Hello Pokemon fans, today The Pokemon Company International announced that a 4-episode mini series "Pokemon Origins" will air on November 15. As many of you probably know, the series will be based on the original Red and Blue games and feature the main protagonist "Red". I am organizing a movement on the three major Pokemon anime forums on Bulbagarden, Serebii, and Pokecommunity. The mission is to send letters to TPCi asking them to cast Veronica Taylor, known as the voice of Ash Ketchum, May, Delia and others, to play the role of Red.
Because older Pokemon anime fans who grew up in the time of Red, Blue, and the "Pokemon phenomenon" are well familiar with Veronica's talent on Pokemon, she can be considered an ideal candidate for the job. Whether or not she actually uses the "Ash" voice is ultimately up to her and TPCi, but you can specify you're preference in your letter.
It's quite simple; All you need to do is write a letter for your support to TPCi's mailing address at;

While "snail mail" is certainly the most effective, if you really don't want to or can't, you can go to their customer service (after maintenance is completed through Friday the 27th) at support.pokemon.com . First create an account and log in. then go to Ask a question -> general comments -> animation & movies and send your request there. Please keep your letter short, thoughtful, and mature.
The campaign will end in one week at midnight Oct 3, at which point forum admins can close the thread. In good faith of keeping this movement simple and non-controversial, I ask you to only post here if you are interested in participating. If this happens, it happens and if it doesn't, it doesn't. The point is in reaching out to TPCi and showing them we care, regardless of the outcome. Thank you and good luck everyone!
