Dunno if i mentioned this. But the game will require Direct X 9, or later, to be installed.
On release I'll post a link to it or included it with the game.

Most older hardware should support this and newer ones.
The game will check what your GFX card can do and do those operations on the GFX card and Direct X Software Emulate the rest.

not that long a time compared so some other games. i'd be stoked if some of hte other games i'm watching would come out this early.

anyways, blacksprite, hows the game been going since the last update?
 
This thread is my post count.

The idea was to find people to help develop it. That's the main reason posted.
The second was to build hype.
Its not a MMO without the masses of people. It would be very fun with just 2 people walking around the whole world.

Update well lets see.
Just implementing a really nice rendering implementation of direct x.
So that if it future we can swap out direct x and move over to other platforms.

But yeah I'm pretty busy at the moment.
Just have to write a theses on Violence causes Video games.

I apologize for my ignorance, but this game will feature the first-gen Pokemon, yes?
 
he said a couple of weeks ago that it would be released sometime in jan-feb of next year [or at least around those months]

anything about him releasing in the next few days IS a dream, sorry to say
 
it probably would be easier just to subscribe to the thread, or make a note on your calendar for January. he might not remember to notify you, because he's proabbly going to be very busy

Yes it is first Gen.

Here is my reasoning behind it.
Its just too ridiculous to cram them all in one region.
Having more regions to begin with wouldn't be very good either, as people would be too spread out, and it would take longer to develop and possible spread out our attention and we wouldn't do the game justice.
