We have completed just over 44% of the game, still a lot to do though... so no, the game is not finished, also blacksprite mentioned earlier that MMOs dont normally get released till they are almost nearly finished...

the problem being as it may be difficult to download?

We could sell CDs to those 56K users (such as me) who dont want to wait for the 80 or so megabytes to download... like NZD$2-5... help with funding the website.

I have an idea! New reigons,a boat making system in a way,like you can buy or find things like boards and beds and windows and huge curtains to make a boat,so they could crash,and you can be stranded.Then you could make a new one!

Those Pokemon designs aren't just usable in any product. If I sold really popular fake Pokemon toys that were very close to the originals, I'd get sued to death. There are trademark issues with marketing a product under the Pokemon brand, too, especially when you're in the same space (video games). None of these other ROM hacks and custom games are for sale.

We didn't say THE GAME was for sale did we, just the CD with the game on it.
It is only illegal to do this if you buy a CD, copy it 20 times and sell it to earn your money back, this is because the people you sell it to wont buy the program from the company, in this case Nintendo wont earn a cent anyways, so they arent loosing, which is the reason the law is in place...

We havent stolen their plot concept, MMOs dont have a plot other than Pokemon trainer, goes to gyms to get badges, goes to pokemon league. But the user doesnt even have to follow that plot, they can be many things from a farmer to a captain of a ship...

Sorry, if you crashed in the middle of the ocean, and you didnt have a pokemon who knew surf... then you would die and that would ruin the game... you can build a boat, but not as complex as what you described, and you cant crash.
And no sorry, we havent built any more regions yet, we are only making the one region first.

Anyway,it would be like if you crash,there are lifeboats that go slower (they must be rowed) and about the reigon,can you add more islands to it? I'd hate using a boat only to get to an island to catch pokemon or fight a Gym Leader.
Anyway,new idea. You could trade pokemon and sell eggs,the rarer,the better stuff you get. Example:
Blaziken-Swampert,Sceptile,Charizard,Typhlosion,Meganium,Venasaur (or Ivysaur,whatever the 3rd evolution is),Blastoise and totodile's 3rd evolution.
In short,if you trade a Blaziken,you can get any other 3rd evolution of a pokemon that is Starter.Eggs willl just get you big bucks.

By the way,if my ideas are too hard to implement ito the game,just tell me.

We may think of it, but in the originals, you just surfed to get to islands to fight gym leaders... we dont want to abolish surf, but to make more story plots to follow, such as a shipping company, you dont buy a boat just to go to islands (you can) but you can earn money off it...

First, you can trade pokemon, but you can only negotiate to other players, if you trade with an NPC (I dont know that you can do this) you will get what they give you...

Also, again you can only sell eggs at a negotiated price to other players, to NPCs, only what they give you...

Both of the above sentences include Pokemarts and other stores as NPCs

This whole "selling time" is BS.

Selling time is BS eh? well if you buy the CD, you arent sitting in front of your computer, instead you have time to do other things, thats what mature people call "selling time", and people do it, you can pay someone to download programs for you computer (freeware only) and they will put it on a CD and charge you accordingly...

Why are you selling time instead of the game?

Because we can't (legally) sell the game, you've already covered that well enough in previous posts.

Is Nintendo selling you time when you buy a GameCube?

No, you cant sit and wait for hours and then magically a GameCube will appear (trust me, I've tried this...LOL) they are doing the same thing Sony and Microsoft are doing when they sell you a PS2 or Xbox/X360, they are selling you a gaming console, something you cant sit and wait for to get for free. (Honestly, peoples logic these days...)
