I played a bit and I thought it would be a good moment to show off what I did so far!^^​

Okay, i have done so far...​

-Caught a Ratata
-Beat up the rival (Itachi!^^) four times
-Went through Viridian Forest

-kicked some Rocket Butt at Mt.Moon

-Owned L.T. Surge and taught Raticate Thunderbolt​

I'm quite proud of that moveset cuz Raticate can handle almost every opponent!^^ I think it's the strongest Pokemon in my team. Thx to the advice of Mondays suck, I think I'll replace Focus Energy with Strengh or Ice Beam!^^​

Wartortle Lv.30​

Hmm, it's my secound fighter and the moveset is okay, but not perfect. It would be with Surf instead of water gun and Ice Beam instead of Tail Whip but it's quite okay!^^ Most of the opponents I own with Mega Punch.​

well, what can I say 'bout it? It's my Cut slave and probably my Flash, too but if I recall, you don't really need Flash in Red to see the Rock Tunnel well...​

I hope I'll do it to Rock Tunnel today!^^ And I planned to put Eevee and Tangela in my team but I'm not completly sure about Tangela. Hmmm... We'll see!^^​

Energiefokus is called Focus Energy in English btw, not Energy Focus, and I advise to remove it, its glitched in RBY and lowers the crit ratio instead of raising it.

I finished Blue 4 hours before I was supposed to!! Here are the pics.

I beat the Elite Four. The play time is incorrect, it was more like 36 hours.

My finishing team. Ultraslave is a Mew HM slave. I used all my Rare Candies on him because they're horrible for the stats.

Randall, my Blastoise. Awesome moveset, he can take down anyone.

Skynyrd, my Pidgeot. I only really use Wing Attack and Fly with him.

Bauer, my Raticate. He can take down anyone. He still has some damn strange moves, but I still like that.

Corpse, my Butterfree. I've never actually used Solarbeam, it's kind of just.... There. I like his moveset, he's good for battling most Pokémon.

Spears, my Goldbat. I only use Wing Attack and Bite with him. I'll occasionally use Confuse Ray, though.

UltraSlave, my Mew. He's an HM slave. I use all my Rare Candies on hm because they're bad for stats.

Put me on for Silver!!

I'm in Goldenrod, haven't challenged Whitney yet.

My party. I was supposed to name Sentret but accidentally didn't. I haven't needed any HM slaves yet, hopefully I never will.

Sentret, horrible moveset. He was with the daycare for a lttle, just so I'd have space for a Ditto to put in the daycare because I always do that once I get to Goldenrod.

Bauer, Moveset will change, but for now he's good. I just need some TMs, I'm earning money for the supermart.

Randall, I'm waiting until he learns some good attacks because I know he does (Typhlosion is my favorite Pokémon ever).

Skynyrd, not done training him so no comments for now.

I changed a bit on the moveset but I'm still not happy with that. Mega Kick wasn't what I thought it would be, so I think I'll go for Mega Punch again but Ice Beam is definitively an improvement, it owns much more now!^^​

I'm not very happy about that moveset. Bite is okay and Double Team is great (no Aerial Ace existing!^^), but ember is a terrible STAB. If it is really hard, then I use Take Down.​

I got rid of the Tangela idea when I received Hitmonlee. It's truely awesome so far, especially Hi-Jump kick. And with Seismic Toss it can beat up Ghosts easily!^^ And if I get into a hard situation, I'll use Double-Edge!^^​

I beat Rock Tunnel with mostly Machop, which is now a Machamp. I also caught a Growlithe, and it's horrible, but I hope it will get better as soon as it gets better moves.

Awesome. Probably my strongest teammember. Well, it was before I did this:

Bello / Arcanine Lv.50
- Bite
- Hyper Beam
- Ember
- Flamethrower
As I said, I exaggerated. Hyper Beam because it doesn't have to recharge when it kills in this gen, and there aren't many alternatives.
The nickname is a stereotypical dog name, I was uncreative once again.

You should teach it BubbleBeam (Misty), Surf, and Ice Beam/Blizzard. Keep Hyper Fang, though, and never teach it Super Fang!!

In my opinion Raticate does better with a physical moveset, something like Body Slam (better than Hyper Fang), Dig (Ground+Normal covers anything except for Aerodactyl), Super Fang (it's useful. Later on.) and a filler.

Update: Finished Red. It was easy. The Elite 4 battles were like this:
Lorelei: Machamp beat the Water/Ice types (crit Rockslide OHKOd Lapras), Fearow beat Slowbro, Arcanine beat Jynx.
Bruno: OHKO fest. Blastoise and Fearow sweeped everything
Agatha: Blastoise. Machamp for Arbok so Blastoise doens't get too overleveled.
Lance: Once again, Blastoise. Accidentally used Dig instead of Surf against Aero and got hit heavily by a Hyper Beam, so Machamp had to deal with Dragonite, i didn't want Blastoise to die. Oh wait, Gyara was also killed by Machamp, not Blastoise.
Blue: Pidgeot? Blastoise. Alakazam? Fearow. Rhydon? Blastoise. Gyara? Machamp (ran out of Rock Slide PP here, but Body Slam was enough). Arcanine? Blastoise. Venusaur? Arcanine. Because it hadn't seen much other E4 use yet.

How did Oak become a professor btw, he's pretty dumb... He thinks Flash is a necessarity:

More Update: Started in Silver, chose Cyndaquil, blah blah, caught a Wooper. Did stuff. Arrived at Goldenrod and got Kenya the Spearow.

I needed a Christmas themed name for this, so I named it after the king Herodes.
This thing had some serious trouble to beat Bugsy or my rival as a level 19 Wooper, but after I leveled it up one more level and it evolved, everything was easy.

Once again, this makes a comeback. It's mainly there for beating Grass types, because Quagsire will be my main Pokemon. I'm using this and not Cyndaquil because it levels a lot faster.

I couldn't update last night (computer troubles), so I'm going to update right now.

Just outside of cerulean, I have 2 or 3 Kanto badges.

Typhlosion, he's good enough.

Mostly Fury Attack and Drill Peck for him.

I have no idea why I let him hold a Slowpoke Tail o_O. I'm going to get some water TMs to teach him.

I use her, but she's an HM slave nonetheless. Pretty good Pokémon in general.

Togetics grow too fast, I gave him an Exp. Share and suddenly he became my strongest Pokémon without me even noticing.

I needed him for Waterfall ad Whirpool, I was going to put Beedrill back but then I realized how sucky it was compared to Gyrados.

I will update at 8:00 again, the game should be beaten by then.

I finished Silver ^-^

Red's gone, as you can see.

I grinded after losing to Red once.

Bauer, my Raticate. I taught him Super Fang because I figured it would be useful against Red. I didn't use it once. I used him and Randall against Pikachu. Bauer weakened it and Randall took over. It defeated Espeon with Furret.

Randall, my Typhlosion, my pride and joy. Every Typhlosion is that to me. His moveset is good enough, ThunderPunch is helpful with training, seeing as there is one type that it is effective against that is pretty much the sole inhabitant of many locations. It defeated Red's Blastoise in two moves. It also defeated Venasaur, Pikachu (partly), Charizard (with revives and potions), and Snorlax (although I did need a revive on him for Snorlax).

I only used Gyrados as a disposable for healing other Pokémon.

Erhart, my Togetic. Erhart helped a bit with Red's Espeon. Other than that, he didn't do much.

Furret. He helped with a lot of Pokémon, but never actually KOed any.

Skynyrd, my Fearow. He didn't help much. In fact, I don't think he even hit anyone o.o

Still put me in the hall of fame, but make sure you mention that I'm playing Sapphire now.

Update: Beat most Kanto gyms before Snorlax now, and noticed that I - once again - forgot to get the stupid radio. Oh, and the bicycle too.

Update:
Activated the train and got the radio. Beat Snorlax, beat remaining gyms.
Beat Red.

It took me numerous attempts to beat Venusaur, but when Fearow finally managed to beat it, Quagsire had no problems to beat the rest of his team.

Adding Hoenn to this seems like a good idea to me, I will also play it.
There's a NU tier in that gen, I will use them, not the UUs.

Did not faint. Except for some early battles before it had evolved (and all of them either involved a wild Bellsprout (they easily outspeeded Wooper) or were located in Azalea), but I had saved before them (yes, I saved in front of patches of grass, afraid that Bellsprout might spawn) because I was expecting it and just trying how far I get (this excludes the Bellsprouts)

This was the first time a Fearow I used had problems to beat Red's Venusaur... Apart from this, it worked well, though...

GIANORMOUS UPDATE!​

Yeah, I played almost the whole day red yesterday, unfortunately I couldn't get on a computer (I hacked the Wii to play GB or GBA Games on it!^^), so I couldn't update yesterday. Today, I haven't played cuz i got my Explorers of sky for christmas and I played it very long. I also got Brawl which was even better, so I had a lot to play!^^ But I'll try to play a bit Red today, maybe I'll even beat it! :D Well, here is what I did so far:​

-kicked some koga butt
-Gor HM Surf
-Got HM Strength
-Beat up Zapdos (Screenie available)​

-Beat up Articuno (Screenie of that is available)

-Owned all the rockets in the Silph Co. (have 4 screenshots of the Rocket Bros.)

-got to Cinnabar island
-My whole team is above 50 which is an epic moment for me!^^
-Got the key to open Blaine's arena

I really improved the moveset of Blastoise. Earthquake replaced dig which was a really good change, and Strength solved my Mega Kick problem. Yeah, it got pretty good!^^​

I finally got rid of Focus Energy, i taught him Body Slam instead. It now owns much more!^^​

Flareon Lv.52​

That's the first time I really say that this is a good moveset: Fire Blast is a nice STAB, Bite is a good filler, Double team for defense and Take down for harder opponents.​

WHAT?! I couldn't teach him Earthquake :/. Oh well, my physical behemoth, he easily removed those pesky ghost types Agatha likes to use so much, and nabbed a few other useful KOs.

-Fire Spin

I was shocked at how well a combination of Toxic and Fire Spin easily defeated the bulkiest of Pokemon, anyways, a very useful pokemon of my UU challenge team.

Now i have finished Yellow and am moving on to Crystal, will update soon.

Whirlwind is to blow annoyinf foes away, Sand-Attack is against stronger foes, Gust and Quick Attack are both STAB.

Sing is pretty to make foes fall asleep, ice Punch against rock and ground-pokes, Pound is STAB and Rollout is for owning!^^
