Wouldnt ranger for wii be awsome?!! full 3d worlds, caves, buildings, cities, ect.

i can just picture using the wiimote as a stylus, twirling it around like a ranger. so, wouldnt it be awsome? lets discuss what features would be in it :)

Wow, pokemon on the wii will be pretty cool.
(even though ranger 3 coming soon)

    Hmm features?

Ranger's a spin off, so...yeah. Movin' there. As for the concept, no comment.

Me and my friend though of that, and actually we are working on that.

    Pokemon Ranger - Vatonage Wii.

We done the basics, and now learning C++.

This idea is copyrighted to Donnaclus and the tornado.

That would be awesome! Imagine seeing your partner Pokemon jumping in in full 3-D!

Features... how about when an urgent message comes in, the Wiimote beeps and the message comes through the remote speaker, like a walkie-talkie?

    Thought of that already before.

    Hey , cool idea !

Well , let's see ... what about including some sort of obstacle-catching-contest (name needs to be thought) where there are constantly appearing obstacles on the actching field , making it all harder . That would make the replayabiliity even BIGGER !

I actually thought of making this before. But then I got pretty lazy, and decided it wouldn't be worth it.

Though I probably would not mind playing it.

That would be sweet. They could also give rangers hp. We would have to dodge attacks and try to capture pokemanz at the same time :D but then again....that might be too hard....and you'd probably be able to react with a widder variety of pkmns too.

yeah, i can picture that being challenging with a bunch of pokemon runnig at you on screen...

That would be cool...aside from the fact that that would be nearly IMPOSSIBLE (or just extremely challenging), to twirl around the Wiimote into an almost perfect circle let alone not let it touch the Pokémon or their attacks. If they somehow did some kind of change to make it a little easier (like the gameplay slower, though that would take the fun out of it), that'd be great.

But seeing Rangers in real 3D would be awesome. But really, seeing any DS game on the Wii is great.

    I can SOO imagine that!

That would be SOOOO fun, I would definately play it!

Interesting idea. Maybe one will come out in the future. :D

... Not in the design notes, sorry.

What is the styler for, then?
And by the way you gotta capture all 493.

yeah, i can picture that being challenging with a bunch of pokemon runnig at you on screen...

    Haha well...

There is an actual big problem for making it 3D.
How would you control the disk when your looking at the game in 3D?
You should at least need to make it birds eye view for it to work.

I'll tell you how it will look like.

The camera comes on the ranger and the game says : It's a wild Torterra!

And the ranger presses a button on the styler and says capture on!

Then the Camera turns Birds-eye. To capture, you must press Z on the Nunchuck while twirling the Remote.

Besides, there is no (capture field.) The capture 'field' is a birdseye of a the place you find the Pokémon. For example. you'll have to catch Heatran, Lucario and Cresselia in these narrow rooms, and Darkrai on Altru Tower top. And while capturing Froslass of Ice, do not hit the Riolu barrier (unless you wanna break your styler.)

That would be cool...aside from the fact that that would be nearly IMPOSSIBLE (or just extremely challenging), to twirl around the Wiimote into an almost perfect circle let alone not let it touch the Pokémon or their attacks. I know Esmas. But it needs focus. Just focus. Play some time on the photo channel, maybe. Why, perfecting thast may get me the chance to do the same for a Kirby Canvas Curse. ^_^

    I can SOO imagine that!

That would be SOOOO fun, I would definately play it!

Interesting idea. Maybe one will come out in the future. :D

    We'll work on that. :D

ZOMG THE EPICNESS WOULD BE IMMENSE!
    Imagine 3D Darkrai!!!
also maybe you could add head tracking!
(For head tracking info check youtube)
Soooo how are you guys making it cause i know a little C++

Um, this isn't a thread about a fan-game, it's discussing about an actual release -_-

Focus? I think it'd be too hard to play for a beginner, if not impossible.

    >_> *is embarassed*
Anyway, dont you think they should have standards for the test so say when you do the test your styler is at 4 health left you start off with a lower rank and if you do an S or A rank you start of at a higher ranger rank?
Also imagine a branch off story that if you fail i.e your styler breaks you go home to your mom and she reveals she was once a ranger and gives you a styler and a recharging unit, and you have to stop a.... idk maybe a Rhyhorn destroying the forest by knocking the tree's down so when you catch it you become a ranger at an even higher rank than if you passed the test with A or S capture?

I think Ranger should stay on the DS. I agree with the problem that swinging magical circles every battle with your arm would be too much of a hassle in the long run. The aim would be hard, like someone said, as well.

They need to make a Wii series of games that could actually be good for the Wii already. :< I don't want more rehashes of current spin-offs.

=_= is it really an official release ?

I never really liked the ranger games. It really twisted what Pokemon was, how can you tame a pokemon by encircling it many times? The concept is strange, but the game kinda worked on the DS. However, on the Wii, it would probably not work as well. Unless you're making the motions like the rangers do, which would still look and most likely feel very odd. I don't really think the game would work out that well.
