FireRed hack: Pokemon Pink(an) Edition

What would happen if years and years ago, the kanto region imported pinkan berries on a massive scale, causing all pokemon to turn pink and massively affect their culture? well thats what this hack is.



Fair warnings: this is my first time making a hack so yes its janky. the overworld sprites are often pink in a way that looks a bit odd. i messed up along the way and to be frank i dont know how to fix it. BUT! i did go through all original 151 pokemon and make them pinkan variations. all pokemon are now pink (in kanto anyway) and the shiny versions have also for the most part been changed. Ive also changed the intro a tiny bit as well as some of professor oaks dialogue to reflect the changes. Additionally, the trades in game have been modified to allow you to get version exclusives. there are also two trades for bulbasaur and squirtle so if you want every starter, pick charmander.

Anyway this is really just something I thought of one day that might be funny so I did it. I know it doesnt hold up as a legit hack but if youre looking for a mostly normal fire red playthrough but things are pink, you're in the right spot. If somehow people actually enjoy it, then maybe ill update it but for now just enjoy and if you have any suggestions or run into issues let me know!

Patch onto a clean Fire red 1.0 rom!
