    [PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Radio Makhia

    Plot and Story
In the backward region of Ghogan, emerging from a war that ended approximately 20 years ago, strange events begin to occur. Some Pokémon are experiencing peculiar symptoms, and three shady characters appear to be involved. It's up to you and your mate Jack, new trainers in the region and signed to this year's League, to uncover who is behind all of this.

(In this "reality", masterballs are not been invented, and Leggendary Pokemon cannot be captured by regular pokeballs. This is worldbuilding only, Legendary Pokemon can be captured as well).

    Features
    • 46 new Pokemon!
    • A new region to explore, with gyms and Pokemon League!
    • New moves and abilities!
    • Approximately 18 ours of gameplay!
    • No usable items when fighting a trainer (of course held items are allowed)!

Hey, I've been playing the game and I'm having a good time so far.
I do have a bunch of complaints regarding general balance and QoL that seems missing.
The two biggest issues I have are the lack of speed up button and Exp Share.
The speedup button I can get behind by using speedhack, but the lack of Exp Share makes the experience much more agonizing than it should be.
I'm 2 gyms in and I had to wrack my head over how to beat the Absol of that Gym Leader. The only available Fighting type around is Stufful, and it doesn't learn any Fighting moves until very late. Moreover that Absol is lv19 and has access to Swords Dance and priority moves - seems extremely overpowered compared to everything else I have.
The lack of Exp Share makes it difficult to grind levels, especially since I need to do it for every Pokemon individually.
After that, I'm stuck at a mandatory trainer battle in the cave, that all of a sudden has a level 25 Swoobat that destroys my entire team.
I understand that there was a split after gym 1, I took the north path, and I don't know if I had gone east then things would be easier. If that's the case, the game needs some serious rebalancing.
Also, not having access to the PBS folders in a game with Fakemon isn't great - I want to know the stats, abilities etc. of the new mons, and I don't really like going in blind based on appearence only.

Beyond those things, the game is pretty fun and has an interesting story hook and ideas. Interested to know where you'd go with it, and I hope you'll implement some changes regarding what I just mentioned.
    Thanks!

I agree with you mate, I think the Ghost route may have been simpler but I agree there aren't great choices of Pokemon to fight the Gyms. Even with a Fire starter the first gym was very tough and the creator doesn't even give Pokeballs to catch mons before battling them. There is one Pokeball and one Great Ball which if you fail to catch anything with, I think you just stop playing the game. Had to keep resetting the game until I could catch a Tailow and land a crit using Focus Energy for first gym's ace, otherwise I wouldn't even defeat him.

I think there are some bad game design choices here, but there are many good ones too, although they get overshadowed by the annoying things.

    BUG FIX
    Version 1.0.2

    • Now the game saves the data in the foder "AppData/Roaming/Pokemon Radio Makhia", and it shouldn't interfere anymore with other savefiles.
    • If you downloaded and already played versions 1.0.0 and 1.0.1, and want to update to 1.0.2, you have to manually create a folder named Pokemon Radio Makhia inside the folder AppData/Roaming, and put there the savefile (Game.rx data) you already have.

After the 3rd gym and the Steelix battle, the trainers in the North Mine are way too powerful. I'm barely hitting 30 for my team and they have a lvl 43+ Crobat team??

Q1; How does Vapit Evolve? Its lvl 33 now and still super weak

EDIT - Oh it looks like the path on the West Side North opened with easier to manage enemies.. I'll try that way.
