I don't know guys. I really do not like the Tyrogue idea. I strongly recommend we make new starters, fire, water, and grass ones. It would definitely make the game seem like more of a legit Pokemon game.
 
I think this hack has bright future. I am looking forward to help with mapping.

kool, the screenies are from a city like pacifilog but with a gym!

edit: umm, do you all have a newer version of elitemap that works for emerald or what? if so can i have a copy?

Also, I think that instead of tyroge you could use Eevee and have a choice of which stone you want so you can evolve him/her to what you want.

Eevee is a sweet pokemon but with tyrogue it would be more of an challenge
 
I think that Evee is a good idea b ecause you could possibly find the stones on the way and then want to elvove the first one but then changer your ming, bit of a ming challenge there... and... I've seen male and female evees...
 
hey um what type of pokemon can i have for a gym leader??????? That will determine what my sprite looks like!!!!!! Hope it is ok if i put ure banner in my sig

Great hack guys. I've been following this hack for a little bit now, and I felt I just had to post something. Personally, I like Eevee better than Tyrogue, but Tyrogue makes more sense.
 
I personally do not like the idea of having a starter forced upon you.

I reckon it'll be better to do 3 starters that are ground related (Numel, Quagsire & Cacnea?) since the game is about Brendan screwing up and Groudon taking over (more or less).

But since the game is going to be set in a new region, I guess you can do what ever seems right - like maybe all water related starters, as the main goal could be to overturn Groudons reign of terror hehehe.

But other than that, it's a good looking hack (excellent maps) the story is good - definitely original I can say. I'll bet we'll see hacks inspired by this one with other legendaries out of control.

NOTE: Is it possible for myself to become a beta tester?
