Pokemon Path to Light or Darkness

Awaken from the darkness.

"Son wake up" a voice says as Grecko finally awakens from his long sleep. "Daaaad..." Grecko quietly said as he tried to sit up. "Ahh it's good to see you awake, we have to talk about something though" his father said as his eyes widened.

Grecko sat there starring at his father who he just previously had a battle to the death with, and wondered why he was still alive. "Beo is dead, Tai killed him.... and now he controls the two ledgendary beasts of the shadows, but Zypher believes that there is two separate ways to go back to the way Kanto was" Greckos dad says. "What!!! BEO IS DEAD?!?! Does that mean I can get rid of the darkness.." Grecko looked at his father excitedly waiting for his answers.

"No...you will never be able to get rid of the darkness, now that you are so far along with it.." He answers. "What...than why am i still alive...why didn't you let me die dad!!" Grecko yelled at his father with insanity. "Because you are my son and I could not let you die...plus your now an important factor in defeating Tai." Grecko's dad answered back.

"What...how am I an important factor?" Grecko asked. "Well...we believed that Beo could only truly be defeated by someone who has accepted the darkness...and we now know that it's true seeing as how Tai killed Beo. Now we know that there are three of you who went with the dark brotherhood and accepted the darkness. Professor Oak has told me that a boy named Shaun has decided to once again help us, but the boy named Max is still with the brotherhood. Right now Shaun is on his way to Sinnoh, and we need you to go to Johto." His father said back in a long speech.

"...I can be helpful again..." Greck muttered back. "Yes, but you have to learn to control the darkness, before the final battle...and that's one of the things you will do in Johto" His dad said. "Fine i'll do it...just let me know what it is." Grecko answered back.

"I will let you know what your mission is when you arrive there, and I will give you my Starraptor to fly on." His dad says back. "Ok...I understand I will go...for you.." Grecko says to the man he betrayed by joining the dark side.

"Ok good, right now we are in Viridian City again, so you must fly south from here. Let me know when you arrive in New Bark Town." his father says.

"If you do this it could save you from the darkness... You need to go to Johto son.. Then give me a call when you arrive... this is important" his dad says as he hands Grecko a cell phone. "I...won't let you down this time..." Grecko says as he hopes onto Starraptor. "Son...you haven't let me down." Grecko's dad says as Grecko begins to ascend into the sky.

Grecko stares down at his father and takes off, wondering what lies at the task ahead, he stares into the sunlight...something he hasn't seen in a while. After flying for a few hours starraptor lands and Grecko looks around and sees how the beautiful small city of New Bark Town is not destructed in any way...and he hopes he can help restore Kanto to this state.

OOC: Sorry....school stuff and all in way...anyway here's my new post:)

Volume 3, Chapter 1:

Max sighed quietly as he trodded down the trail leaving Mount Silver. So much was on his mind. Maybe eventually finding out who his father was, telling his mom and existing brothers tht he was fine...although he didn't entriely know how his family would react to him being part of the Dark Brotherhood...and then suddenly something new popped in to his head.

Alice. Max stopped moving and stared at the ground in front of his feet. The last time he had seen Alice was the day before he left on his journey. They were getting off of school and were walking home together. He had been so focused on the next day, he mostly ignored her...the only thing he left her with were his final words...see ya later, Alice. He hadn't even told her he was going on an adventure.

Max sighed wondering how she must feel right now. Max looked up in to the dark filled sky, wondering if his girlfriend had a new boyfriend, or if she was just devastated. Suddenly, a loud morphing sound was heard from behind him and Max jumped a little.

He turned around to see a smug looking Tai, his arms crossed, smirking at Max. "Ahh good old Max, I knew you'd stay loyal it seems the rest of your friends have abandon the way of the shadows" Tai said slowly trodding towards max.

Max's eyebrows knitted together. Grecko had left!? Wonderful! The only person he even felt remotely close to a friend was Grecko, and now he was pratically against him. Max looked away from Tai's patronizing gaze, but said nothing.

Max then looked back at Tai, very confused. Why was Tai here talking to him? Usually Beo was the one that gave him orders. Tai looked at Max, his face only. Max pursed his lips together, not that Tai could see them through the bandages or anything...

"Ohh by the way i'm your new Boss, Beo is gone." Tai turned around and wrapped his arm around Max's neck. Max stood there frozen, staring out at the mountains he had just battled Giovanni at. Beo...was dead!? How could this happen.

Max looked up at Tai. Wow, either Tai grew a few feet, or Max was shorter compared to Tai then he thought he had been. Max then turned his head away, staring out in to the wide space, as if he were a thousand years back. Tai sighed and hauled Max along as he walked through a dark portal, and jumped in with Max.

The two of them spiraled through the darkness. "Not much for words anymore huh, Max?" Tai asked as the spiraled down.

Max shook his head without a word.

"Big surprise...you used to be the one that shouted about how you were going to be the best between you, Grecko, and Shaun...I'm surprised to see that you're the only one now who's actually speechless." Tai said.

Max closed his eyes. He couldn't speak. In fact, he had tons of questions to ask, but couldn't. He felt as if there was a huge lump smack dab in the middle of his throat. Suddenly, the two spiraled out of the darkness, and in to the middle of a hallway.

Tai unwrapped his arm from around Max's neck and walked down an unfamiliar hallway in the Dark Brotherhood base. Max crossed his arms and reluctantly followed. So much had happened in the last few minutes. Now he wondered if he would have to choose wether to kill Grecko or Shaun, or to keep them alive...hopeuflly he could avoid that.

"You should feel happy i'm your new leader.. Beo had set the three of you up to die, he had different goals in mind.. But my goal is simple.. Control the shadows, and now with Girtina, and Darkrai, I have just that, now you have a new mission" Tai said as they stepped in to an unknown doorway.

Max suddenly stopped walking in mid-pace. He stared, wide-eyed at Tai. He stopped breathing, his pulce raced, and he felt dizy and lightheaded. Max stumbled a little, but caught himself and straightened up as he looked at Tai.

"D-d-d-darkrai? And G-g-g-g-g-giratina? Those two are supposed to be mythical shadow Pokemon!?" Max shouted in disbelief.

"Exactly...Max if you haven't noticed yet I've been engulfed in the shadows...and maybe soon enough you will be too." Tai said with a smirk.

"I don't believe you." Max said.

Tai chuckled and reached for two pokeballs on his belt. "Would you like me to show you?" he asked.

"No!" Max quickly answered. Quiker then he wanted to anyway.

"I'm about to unleash the full force of the darkness on Kanto, but first I need you to do me a favor, the one person who holds the key to keeping light in Kanto.. Zypher... must be killed... so go get your stuff together.. you may not be coming back" Tia then exited the room through another doorway.

Max rubbed his head. So many emotions ran through his head. Max turned around and left for his dorm. Contemplating all his emotions. Grief and despair about Grecko and Shaun, happiness and confusion about Beo, anxiety and fear about Tai with Giratina and Darkrai, and finally a lot involving Alice. Sadness for leaving her, grief for maybe never seeing her again, despair at the thought she had another boyfriend, anxiety to see her again, and sorrow for never apologizing for what he had done to her.

Max looked up and saw that without noticing, he was in his room now. All of Grecko and Shaun's stuff he noticed, was gone. Max grabbed his bag and tossed most all of his stuff in it as he wondered what his mission was, but mostly about Alice.

Max stood up to leave, grabing his cell phone from his bag and noticing he had a missed call. It was from Alice. Max stood there, unable to breath, and then pressed a button to listen to her message.

"Max? Are you there? This is Alice. Where have you been? Your mom has been worried sick about you. Anyway, I need to talk to you about something...something horrible. Uh, call me as soon as you can ok? Bye." she sounded as if she had been crying the entire day before then. Max quickly called her, hoping she would answer...but she never did. He got the answering machine and was forced to leave a message.

"Alice? It's Max. Sorry I haven't called you and left you with those three last stupid words. I hope this doesn't affect our relationship. Anyway tell my mom I'm fine. But, what's wrong? You sounded really worried and sad when you called. Call as soon as you can...bye." Max hung up and slipped the phone in to his pocket as he left his dorm...possibly forever.

File Trial

As you approach the new land before you, you land in a small town known as Twinleaf. As Dragonite lets you off it takes off back towards the Shadows of Kanto. You are then greeted by an old man about the age of Oak with a gray beard and blue sweater vest.

"Ahh Shaun" The old man mutters as he beckons you to follow him to his lab in a nearby town, so he could explain you mission. You start to wonder who this old man is and how he knows your name and about your mission. But before you could ask any questions the old man is jumped and the files are stolen. You quickly react by calling out your pokemon to attack him but he turns around and calls out his own pokemon.

He looks to you and says "The names Rowan, professor Rowan and these files contain the information needed to maybe save kanto.. and the world" He then mutters two words to you "Time Travel"

Mission Grecko Chapter 2
Volume 3
New lands New Life??

As you land in the Region of Johto you see a sign that reads "NewBark town" and you then start to call your dad. "son your there, thats great now listen you have to listen real carefully son..." Your father says as the phone dies, and you look to see your battery is dead, and you don't have your charger. Then you see what looks like a pokemon lab up ahead and you decide to see if you can use there phone, as you walk in you see a skinny young man in a lab coat about the age of your father talking on the phone.

"Ahh yes he actually just walked right in, don't worry i'll brief him on the mission, it was nice to hear from you again" The man says as he looks at you and hangs up the phone. "Well Grecko, that was your father on the phone, I have to inform you of your mission, but my how you have grown since you lived in Johto for the first year of your life" he says.. You hadn't realized your father was from Johto since he never mentioned it to you and you start to wonder who this man is. "My name is Professor Elm, and i'm an old friend of your fathers anyways its time to tell you of your mission" But just as Elm is about to tell you your mission, a man dressed in a ninja outfit throws sleeping gas in and knocks you and the proffesor out. When you wake up you find you are tied up next to the professor but not for long you call out a pokemon to free you and then the man turns and calls out his own.

"Tell me where the files are proffesor" the man says as the battle begins.

You finally have everything together and you are ready to leave when Tai approaches you. "Ahh there you are, you need to follow me real quick" He says as he leads you to one of the holding chambers only to find a clan of hope member all bloody and bruised. "This mission is going to require you to go undercover as a Clan of Hope member... So you need to forcefully remove the outfit from this man, kill him if youd like but he won't go down without a fight" Tai laughs as he throws you into the cell and locks the door. The clan of hope member then stares you down.

"Hmmm it really is asham that you have to do at such a young age" The clan of hope member says as he quickly calls out his pokemon.

When you return back to Tai he looks at you and laughs "Hahahhah I should just kill you now for how ridicolous you look in that haha" he says as he opens a portal for you but as your about to enter he says something to you... "You realize your the only member of the darkbrother hood left... everyone else I killed" he says as he laughs again and throws you into the shadows, not knowning where you'll come out..

Chapter 2, Vl. 3, Pt. I:

Max stood out in the hallway, waiting for either Tai or Alice to call him. SUddenly, Tai came walking around the corner and stood in front of Max. "Ahh there you are, you need to follow me real quick." he said. He grabbed Max's right arm and led him down multiple hallways.

He finally stopped in front of one of the holding chambers. Max looked through the bars to seen a Clan of Hope member, all bruised and bleeding, standing in the cell.

Max stumbled in and tripped over his own fot, falling to the ground. He looked up from the ground and found the man staring at him. Then, he heard a loud click and looked back to see Tai locking the cell door. Max flinched, realizing Tai didn't know if Max would die or not.

"Hmmm it really is asham that you have to do at such a young age." The man said. He grabbed Max up by his shirt and pushed him back. Max stumbled backwards, but stopped and caught himself as the man took out a Pokeball. "Go, Bayleef!" he shouted.

In a blinding white flash a tan Pokemon with a huge leaf on its head, and green buds on its neck appeared and stared at Max. Max rubbed his head and took out his Pokedex.

Species: Bayleef, the leaf Pokemon.
Entry: The buds that ring its neck give off a spicy aroma that perks people up.

"Go, Growlithe!" Max said.

In a blinding white flash out popped Growlithe who looked ready as ever to win this battle. Max smirked as the battle began.

Johto oh no!

"STAAAAAARRRTOOOOORRRR" Starraptor yells as it lands and Grecko stumbles off. Grecko looks down at a sign and reads out loud "NewBark Town! Where Dreams Begin!....well if I want a new start than I guess this is the place." Grecko than takes out the cell phone his father gave him and begins to call him.

"Dad..i'm in Johto" Grecko begins the conversation. "son your there, thats great now listen you have to listen real carefully son..." Grecko's father says before he is instantly cut off. "Dad..Dad? Damnit this thing is dead.." Grecko says as he throws the phone to the ground and calls Starraptor back to it's pokeball. "Hmm maybe I can use the phone at that lab up ahead" Grecko says as he runs off towards the lab.

"HEEELLLOOO?" Grecko yells as he opens the door, before he hears a man on the phone. "Ahh yes he actually just walked right in, don't worry i'll brief him on the mission, it was nice to hear from you again" The man says as he looks at Grecko and hangs up the phone. "AHHH Darkness!!!!!!!!!!!" Grecko yells as he hurridely wakes up from his slumber. "Hmmph what the hell are you yelling about kid?" the ninja says as he stares at Grecko and Elm. "Grecko its ok don't say anything to him..ahhh" Elm says as the ninja walks over and punches him in the face. The ninja begins to speak, "Tell me where the files are proffesor"

"Files?" Grecko says in his head confused. "Never!" Elm yells back. "So be it!" the ninja yells as he pulls a sword out and runs at Elm. "Monferno go use ember!" Grecko yells as he escapes the rope and throws out his monferno. "MONNN" the fire pokemon yells as it jumps in front of Elm and sends a blast of fire at the ninja.

"AHHHH" the ninja yells as he tossed back into a table. "Now how about you get out of here?" Grecko says to the man with a smirk. "I don't think so...lets go Ninjask!" The ninja yells as he sends out his own pokemon.

"NIII NIII!" the bug ninja pokemon yells as it comes out of its pokeball. "Hmmph your gonna have to do better than that!" Grecko yells back to the ninja in mockery. "Will see...Ninjask use Furry Cutter!" the ninja yells to his pokemon.

"Monferno stop it with ember!" Grecko commands his pokemon. "MOOONNNN" Monferno yells as it sends another ember attack towards the attacking Ninjask. "Ninjask double team!" the ninja yells to his pokemon while its in mid attack. "Got it!" Grecko yells as he watches his ember attack take out the ninjask.

"Wrong one kid!" the ninja yells back. "What!" Grecko screams as he turns around and the Ninjask behind his Monferno. "NIIII!" it yells as it begins to continuosly cut Monferno. "Monferno no!" Grecko hollers as his pokemon gets badly damaged and tossed into a computer.

"Your pretty weak kid! Ninjask use Fury Cutter again!" the ninja yells as Greck just stares at Monferno. "NIIII NIII!" the bug pokemon yells as it appears right in front of the unconcious Monferno. "Now Monferno,Ember!" Grecko yells as he snaps out his trance. "MOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!" Monferno screams as it instantly jumps up and covers the attacking Ninjask in flames.

"What??" the ninja yells in confusion as his pokemon falls to the ground unconcious. "Im not weak at all...actually for only starting my journey a month and a half ago...im pretty #@!$%^# strong! And I kind of owe that to the darkness!" Grecko calmly says to the man as the shadows once again start to whip around his legs.

"Huh...no I won't fall for these illusions! Thats all that is..its an illusion...lets go Scyther!" the man says in a scared way. "Hehe" Grecko says under his breath. "So that's the darkness that Grecko's father said he has become a part of. He really will have to learn to control it...unlike Beo and Tai...and hopefully he can become a major part of defeating Tai and saving Kanto." Proffessor Elm says to himself as he watches the darkness consume Grecko.

Grecko walks over to Monferno and picks him up, "Good fight buddy but I don't want to push you like I did before...if I want to learn to control this darkness...thats the first step." Grecko says as he walks over to the ninja and his Scyther. "What what do you want? were having a battle!" the man says as he calmly pulls out his sword for precaution.

"I just want to talk." Grecko says to the man. "This is a battle not a talk show!" the man begins to yell as he witnesses the shadows completley engulf Grecko. "I know that...but i would really like for you to leave...that way I wont have to kill you." Grecko than says. "Kill me!!! your not killing me!" the man says as he backs up into his Scyther and falls over. "O but i will...i may be a kid...but i've killed...and after seeing you attempt to kill Elm over there that gives me justification. You see I started out for good and than i joined the dark brotherhood with two other people who were members of the light side. I became good friends with the one kid named Max, and as for the other...Shaun i think it was..well i dont care much for him...but after battling my dad i realized that I have to fight for good, so im going to learn to control this darkness....but i think killing one more person will be ok." Grecko tells the man as the darkness gets stronger.

The ninja getting scared swings his sword quickly at Grecko hopping to kill him. "NO!" Elm yells as he witnesses this. "PSSSHHH" the noise made as the sword breaks off Grecko's arm. "Haha please...the darkness protects me" Grecko says as he walks back over to Elm. "Wow...thats strong..." Elm oddly thinks to himself.

"Lets finish!" Grecko yells to the man as he sends out his Luxio. Grecko than stares down the ninja who looks really afraid now.

Shaun squinted his eyes against the wind as Dragonite lowered itself to the ground with a few pumps of its mighty wings. The great dragon had dropped Shaun off in front of an old looking man. With a deep grunt towards the two, Dragonite took off just as Shaun got off, not even indicating if Shaun could trust this man.

"Ah, so you must be Shaun," the old man said, causing Shaun to immediately stiffen. How did this man know his name. "Oak told me," the man said gruffly, eyeing Shaun knowingly. "I am Professor Rowan, and I will be the one to give you information on your next mission."

"Which is?" Shaun drawled as he followed the tense proffesor into his lab.

"All the answers you need are on my... the files!" Proffesor Rowan all but screams as soon as they enter the lab. There, in the very middle of the lab, caught red handed, is a stranger holding the very files that Rowan was about to show Shaun.

Startled, the man grabbed a pokeball with twitchy fingers, obviously both shocked and scared at being caught. "Go!" he croaked, trying to twist his face into a brave expression.

With a burst of white light, a small, pink pokemon with fluffy fur surroundings its head like a mane appeared. It had a pink and black striped tail with a gem at the end, reminding Shaun of a Dragonaire or a Spoink.

"Fllaa!" it bawed happily, giving off a few sparks, indicating it was an electric type pokemon.

Shaun sneered. He knew just what to use against this. "Go!" he snapped, tossing his own pokeball.

With a burst of white light, Gible appeared. "Gible!" it cried, snapping its teeth together. Turning towards the Flaffy, it gave a deep grunt before the horns on the side of its head glowed a deep brown. Suddenly, blasts of sand erupted from the two horns and shot towards Flaffy, startling the electric lamb.

"Fllaa!" Flaffy cried out in shock, jumping to all fours as its fur lit up with sparks.

"Flaffy, try and get away!" the man ordered quickly, just as shocked by the sudden attack.

"Flaf ffllaffy!" Flaffy cried, narrowing its eyes as it charged up its fur, bringing up a bolt of electricity with its Thundershock attack. The electric bolt shot towards the sand, doing, of course, no damage.

"Giib!" Gibble said happily, bouncing up and down in happiness as its attack finally landed on Flaffy. The sand instantly surrounded the electric lamb and swirled around like a sandy tornado that tore at the pink hide.

"Flaaa!" Flaffy squealed, scrunching up its eyes in pain as the harsh sand pounded against its skin.

"Flaffy, try Thunderwave!" the man said desperately.

Shaun scoffed as the elecric lamb charged up once more and shot zigzagging bolts of electricty towards Gible. The small dragon pokemon simply turned to look back at Shaun, apparently confused that its opponent was using attacks that didn't even hurt it. "Giib," it said with a yawn, even as its body lit up with electricity.

"Yes, both the pokemon and trainer are fools," Shaun said with distaste to Gible's questioning look. He was completely digusted with this scared man. Who on earth would give this person the responsibility of stealing from a well known professor?

The man scowled as he heard Shaun's words. "Flaffy, use Cotten Spore to slow down that Gible!"

"And then what?" Shaun scoffed. "You haave nothing that can hurt my Gabite." With a dark look, he turned back to the dragon pokemon, watching as it poked at the spores covering its body. "Gibe, Dragon Rage," he ordered.

"Gi! Gi!" Gible said excitedly, mouth widening as it turned towards Flaffy. "Giiible!" it cried as it shot out the redish purple draconic blast.

Eyes widening, Flaffy tried to stumble back, far away from the attack, but the Dragon Rage hit true, and it covered its body in an explosion of draconic fire and pain. "Flaaaa!"

"Flaffy!" its trainer screamed, running towards his pokemon, only stopping back aways from the heat of the fire. "Flaffy, he murmered, eyes widening as he also took notice of some sand particles that he hadn't noticed before that were digging into its skin.

"Sandtomb lasts for more than one turn," Shaun lectured with a bored tone. He could feel his lip curl in disaste at this idiot. "Gible, finish it with Tackle," he snarled.

"Gii!" Gible barked, giving a quick nod. "Biiil!" he cried, charging with his chubby little legs. "Gii bill!" With a loud grunt, and a painful cry from Flaffy, the little shark dragon successfully sent Flaffy barreling over.

"Flaffy!" its trainer shouted in worry, seemingly more interested in his pokemons well being instead of the actual batte. With a sad sigh, he returned the electric lamb. With a more forceful expression, the mystery man threw his next pokeball.

With a burst of white light, a strange black feathered bird with a white face appeared, lighting Shaun's interest. He rarely ever saw Sinnoh pokemon, and seeing one was a treat.

"Staravia!" it cried as it quickly raised its wings. With a glare at Gible, it gave out a mighty call and began to flap its wings quickly, creating a Whirlwind that pushed Gible back.

"Gii!" Gible cried out, narrowing his eyes against the blast.

"Return," Shaun snapped. He sneered at the bird, knowing the perfect pokemon. "Go, Skarmory!"

With a burst of white light, the gray and green colored Skarmory appeared. With a low growl, Skarmory turned its harsh glare on the much smaller bird, beak poised and wings spread, already ready for battle.

"Skarmory!"

Something Wicked This Way Comes!

As the dark wave came hurling at Gage, he thought that this may be it for his run at saving Kanto. But then he heard a familiar voice that made his whole body shake, it was Beo calling out a command.

"Giratina Aura Sphere" Beo shouted as right in front of Gage and Angelas faces an unknown giant snake like pokemon with many claws and Piercing red eyes appear from the darkness stopping the dark wave in it's tracks. Beo following from behind. Gage started to wonder why Beo has saved him, but then he understood.

"Oh Tai, you had such hope, then you had to go and steal my research on Darkrai, and capture him for yourself, well I guess you'll just have to die then I'll own both pokemon of the shadows" Beo shouted to the boy.

"Hahaha Beo, Beo, Beo.... It's over" Tai shouted laughing.. "Darkrai attack Giratina with Night shade now"

"Giratina Aura sphere" Beo shouted as the two legendary shadow Pokemon fought in mid air in was an intense battle to watch..

Gage then realized it was your chance to escape and he grabbed Angelas hand trying to make a run for the gates.. But as he started to leave Gage looked back, and saw Tai come out from the shadows right behind Beo.. Beo's eyes grow wide eyes Tai whispers into the his ear.

"You aren't meant to control the shadows" Tai whispered as he stabbed Beo's chest with a knife. Beo dropped to the ground his body without life. He was dead.. Then his body slowly was engulfed in darkness and devoured. Tai then grabbed Giratina's pokeball and returns both the shadow Pokemon.. He then turns to looked at the two....

"Surely now you realize the world is doomed" Tai said as his dissapeared into the shadows..

As the boy, supposedly named Tai floated back into the darkness Gage stood mouth opened wide in shock at the events that had just unfolded in front of him. He uttered the only thing that came to mind, "What the hell?" Angela looked at him with the same confused expression.

"Is this a good thing or a bad thing?" She asked looking at Gage. Gage didn't know how to answer, "I'm not sure, it happened all to fast... But from the sounds of it the **** just hit the and we were in the crossfire, this Tai kid has two legendary Pokemon and it seems that he has something evil up his sleeve..."

Gages attention quickly turned to the limp body on the ground near his feet and sneered in disgust. He thought of the mans last seconds of life and how quickly his face contorted from hate to fear in only a quick instant. As disturbing as it sounded Gage almost got enjoyment from seeing the man die in such a way, consumed in the very darkness he tried to control. Gage looked down and crouched over the body closing Beos eyelids with his fingers.

Angela seemed to have mutual emotion about the whole situation. Her face was relatively emotionless but Gage knew she had worry in her eyes. "Angela are you okay?" Gage asked concerned.

Angela shook her head, "Yeah yeah... I'll be fine, it's just... He's really dead isn't he? I mean.... He went down so quickly... He was alive just a second ago and now he's just.. Gone." She looked down at the body.

Gage sighed. "I know... It's a little nerve wracking, I say we take the body with us to Saffron and call up Zypher... What do you say?"

Angela shrugged, "I guess, but you carrying.... It..." She pointed at Beo as if he were more monster than man.

"I wouldn't have it any other way..." Gage said lifting the body over his shoulder and leading the way into Saffron.

The pair made there way towards the Pokemon center and Angela kept her distance from Gage, he really didn't like it. He pushed through into the Pokemon Center and got dirty stares from every person in the room. He just lied Beos body on the nearby destroyed couch and turned to all of the people in the room. "What? What the hell is wrong with you people!?" He yelled.

Deep Down Gage felt like he was going to throw up and all the people made him feel sick. He couldn't help it anymore, he ran out of the Center and started throwing up everywhere, he couldn't help it, all he could think about was the face Beo made right before his death, how real everything was now and how serious it could really become, it wasn't a game anymore.

Angela who was just seconds ago distancing herself from Gage ran up to him, "Oh my god are you okay?" Gage looked up at her angrily, not sure whether or not he was.

"Whatever, just call Zypher okay? Tell him everything that's happened and that we have Beos body." She nodded and pulled a phone out of her pocket dialing Zyphers number.

(Sorry it took forever and its bad quality, a lot of stuff has been happening lately and ive been trying to deal with it all at once)

"Grrrr, Scyther use furry cutter!" the ninja yells speedily. "Come on out Glameow! use hypnosis!" Grecko yells as he sends out his pokemon.

"MOOOWWW" Glameow yawns as it sends an hypnosis attack at the attacking Scyther. "SCYY...ther.." Scyther began yelling as it fell asleep in mid attack.

"Ah Scyther wake up!!!!!!" The ninja yells out to his pokemon. "Hes done!" Grecko hollered at the man. "Now Glameow finish it with fake out!" Grecko commanded his pokemon.

"MOOOOWWW!" Glameow said as it charged into the sleeping Scyther, slamming it into the wall. ".....Scyther return!" the ninja yells as he returns Scyther to it's pokeball.

"Hehehe whats wrong ninja? failing your mission?" Grecko says as he begins to laugh. "No I won't lose I need these documents....hmm i could just leave!" the ninja laughs as he throw out a smoke ball.

"Ahh I can't see!" Grecko and proffessor Elm both yelled as the ninja made his escape. When the smoke cleared the ninja was gone and a file holder was smashed open. Grecko untied the proffesor and he ran over to the file holder.

"OH NO! hes got the files!" proffessor elm yelled in shock. "What files? whats going on?" Grecko yells back as the darkness melts off of his body and he's no longer shrouded in it.

"Theres no time to explain yet, but it deals with what your doing here...first youll need to find the ninja."Proffessor Elm says to Grecko. "Hmmph right ill be right back! Lets go Starraptor!" Grecko yells as he jumps on his fathers pokemon.

"Hurry back with the files! We dont have to much time left!" Proffessor Elm yells as Grecko takes off into the sky.

"Staravia, use Wing Attack!" the man called to his pokemon a bit nervously as he eyes the giant metallic bird.

"Use Swift," Shaun ordered as he folded his arms. His dark eyes glared at the man, causing him to shift nervously, before turning his attention to the battle as his Skarmory gave a mighty cry.

"Skarrr!" Skarmory yelled, beak wide open as sharo stars blasted out towards the incoming black flying pokemon.

"Saar!" Staravia cried as it tried to maneuver around the sharp stars, but as the attack was a type of homing device, no matter how hard Staravia tried to get away, the stars still bashed right into him. "Star," Staravia shuddered as he landed harshly on the ground, but still managed to get up quickly with a few beats of his wings.

"Staravia, try another Wing Attack!" its trainer called.

Nodding, Staravia took off, already kicking up files in the lab from the strong beat of its wings. "Ravia!"

"Skarmory, Fury Attack," came the cold order from Shaun.

"Maa," Skarmory grunted, already kicking up his own horde of files as he beat his wings, much to Professor Rowan's distress. Beak poised, Skarmory lunged.

"Star! Star! Star! Star!" Staravia cried with heach lunge from Skarmory, gracefully dodging each attack with its much smaller body.

"Skar!" Skarmory yelled out in agner before finally needing to bring up his wings to block Staravia's thrust of its own. "Mork," Skarmory grumbled before finally shoving Staravia away. Before the black and white bird could get away, he released his beak to shoot a quick Swift attack.

"Stara!" Staravia cried, body stiff as it was seemingly defying gravity by being held in the air by the pounding Swift attack with its wings completely stiff.

"Staravia!" it trainer shouted in worry. Gritting his teeth, he gave an angry glare before reaching for another pokeball. "Go, Quilava! Help out your friend!"

With a burst of white light, and low grolwing sound, a weasel like pokemon with a dark blue back and cream stomach appeared. "Lava," it rumbled deeply as fire sprang from its head and lower back.

Shaun sneered as the man called out another pokemon so that it was two on one. Quickly, he gathered another pokeball, but before he could even throw it, the Quilava let out a vicious snar.

"Quilava, Ember!" the man cried.

With a scoff, Quilava ignored the order and began to charge, its body becoming engulfed in flame that completely startled Skarmory. "Quillq!" Quilava roared as it bashed into Skarmory.

The mighty bird let out a loud screech that Shaun had never heard before from it. "Skaaaar!" Skarmory roared, feeling its hest plate melt and burn from the flames surrounding Quilava. With a savage grunt, Skarmory flung Quilava awy, but it only managed to land on its feet and dispell the flames with a snort.

Shaun scowled. "Go!" he snarled, releasing Gible once more.

As soon as he released and materialized, Gible let out a little happy cry at being able to battle once more. "Gi! Gi!"

"Gible, Sandstorm!" Shaun barked, interrupting his pokemon's happy cries. "Skarmory, use Swift!"

"Staravia, try a Whirlwind to blow the sand away!" the opposing trainer yelled.

"Giii," Gible crooned as sand was released from the horns on its side. Skarmory shifted into position and waited for the sand to cover the area before releasing the vicious stars. The sand didn't bother him at all thanks to his hard body.

"Staa..." Staravia faltered, a bit unsure by the order. However, as soon as the sand began to kick up, Staravia began to flap his wings quickly, but this only forced the sand to swirl faster into a vortex of hard and gritty sand.

"Quil," Quilava barked at his teammate with an angry snarl as the sand simply gained speed and tore at their hides, causing them to wince.

Taking this moment to attack, Skarmory let out an angry screech. Mouth wide, sharp stars swept towards the two opponents. "Sakrr!"

Staravia swirled around through the Sandstorm, but it was no use, for the sharp stars pounded away on its turned back. "Starr!" Starvia cried as it fell to the ground, wincing as it did so. As it looking up wearily, its eyes widened as took in the sight of very sharp feet in front of it.

"Gii," Gible said happily, expression completely innoccent before a harsh sneer covered its face. "Gii!" he roared, mouth already foaming with draconic fire. With a startled shriek from Staravia, Gible let loose on the Dragon Rage attack.

Over with Quilava, its trainer was shouting out commands for it to Defense Curl to lesson the brunt of the attack, but Quilava scoffed at the command. "Lava!" he cried, encompassing his body with flames. With a large huff that spat out flames through his nose, Quilava narrowed his eyes at the incoming Swift attack and released a barrage of Ember's that pounded away against the stars, leaving him safe. "Quu," Quilava spat as the Sandstorm finally went away, and with it his blurry vision. With a glare at the sand dragon that was utop his fallen teammate, Quilava let out a roar. "Qulllava!" Quilava ran forward and smashed right into a surprised Gibble.

"Giii!" Gibble cried, cringing as the flames burned at his stomach, even with the sandy hide that protects him. With a depressed huff, Gible keeled over.

"Skarr!" Skarmory snarled, flying over to the angry fire type. "Mory!" Skarmory snarled, using Fury Attack in a blur.

"Lava! Alav!" Quilava gasped, shaking from the pounding on his back before spiking the flames, causing Skarmory to reel back.

"Lav..." Quilava breathed as it jumped back.

"Staravia, return," its trainer said glumly, watching nervously. "Quilava, try an Ember attack!"

Quilava glared at his trainer and turned away, nose in the air.

Shaun grinned. "Look's like your own pokemon doesn't listen, and I can't really blame it." The man glared at Shaun before gasping as Shaun released two more pokemon.

"Golduck!" called the mighty water duck pokemon.

"Weavile," the dark murderer purred with a lick of his paw.

"Th-that's cheating!" the man barked.

"Qui," Quilava spat, body erupting with flames. "Qulava!" Charging, Quilava used a mixture of Quick Attack and Flame Wheel to charge.

"Skarmory, Swift! Golduck, Water Gun!" With these orders spat, Shaun turned to Weavile and jerked his head at the annoying trainer.

"Skaar!" Skarmory snarled, beak wide as stars escaped from its mouth.

"Gool," Golduck preened, happy at the chance to battle. It hadn't battle for a while. With his beak wide open, a torrent of water swept right at Quilava, intermixing the sharp stars, and with widened eyes from the fire type, it was turning head over heel from the attack.

"Quilava!" the trainer shouted out in worry, trying to get to his pokemon, only to step back as Weavile hissed at him.

"Wee," Weavile chuckled before lunging. With a horrified scream, Weavile grabbed the man by his shirt and threw him out the window. He broke through the window with a loud grunt and, with another dark chuckle, Weavile jumped out and followed the man.

Professor Rowan winced and turned a cold gaze on Shaun as he heard a blood curtling scream. He made a move to say something, thinking that the boy would do something similar to the beaten and rebellious looking Quilava that panted on the wet ground.

"Laav," Quilava muttered, shaking with pain as Skarmory and Golduck stood over him.

Shaun watched carefully before pulling out a dark colored pokeball as soon as Weavile appeared, licking a blood stained claw. With a dark grin at the almost unconcious fire pokemon, Shaun threw the dark ball and watched it engulf the Quilava.

And now, all they could do was watch as it began to shake...

Luck gone bad?

Gage​

As the goes on, things seem to get worse, you start feeling hungry and everyone inside this pokemon center seem to be ignoring you. Could it be the dead body you've brought along, of the one man everyone hates? Possibly... but something else is going on here, you don't quit understand it but you have this feeling that no one can see you.. Finally you run over to talk to Angela but she completly ignores you.. You do everything possible to try to get her to say something but nothing works.. Finally you hear a voice come from behind you.

"oh Gage...." the voice comes from behind and you turn around to see Beo sitting there with his legs crossed sitting in a thinking postion.

This startles you at first and you think maybe your dreaming.. but your not. you then ask Beo whats going on..

"Silly boy, don't you realize that everything you've done since the day Oak brought you kids in.. it's all been apart of the game?

You don't understand what he means by game but then that evil grin comes across his face.

"Well what if I were to say I planned for everything to work out this way.. and that i wasn't really dead? Well i'm not pretty much the shadows have taken there full effect on me, and when i was stabbed it wasn't me.. that body by your friend there isn't me.. it's actually a shadow clone" Beo says to you.. You still don't get why no one can see you so you ask him..

"Oh thats simple Gage.. for every shadow clone created it takes a sacrifice... you my friend were that sacrifice.." he says with a serious face..

You start asking him what he means by this and then he stares at you.. "It means your now trapped in a dimension between the world, and the shadows.. no one can see or hear you, you basically don't exsist anymore Gage, and before i'd go i'd like to thank you for playing this exciting game with me. and with that Beo leaves you, alone....

Angela

As you sit next to Gage inside the pokemon center you start to doze off and your eyes quickly close, when you reopen them you find that Gage has gone missing and you start to panic. You frantically run around asking the other people there if they have seen him.. but no one has. You then recive a phone call from Sly..​

"Angela, we have some bad news" Sly says as she sounds really upset on the phone and you ask her what it is. "Gage's body was found laying outside of the base, we think Tai may have somehow caught him off gaurd killed him and sent him through the shadows here" She says.. You don't understand how this happened but you realize it must have when you dozed off.. You then are told to return to the base and a few hours later you arrive.

Sly leads you to a small room, where you find Gage laying there lifeless on a cot, something just doesn't seem right.. "wheres his pokemon" you ask.

"we don't know they weren't with the body.. but were searching i'm terribly sorry" Sly says.

A few hours later Gage is buried and you find yourself laying in your cot alone wondering what happened to Gage, and if this really was your fault.

Shaun scowled as the dark ball broke open, revealing a beaten Quilava. "Lava!" it exclaimed before jumping out the already broken window. Shaun sighed at the loss of the fire type but shrugged it off. There would be others...

"What was so important about these papers?" he demanded. Anything that was stolen by hired thieves were definitely important.

Professor Rowan sighed as he picked up the papers. "These papers will resolve all our problems, and lead you to your next mission." Shaun raised a brow. "Time travel," Rowan said with a smile.

Shaun blinked, not sure if he had heard the old man correctly.

"What?"

Battle in the sky!

As Grecko took off into the air on his fathers starraptor, professor elm sat below and looked at the destroyed fileing cabnet that once contained the files needed to save the world from darkness. "I really hope these kids that Oak entrusted everything to can win this battle.." Elm said as he picked up the phone.

"Starraptor go as high as you can!" Grecko commanded the bird pokemon. "STARRAA" the pokemon yelled as it climbed higher into the air. "Starrra" it then said as it stopped dead in it's tracks. "Alright so this is your max height" Grecko said as he looked down for the ninja. After looking for about a minute Grecko spotted the ninja fleeing on a ninjask.

"Hmmph good thing Starraptor is so much faster. Starraptor after him!" Grecko laughed as he pointed at the ninja. "STARRRRAAA" it yelled as it dove down at a fast rate. "Good thing i got away with these files...i still wish i knew who the man was that hired me to steal them though...something just seems to fishy about all of this.." the ninja says to himself as he stares down at the files he stole, while riding on his ninjask.

"Luxio use spark!" Grecko commanded from behind the ninja. "HUH!" the ninja screams as he looks behind him and quickly dodges the electric attack. Grecko and Starraptor than pull right beside the ninja. "You didnt think i'd let you get away did you? those files are important to my mission and saving kanto...so if you know whats good for you you will hand them over!" Grecko yells to the man as his Luxio gets in position on Starraptors neck.

"Saving Kanto...o i get it now...the man who hired me to steal these papers is none other than the great Beo!" the ninja hollers as he raises the files in the air. "No...Beo's dead, but its one of Beos underlings, Tai, but you cant honestly want the world to end!?" Grecko asks.

"The world wont end, and this Tai guy promised me a high position in the new world if i accomplished this mission" the ninja says back as the two trainers continue to glide through the air on their flying pokemon. "Hes lying, the people who weild the darkness just say things to make you follow them...believe me i know first hand.." Grecko says back to the mans statement.

"Ha you weild the darkness though so how do i know your not lying?" the ninja says back. "Because im different...i left the darkness and i only joined because they threatened me...now hand those papers over or die!" Grecko yells.

"how about no! Ninjask furry cutter!" the ninja yells as his bug pokemon quickly flies at Starraptor and swings its blade like hands. "AHHHH" Grecko yells as he quickly has Starraptor dodge the attack. "Now Ninjask use double team!" the ninja yells. "NIIN NIIN" the pokemon says as it hurridely makes a bunch of copies of itself and the ninja that surround Grecko.

"Crap how do i know which is the real one..." Grecko thinks to himself as he stares at the ton of copies. "Your done kid, you never should have gotten involved" the ninja copies all say with laughter. "Grrr..wait i got it! Starraptor climb high up again while Luxio uses charge!" Grecko says to his pokemon and his fathers as he begins to climb into the air again.

"Hey where are you going kid!" the ninja copies all say as they fly up after him. "Just right here!" Grecko says back as Starraptor stops climbing. "Pathetic trying to fly like that! Ninjask furry cutter again!" The ninja copies yell to their ninjask copies. "Now Luxio use spark!" Grecko commands his electric pokemon as all the ninjas begin to fly at him.

"What!" all the copies yell as they say huge thunderbolts come storming down out of the sky. "Hmmph i had luxio use charge as we climbed up so he could use the power of the electricity in the sky as well as his own, so now you can all say good bye!" Grecko yelled out as he watched all the copies get struck by lighting causing the fake ones to disapear.

"NOOOO!" the real ninja yells as hes struck by a bolt and sent hurling to the ground. "Goodjob Luxio return, Starraptor lets go down after him." Grecko says as he returns Luxio and swoops down to the ground. "Well looks like he didnt make it..." Grecko says as he walks over to the dead ninja and takes the files.

Later back at ELms office:

"Yes mr. rage i understand, i will tell him." Professor Elm says as he hangs up the phone. "Was that my father again?" Grecko asks as he walks in waving the files in the air. "Yes it was, and o wow you got the files back im so happy!" Professor Elm yells as he runs over to Grecko and grabs the files.

"So...what do these files say..and whats my next mission..." Grecko says as he looks at Proffesor Elm in a tired way.

Professor ELm turns to Grecko and says two words.."Time Travel"....
