4th Gen Pokemon Pearl online?

    How does the Global Trade Station work? Whenever I try to connect it says there is no compatible access point in range. I use a secure network that uses the advanced setup in the DSI internet menu.

    Is that the problem because I can get on the DSi shop but it won't find the network when i'm in the game.
     
    They cut it off.. Well it lasted for a good 8 years
     
    Just going to add some details. You can no longer play ANY Pokemon game with X/Y as exceptions via Wireless Internet. You can play all the future games for now, such as upcoming OR/AS, but for everything before the 6th generation, wifi is shut down.

    You CAN, however, play with your friends locally, via Union room, if that means anything to you.
     
    As the other two said, wi-fi for anything before 6th Gen was shut down back in May. You can still play locally with a second DS/3DS/2DS though.
     
    I heard you can still play these games online using flashcards.
