant the trainer.Well, I think. I can't really awnser that question, that's what I heard though.

Anyway I sent you a PM to BlackSprite - I feel I can contribute on the graphic side of the game, like the GUI and such. Good luck, and like someone said earlier - Getting this far and then quitting would be silly, go for it mate.

Already under consideration
although doing that would require an update off all the clients to accept a new pokemon not to mention that each pokemon brings a slight chage to the battle system
this may be closer to the release of a major game update which may or maynot include other regions

The 7 colors refers to the trainer sprites
shineys will not apear the the beta release but s shedualed for the official public release

in the first post (i think) you said that you need to buy a house from someon or something like that but where do you start then

and are there secret bases or are the player housing or what ever it is called the replacements for the secret bases

First were not replacing anything we making

There are no secret bases's
can you imagine what that would cause

im going to add this to the first post beacuase im forever answerering this question
in the beginig you are given a cheap apartment out of the kindness of the aparment owners heart to give begining trainers a room and shelter whilest they train. this cannot be sold, traded or in anyway else used to generate Yen
 
with replacements i meant if you are going to do the house in place of the secret bases

do you have a date that you are working to get the game done or are do you just see when it is done almost and the set a date (sorry you must get this kind of questions a lot)

and are you still looking for spriters becuase i can do a little spriting i am not very good but i can do it a little

you people are expecting WAY too much of a MMORPG, especially in it's beginning stages.

Guy 1: But you pulled out a level 67 pokemon on a level 34! cheater!
Guy 2: I get the base still.
*end record*
The rest is chaos.

Oh, and when you said Yen, you meant Poke?(currency.)
 
Yen is Japanese money ^_^.
 
and if you look at the games the money symbol is yen Y with line throught it
so we thought we'd keep the same currency
seeing as 200 yen for a pokeball is about $2

as for blaziken_boys chaos theroy you forgot the part were they both call the police
and we have to dispacth ppl to sort it out in the end i take the base

Major bug fixes and optrimazations to to metion mutliply syntax error fixes
item system about 50% done
