yeah, i vote dysis, i want mew or jirachi to be a starting pokemon, becasue they do not evolve and they are very promising. or a better idea, start out with an egg! that would be interesting and hard to script out.
 
Legendary staters never make good starters.
Eggs aren't so hard to script out but how are you going to fight at first? Are ypou gonna walk around till it hatches? o_0
 
yeah good point about the legendarys, but yeah, if you had an egg, you would walk around going forward in the game (nograss yet,) then maybe when ever you want, script it to make the egg hatch and then fight... (CYndaquil egg)

edit: like i said before, I got cheesy programs to use right now, but heres an idea for heroine, when i get home tonight or tommorrow, i will make a better one but here it is and also, another idea, for the rival music, using team rocket music built in to ruby with sapy or something here; i have another idea that is already a sprite (that ive never seen before) from emerald that could be used for heroine

Hey instead of legendary starters u should make them start with Tyrogue

ooh yeah, does that mean i am too? and yeah tyrogue= great idea, you get the whole evoulution choice thing awesome!
 
Wait Charmaster what would make u a gym leader??? I think i missed something

It would be cool to have tyrogue as a starter but it would be cool if they made it so we had more control over who it evolved too instead of it just being based on there stats

We can change the way it evolves with a Hex-Editor.
A different name for each evo of Tyrogue.
 
skeetacular - yes you'll be a gym leader as long as one of your region names is chosen and it looks like it will be.

Charmaster - i will make you a gym leader if you do the following - finish the hero and heroine and make ur self a leader sprite and one for skeetacular (if he wants u 2)

Tyrogue sounds like a good idea if we make a femal 1 for girl trainers and a male one for boy trainers and they evolve differently depening on gender.
 
Omg that is a great idea with the gender thing...i would have never thought of that!!!!!!! Is it ok if I make my own sprite???????? It would probably be a recouler with some new things added

Would the gender of the tyrogue be determined by the gender of the trainer?????? Because tyrogue is only male!!!!!!! And would the gender of the tyrogue determine its evolution

originally, tyrogue is only male, but heck, y not change it, they don't call it a hack for their health. yeah, speektackular, you can make your own sprite, less work for me, and blaze, ill get right on it! (original was crappy...) plz, though, anyone got a good idea as for what i should do for heroine, tomboy, preppy, girly girl, goth, heck maybe even team rocket? and for the guy? i don't have much to work with here...

EDIT: When a spriter gets bored with no ideas, play...

We can make Tyrogue evolve with items. You can get one of the two items if you are a girl and the other one if you are a boy.
