CHARACTER NAME:Armando Garcia
GENDER:Male
AGE:18
APPEARANCE:Armando is latin, 6'1" and has an average body type. He has short, black and messy hair. He wears a white t-shirt (which he wears over a black long sleeve shirt), black jeans, white gym shoes and tops it off with his favorite white fitted baseball cap.
PERSONALITY:Armando is normally calm but under certain circumstances can be very eager to achieve his goals
HISTORY:Armando was born in Saffron City in Kanto. He has always wanted to be a Pokemon trainer but hasn't been able to due to his lack of free time. Now at the age of 18 Armando learns about a new league opening in the Orava Islands and is excited to finally start his journey.
PREFERRED STARTER:Growlithe
HOW OBTAINED:One day while throwing out the trash Armando heard something rummaging through the trash cans. As he walked closer he realized it was a Growlithe! The Growlithe was abandoned by his trainer and was in bad shape so Armando took it in and nurtured it back to normal. Once back to perfect health, Armando tried to return the Growlithe back to the wild but it refused to go. Since then Armando has been training and preparing the Growlithe for the very moment they would begin their journey.
GROUP CHOSEN:Armando hopes to join the group heading East towards a meadow.
 
In front of Sergio stood a small red coloured worm. Although the worm was predominantly red, it had a cream underbelly. The pokemon had
a sharp stinger on the top of its head, as well as two on its rear. The pokemon also had small spikes running all the way down its body.

Wurmple

"Okay, my first battle in the orava isles and also my first battle with my newly hatched scyther", Sergio mumbled he looked at the pokemon
and he grabbed for his belt and trew the pokeball on it in the air. "Go scyther, time to battle", Sergio said, out of the pokeball
came a green bug pokemon it looked like a grasshopper, it flew directly into the air waiting for commands of her trainer.

"Use your quick attack", Sergio commanded his pokemon and he watched how his scyther charged into the wurmple with speed, it flew to a tree
and smashed at it. Right after the wurmple hit the tree she charged at scyther, but scyther dodged it. "Scyther use your vacuum-cut", Sergio ordered
his pokemon. Scyther made a fist and hit wurmple with it, but the wurmple became attached to scyther's fist due to it's vacuum. "Scyther fly up
high in the air and throw it done", Sergio commanded, Scyther flew up in the sky and threw the wurmple down, when down there was only
dust surrounding the wild wurmple, when the sight was covered they saw a knocked out wurmple.

"Good job, scyther you are even a bit stronger than your father", Sergio said praising his pokemon.

They were walking for quite a long time through the forest, scyther was out of his pokeball, just to spare some time for whenever a pokemon would
show up, they looked around and looked at the trees, it was so monotonous that Sergio thought that he was hardly going anywhere untill he
heard something it sounded like: 'krggg,krggg,krgg' and out of the bushes came....

An insectoid creature with mushrooms growing on its back crawled out of the bushes. The small pokemon was red in colour, and the mushrooms on the creatures back were also red with yellow spots...

Tyson sighed as the two pokeballs stopped moving, signifying a successful catpure. Gligar held Girafarig's pokeball tenderly as Tyson picked up the Zangoose's pokeball, unaware of the odd looks Gligar, Aron and Snorunt were giving him for having captured their enemy. The other Zangoose, having noiced that their leader was taken, ran off with limps, much to the other pokemon's relief.

"Come on everyone," Tyson ordered as he turned to his pokemon. The teenager felt his brow rise as the flying scorpion held the psychic types pokeball safely. "Come on Gligar," he said, holding up an arm so the poison type could rest on his arm while still holding the pokeball.

"Gli!" Gligar said in thanks as it hopped on the outsretched arm. Giving a small grin to his pokemon, Tyson rushed off, thankful that while they had battle all of those pokemon, the battles had led them closer to the town. He barely even looked at the houses or even how the big or small the town was before bursting into the red and white building that was the pokemon center.

"Nurse Joy!" he barked, causing the pink hairded nurse and the other trainers inside the building to jump.

"Goodness!" she gasped as she held her chest. "What on earth is it?"

"There was huge battle against this Zangoose gang, and my Girfarig is really hurt."

Nurse Joy sighed before gesturing for him to return all of hs pokemon. From the looks of the other trainer's faces, they had fought against the savage gang. "That group... they've caused so much trouble," Nurse Joy said before going a little wide eyed as she looked at the pokeball that housed the unconcious Zangoose. She looked at him briefly before saying, "Please recall your Gligar and have it give me the hurt pokemon."

"Gligar," Tyson said softly as he gave it a small nudge.

Uneasily, the flying scorpion handed the pokeball over before looking at the ground. "Gar..."

"Don't worry about it, Gligar," Nurse Joy said, still a little uneasy with holding onto Zangoose. "We'll have your friend healed in no time. If you would like to be healed as well, please retu..."

"Gar!" Gligar snapped as he shook his head, interrupting the nurse.

She gave a sigh but simply handed him a few bright colored pills. "Eat these, at least. They'll heal you, but not as good as the healing machine. Now please, stay in the waiting room as I bring your Girfarig into the back," she said after scanning the pokemon.

"Is it that bad?" Tyson said with a wince.

"Your pokemon will be in extensive care for the day, but it should be a quick heal," Nurse Joy said with a kind smile. "And before I go, welcome to..."

PERSONALITY:Armando is normally calm but when a challenge comes up can be very competitive, some times a little too competitive, and can be very eager to achieve his goals. Despite his competitiveness he has a good heart and always sees what's right for everyone including the pokemon.
HISTORY:Armando was born in Saffron City in Kanto. He has always wanted to be a Pokemon trainer but hasn't been able to due to his responsibilities. Growing up, Armando's father was never around so he had to work at the local shop he and his mother owned so that his mother wouldn't have to work so hard. Now at the age of 18 that "little" shop has become very successful and Armando is finally able to start his journey. As he learns about a new league opening in the Orava
Islands Armando prepares for this journey in a new and marvelous place.

"Wow a Paras", Sergio said looking at the mushroom pokemon, "Scyther, leave it unharmed and let's go it is not worth battling"
Scyther nodded and they walked even further, untill they decided to take a rest on the floor, they build a tent and slept in it to
call it a day.

The next morning Sergio woke up and he went outside, when al of the sudden he heard the sound of an acoustic guitar, he went to
his tent, he woke Scyther and he followed the sound of the guitar, he walked through several bushes making sounds as if pokemon
were coming out of the bushes.

"Who is there", The person who was playing guitar asked. Sergio appeared out of the bushes and cleaned his clothes, by whiping his
clothes. "My name is Sergio, I heard you play guitar", Sergio said the person. "Oh, Hello my name is david, yes I am a musician slash
pokemon trainer, and you", David asked Sergio. "I am an quite experienced pokemon trainer", Sergio replied.

"Well since we both are trainers, and our eyes met so it must be time for a battle", David told Sergio looking at him. David had a white
skin colour, with green eyes and blond hair he has a blue jacket and blue jeans with white sneakers. "Yeah, sure it would be a great way
to start a day", Sergio replied.

"Okay, good luck, come on out ponyta", David threw up a pokeball and with a shining white light a gracefull fire pokemon came out.

About an hour after birth, its fiery mane and tail grow out, giving it an impressive appearance.


"Wow a ponyta, come on out scyther", Sergio said, he closed his pokedex and threw out scyther.
"Cool, let's commence the battle, ponyta use flame wheel", David said.
"No fair, you started too soon, use quick attack to dodge the attack", Sergio said.

Ponyta was surrounded by flame and ran toward scyther, just when Ponyta was about to hit scyther, it left a white slip-stream behind by
flying upward.

"That was fast, use growl ponyta and after use your flame wheel again", David complimented Scyther and commanded Ponyta.
"Quick attack before it growls", Sergio ordered his scyther.

Scyther left another white slip-stream while flying toward Ponyta, just before it hit ponyta, ponyta growled and scared scyther leaving
scyther open for the flame wheel, again the Ponyta got surrounded by flame and ran toward the scyther which was defenceless,
this attack was super effective.

"Oh no scyther are you alright can you battle", Sergio asked his pokemon and it nodded. "Okay, then use your quick attack to get behind
ponyta and then use vacuum-wave", Sergio told his pokemon
"Use your tackle to finish this battle", David said.

The scyther used it's quick attack and for the third time (yawn) left behind a white slip-stream and got behind ponyta, but Pontya turned around
and tried to charge scyther at full power, but before it got to scyther, scyther created a fist and he hit ponyta, this created an explosion that
made both pokemon slam at a tree in two different directions.

"Okay scyther for the last time quick attack", Sergio told his scyther.
"dodge and use tackle", David said.

Scyther created an slip-stream and quickly ran toward ponyta, a few seconds before scyther would hit ponyta, ponyta charged at scyther, scyther
dodged it in a gracefully manner spinning around and get just underneath ponyta and scyther turned around and slammed into ponyta knocking
it out.

"Ponyta return, great battle that was Sergio, concider me your rival, I'm of to search for the rest point", David said and he walked away.

"That was a nice battle scyther, I hope we will have nicer battles in the future with lots of new friends", Sergio told his scyther, his scyther smiled
at Sergio.

They were a half an hour further in the forest with Scyther hoping on trees, when scyther got hit by a pokemon high up in the tree, it was a.....

The small bird Pokémon had dark blue feathers with patches of red on its chest and forehead. The bird also possessed two sharp tail feathers. Its beak was somewhat short, but pretty wide. The bird was looking at Scyther aggressively, obviously unhappy that Scyther had disturbed the birds nest...

The road to the next town was pretty long, even though both the twon name and the forest name were the same. Kyle was walking alone now, just the way he liked it. But he was not technically alone, because people were passing by the forest to also head where he was going, Maritime Town. But he was walking with nobody by his side, which he wanted because he was antisocial and the quiet type. He was hoping to find something interesting soon, which was possible because on roads and paths, Pokemon can be found lurking along when people can least expect a suprise from one. Kyle was excited to using his Houndour for the first time, but he was told that Houndour had a few moves. Each of them he had no idea what they did, but his dad had told him what they were so he wouldn't have to get confused in a battle when attacking. The town was nearing closer, as the path from the town was not as long as it looked. It was a pretty view, with plenty of green trees and stuff that a garden would have. Nearby, there were people who were fighting Pokemon in the wild. Kyle was intrigued by how they were battling, he smiled. And with a Pokemon like Houndour, Kyle expected good stuff. There was a bit of wind in the weather, and Kyle couldn't tell a rustling bush from having a Pokemon in it or just from the wind blowing. But there was a rustle coming from a bush, one that was pretty big and looked more like a hedge. Kyle was distracted by this, and looked over in hope that it was a Pokemon, as he could tell a battle for the first time was what he would enjoy.​

Kyle saw a small bird walk slowly out of the hedge. The pokemon was predominantly bown in colour and had rough plumage. It had abeak shape similar to that of raptors, three-taloned, light pink feet and wings that were a reddish colour. The pokemon looked up at Kyle with a wild look in its eye...

"Well, I guess we're in the next town... Torrent Town," Tyson said with a small frown. With the way his pokemon were hurt, his words sounded bitter on his tongue.

"Gar..." Gligar said with a sigh as it raked its pincer over the water.
They were currently sitting at the beach, enjoying the view of the ocean. Despite the fact that he had been on the island, he had been in only dense forests and high mountains and odd little trails. Now they were simply trying to take in the sights while they waited. Girafarig's deep cut from that attack had hit a nerve, so it would take all of today for her to heel, then she would need a few days to heal. Pokemon were incredible healers, so it wouldn't be too long of a wait.

"Do you like her?" Tyson asked suddenly, turning his face away from Gligar's shocked one.

"G..ggl-li!" Gligar sputtered for a moment, looking completely frazzled before glaring at a laughing Tyson. "Gligar!"

Tyson continued to laugh for a minute before reducing his amusement to soft chuckles. "Sorry, Gligar," he apologized, "but you don't need to be so shy about it." Tyson pressed his face closer to Gligar's. "Was it love at first sight?" he teased.

"Glig gli!" Gligar laughed as it pushed Tyson away with his pincers, being sure to add an extra pinch into his trainer's skin.

"Ow," Tyson complained as he sucked his arm where there was a nice red spot. "At least you got your energy back," he muttered before he grinned and started looking around. "How about a battle to get our minds off things and to use up some pent up energy?"

"Gar gar," Gligar said eagerly as it pinched its pincers together and started looking around. "Gli!" the flying scorpion said eagerly and shot off into the air. It hovered over the ocean, nearer to the deeper part of the water, and looked down.

"What is it?" Tyson asked, trying to peer through the foamy water. The waves were rather rough, which was perfect for surfing or just having fun in the waves, but it was hard to pinpoint a pokemon. That is, until, it jumped high into the air, a fierce expression on its face as it tried to reach a gliding Gligar...

Gligar flew over the pokemon with a dejected look. Easily, it pointed its tail and fired a Poison Sting. The roange and white fish let out a loud cry as it flailed about in the water, churning it up and sending up a spray. With an angry glare, Goldeen dove into the water before shooting out, its horn glowing. "Gooold!"

"Glii," Gligar sighed as it simply used the air currents to go higher. With a disgusted look thrown at Tyson, almost as if it were his fault, Gligar dive bombed the water fish, its pincers drawn into an x. "Gliii!" Gligar cried as it smashed its X-Scissor attack into the Goldeen.

"Gol gol," Goldeen cried pitifully as it flopped in the water, seemingly disoriented. "Deen denn," it said continuiously as it began to send circular beams up at Gilgar, but all the flying scorpion did was glide higher up.

Tyson sighed and shook his head with a frown on his face. He really needed to find some stronger opponents. Really, his pokemon were at such high levels, save his two new members and Aron, but all he had found were first stage weaklings on this island. Tyson always assumed that the farther down the road of getting more badges, the stronger the pokemon. After all, this would be his fourth badge or something.

"Gligar, just use Poison Sting!" he called up at the pokemon, watching it fly lazily over the angry Goldeen as it tried to fire more Supersonic attacks.

"Gar!" Gligar called with a miffed face as it dove, pulling up just before it hit the water and skimmed the surface. Eyes glaring, the flying scorpion aimed its sharp tail and let loose. "Garr!" White needles shot out immediately, hitting the water pokemon just as it began to charge in an attempt to Horn Attack Gligar away, but Gligar's attack hit first.

"Goooldeen!" Goldeen cried as its fins beat against the water in a desperate attempt to stay afloat. it wasn't long before it began to sink, and after a moment of waiting, it didn't come back up, signifying it had been defeated.

"Gar," Gligar spat, clearlt irritated with the weak pokemon. Eyes suddenly shifting towards a dark shadow swimming through the water, Gligar aimed its tail and shot another Poison Sting. The shadow stopped moving, and Gligar grinned widely as the shape seemingly turned to face him, "Gar gar," Gligar called, gesturing to the shadow to come out, only to suddenly wish he hadn't as the shadow burst from the water at a monstrous speed and bashed right into him.

"Gligar!" Tyson shouted, watching wide eyed as his pokemon nearly fell into the ocean. Letting out a breath of relief as his pokemon caught himself before falling into the cold water, Tyson turned to the pokemon that attacked back, only to grin just as eagerly as his pokemon as he realized what it was.

"Glii," Gligar said in wonder, having never seen such a pokemon before. The star, after landing in the water, began to float lazily over the waves. With interest, Gligar landed on the star. "Gliiig lar liga!" GLigar said animatedly as he pokes the gem.

"Starrr..." the starfish said in a robotic tone. It had obviously given its piece of mind already when Gligar had attacked, but now that the flying scorpion seemed more curious than hostile, there was no point for the water type, that usually remain immoble, to take part in an unneeded battle.

"Glii," Gligar sighed after a minute, finally percieving that the water type didn't want to talk. Jumping off, it landed on a bemused Tyson's arm.

"Wow," he drawled. "What a battle."

"Gli!" Gligar said irritably before pointing towards the pokemon center. Tyson nodded in understanding.

"Right, right. Let's go see if they're all ok."

When the two finally reached the pokemon center, Nurse Joy was already at the front desk, several trays of pokeballs in front of her. "Oh, hello again!" she said cheerfully. "Your pokemon are fine now, but I suggest you let that Girafarig of yours rest a few days before going into battle." The last part was met with a stern look, which Tyson quickly nodded to.

As the pokeballs were handed over, Gligar looked over his trainer's shoulder to peer into the pokeball of Girafarig, a bright smile on its face. "Ga!"

"Alright everybody," Tyson said as he reached a nice, secluded area near the beach, well away from others. "Come on out!"

With a burst of white light, all of Tyson's pokemon appeared, but as soon as they were aware of who was with them, they got onto the defensive, glaring and hissing at Zangoose.

"Zang zagg," Zangoose said with a yawn as it waved them away, obviously thinking it was too good for them to even battle.

Aron simply scoffed and turned away, burying herself in the hot sand. Snorunt blinked in surise before waving excitedly to her new teammate before turning towards a glaring Girafarig. Charmeleon, on the other hand, was already lying on his stomach with a wide yawn. The fire type really didn't care.

"Alright, guys," Tyson said, "Zangoose is gonna be with us now." He was met with shrugs and a glare from Girafarig. Said pokemon turned away in a huff.

"Gar ga lig gli!" Gligar said excitedly as he bounced up and down infront of the pyschic type.

"Griaa," Girafarig said hesitently. All they could do was watch Girafarig turn to the head tail that she had, apparently have a conversation with it, before bowing her head at Gligar and saying, "Gifu."

The large smile that had been on Gligar's face remained frozen for a few minutes. When it became apparent that the flying scorpion was in too much shock to say anything, Girafarig gave them all apologetic looks, save Zangoose which she hissed at, before trotting away, obviously towards the grass path.

Tyson gapped. "Well, I've never released a pokemon like that before," he said slowly.

Gligar's body remained frozen, but the flying scorpion did fall face first into the sand, obviously crushed by her rejection.

Charmeleon and Zangoose on the other hand, were laughing their tails off, even going so far as to roll around and slam the ground with their claws.

"Snoo!" Snorunt admonished them before patting Gligar on the back. "Sno, sno, sno."

"I'm sorry Snorunt," Tyson said, leaning down to his pokemon. "There'll be other fish in the sea, right?"

Gligar looked towards the ocean before giving Tyson a 'What the hell?' kind of look. "Gliii," Gligar said dejectedly as he laid out on the sand.

Tyson scratched his head, unsure of what to do. "How about we just take a break?" he said to his pokemon, even if it was unneeded.

Aron was sound asleep in the sand. Both Zangoose and Charmeleon were playing the alpha act on each other. Snorunt was currently playing in the water and being washed away, only to be brought back to land by a Staryu that was possibly the same one from earlier and Gligar... well, he would live.

"So gym battlle later?" Tyson asked out loud with hope.

He recieved no answer. All his pokemon were too busy doing their own thing.
 
Name:Kanon (kay-nen) Proscano (pruhs-cah-no)

APPEARANCE:
Tall for his age.Long brown hair. Has rectangular glasses like the son off American dad, wears graphic tees, and shirts with bands like Queen,Black Sabbath, and Metallica on them, LOVES hoodies, Wears only jeans, nothing like sweats. Is extremely fit. Is Caucasian (white). I don't mean that in a racist way but simply that he's caucasian.

THE NEW HISTORY: A year has gone by since he's been living with Professor Oak. Kanon is now thirteen (13). He's caught every pokemon in Kanto and has his Shinx back. Still a level five from his history in Sinnoh. He has come prepared with many TMs/HMs from Sinnoh. He doesn't have every one but he has quite a few now. Going to the Orava Islands by Oak's Plane gives Kanon one thing to say: "LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!!!" ( READ ORIGINAL HISTORY TOO)

HISTORY:
Kanon Proscano is the child who has no one but his weak Pokemon as a friend.
His father and mother died in a car crash when he was only five. At that age, Kanon had already created a love of books, having been able to read at a 7th grade level. He retained everything he read and throughout his schooling had skipped 5 (individual) grades. Now, when he is supposed to be in 6th grade, he's in, well WAS supposed to be in, 11th grade. The reason he's not in 11th grade is because he had lived with his abusive uncle and an aunt who could care less about him. He ran away during the summer vacation following ninth grade, taking only his pokemon and a few cans of vienna sausage with him. Having lived at home his entire life, the 12 year old's pokemon was still a level five, as it had not fought any thing except it's shadow. He was born in Viridian City, while he lived in Rustboro City until he was 5, then he was taken to Lilycove City to live with his aunt and uncle. He has made it to Route 125 after a miracle happened when his pokemon somehow scared off a FREAKING GIANT Ursaring. He hopes to make it to Rustboro again, or at least make it to the Pokemon Daycare to see if they would take him in. His pokemon was given to him only three days before his parents died. Due to his amount of missed school days, as he had been gone for four months, his aunt and uncle were taken to jail. the Court System and the Government let HIM (Kanon) choose his home. He picked a home in Kanto with Prof. Oak. Oak took away his Shinx, being that it was a Sinnoh Pokemon and Kanon was in Kanto. He gave him a Pidgey, not willing to trade back until Kanon had the Pokedex filled and all 8 Kanto Gym Badges. Once Kanon got the badges and the Pokedex was filled, Kanon traded the Pidgey (which was now a Pidgeot) back for his Shinx.

Personality: Quick to anger, because of his bad past. Usually happy, as long as he has some friends with him. When he has no one with him he feels lonely. VERY,VERY,VERY, Bright. He knows nearly everything about nearly anything (arm nudge). Gets easily excited. Is almost always optimistic about something, even if it was the end of the world. Makes friends quickly due to his usually nice personality. A real bookworm. Has less fun in an arcade than in a library.

Character Name: Keiichi Tomozaku

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Appearance: He stands 5' 5" with dark brown hair and blue-green eyes and a burly 210lbs. He always has a five-o-clock shadow and a tidy, thin mustache. He prefers to wear comfortable jeans and tee-shirts, but he always has on a vest, a blue pokeball motif scarf, and brown loafers. He carries his belongings in a combination duffel bag instead of the traditional backpack.

Personality: Being so big, he grew up being kind and considerate to others, especially his Pokémon. He does however become very defensive whenever someone he's close to is bullied or threatened. He also tends to suffer from bouts of laziness from time to time.

History: The hospitals were full when his mother gave birth to him so he was actually born in a Pokémon Center. The first thing he saw was the Chansey nurse swaddling him, so he's always had a very close connection to all Pokémon. His hometown is the cozy community of Pastoria.

He always loved playing in the Pastoria Great Marsh with all of the other Pokémon, and he always got in for free as he never tried catching them. He always panicked whenever he sank into the marsh, but the Pokémon were there to help him out, strengthening his bond with them.

How Croagunk was obtained: From a young age, Keiichi always looked up to the Gym Leader, Crasher Wake. One day, he wandered into the Great Marsh to play, and had gotten lost. He called and called for Wake, and attracted the attention of a lone Croagunk. The Croagunk took him by the hand and led him out of the Marsh. Crasher Wake captured the Croagunk as soon as it wandered into the city, but it had developed a bond with Keiichi, so Wake bequeathed the Croagunk to him.
