Desmume was what I used, that one I know works
You do need a clean rom of US Platinum, other than that nothing specific

You can actually soft patch with melonDS core in Retroarch, but because this probably sounds like gibberish to most people you can ignore it.. But for those interested:

Heheh sorry, Bidoof isn't in the game ^_^'
As stated in my original post, only 240 of the 493 pokemon can be caught in-game, many of them aren't available.

Once you get to Solaceon, catch an Unown in the ruins. They can learn every HM XD

So far after getting the first gym badge I feel the game difficulty is preatty decent.
Pokemons from route trainers are not too high leveled, which I think is fine bc you don't over level, but I would maybe raise their IVs or enhance the battle AI to make it a bit more challenging.
Really nice work anyway, I encourage you to keep working in pokemon hack roms if you have in mind other double adventures ✌️

The early trainers are pretty easy, but don't worry, the difficulty will definitely pick up soon.
