[Released] Pokemon Pathways (1/19/25: Alpha 9.1.3)

Is there no way to obtain gen 9 starters if you miss the questions? I didn't know the starter was chosen based on them, I'd like to get a meowscarada but now I'm already lvl70+

Step1: Go to Dojo fights to get lots of strengh and possibly the perk that divides by 2 the strengh cost of doing things.
Step2: Do a lot of mining.
Step3: Do a lot of Selling.
Step4: You now have money, which can be exchanged for goods and services.
Step5: You are now poor again, so rinse and repeat.
 
So, I was Playing my first file, and because I was bored, started a second to get expelled. When I was expelled, I went to play the first again. It would load the file for a second before returning me to the main load up screen.
 
Hello! I've just started playing the game and noticed a lot of the music in the game I recognize, but I can't remember what it's from. So I was just wondering if there is either somewhere in the game that credits the music or if there is somewhere online that does so. Thanks!

I've been playing this for a few days now and wanted to try out the affinity mechanic and how it works. So I tried to max out the first character Akiza and got to 70-80 pretty quickly. But now she always participates in battles whenever possible (so double battles happen every time). I mean it's all well and good but she's level 70 and I'm somewhere between level 30 and 40. Is there a way to disable her or tell her not to engage in combat? Because it's boring, if she just kills everything without me being able to participate in any battles.

Edit: found a comment on their discord that worked for me 'If you encounter a problem with the PARTNER SYSTEM, like for example having a character always team up with you after you blacked out in a double battle, you can go talk to the TORCHIC DOLL in your room. Saying "no" to it will automatically separate you from your partner regardless of any glitch'

This game is like nothing i've seen before for a pokemon fangame, i love it to death, it is genuinely the best pokemon experience i've had ever.

Is it possible to have a new link to the discord ?
 
Whenever I go into the wild zones at the school, an insane amount of Pokemon pop up everwhere, making it outright a pain to go through the areas. Trying to complete 1 quest had me fight over 20 pokemon. Also, whenever you fight Ninja dude from the D rank class, it bugs out and I fight him twice.
 
After doing the team magma double battle, and saying I wanted to join, the Admin person glitched into a building. I can still talk to him, he's just in a building. I then went into the magma base, and when I left, the guy was in the right spot, blocking me from leaving the area and I had to load the game
 
Is there a way to check friendship? I got Pichu at lvl 10, now it is at lvl 32 and still haven't evolve to Pikachu. Also, Where is Yarriette? Can't find her at all. It's like she just randomly come out sometimes.

Every character has a daily routine, and for the friendship i don't think you can see it.
 
Does anyone know how to evolve Meltan into Melmetal? Do I have to give him a Metal Coat and get him to a certain level or something like that?
 
Cassandra's phone number doesn't show up after receiving it, is that intentional?
 
I have a small problem... I'm currently paired with Akiza but uhh... she isn't actually following me. She joins me for battles, but I can't make her stop because I can't talk to her. The consequences of this are: she doesn't level up, I can't use the Battle Club, and I can't get others to follow me instead. Not entirely game breaking. It just happened one day when I asked her to join me from her dorm room. I have a save from just before it happened, but I've done so much at this point I don't really want to go back to it. Any solutions?

Actually found a solution. If anyone has this issue, go to the torchic doll in your room, say no. Touch it again and say yes. Your pokemon should pop out again and you'll be FREEEE!

Loving the game, by the way. Graphical bugs, walking straight into walls, all that minor stuff aside, this game is polished as hell and it deserves tons of praise!
(Oh also, when you ask Mr. Cee how the curriculum works he claims to specialise in Grass, Normal, and Bug. So I really don't know what to expect his pokemon to be considering that's clearly wrong.)

The pokegear phone is also... quirky. My contacts in order are
Mentor Lygn - actually calls or texts him
Akiza - actually calls or texts her
Yariette - actually calls or texts her
Aran - 100+ friendship call to Akiza where I can talk, flirt, or hang up.
Hyun - Despite an affinity of 29, does the friendship call with him where I can talk, flirt, or hang up
Eros - 100+ friendship call to Akiza where I can talk, flirt, or hang up.

So that's a beautiful mess
