Player wakes up

Player can interact with stuff in room, PC.

When you come down:

Mom: Happy birthday, (name)! Your dad left this for you

(name) got Pokegear!

Mom: Shall I read the instructions?

If player says yes, Mom will explain how to access the clock and the map

If player says no, we go ahead and set the clock.

Mom: There we go, all set!

Mom: Oh, Professor (professor's name) wanted to see you, (name)...why don't you go see him/her?

Player goes outside

Rival: !

Rival: Morning, (name!)

Rival: If you're going to see the professor, that means s/he wants to send you off on a journey!

Rival: And if you're on a journey, you're likely to find a bunch of cool stuff!

Rival: You'll need something to hold it all, so have this!

(name) got bag!
 
What are you going to name the professor?
