Pokemon RPG: Taion Adventures!​

Welcome to the World of Pokemon!​

The world of Pokemon, a place full of many surprises. A world where humans and Pokemon live together. Some living in peace, love, and happiness... others live in hate, reject, and suffer the cruel things about life... but if you think about it, Pokemon and humans could live together without extreme consequence. Unless their owners are cruel of heart, like a number of organizations scattered across the Pokemon World. The World consists of many continents and regions, Kanto, and Johto are located in the center of Japan, Hoenn is located far to the east of those two, and finally Sinnoh was located at the north-most-point of Japan. All these region are home to creatures known only as Pokemon.

But there is a newly discovered region. The region of Taion. Taion... The southern most point of Japan. Here, there are many Pokemon Trainers, aiming to be the best with aid from Prof. Willow. The top scientist in Taion. There are also Pokemon Coordinators, aiming to beat the Grand Festival and being the top coordinator. But there are also thieves and crooks, the lowliest of them all is known only as... Team Neo. This is the most evil organization in Taion, and probably the entire world. They do various maniacal things: Steal Pokemon from innocent bystanders, make them do their biddings, and worst of all, capture and use for evil, legendary Pokemon. Thanks to their constant interfering in Taion, the slumber of the heaven Pokemon that controls the seasons in Taion was disrupted and was awakened. Her son, the hell pokemon was created from a cell from his mother and is infused with all the hate, and nightmares in Taion thanks to Team Neo's top scientist. The hell pokemon now haunts the earth for revenge. The pokemon of earth, the keeper of a magical stone, has not been awakened at all, and may be the only key to save Taion. The three legendary pokemon of Taion are now in a rage, running across the region of Taion. Worst of all, all these events are occurring right during the time that Professor Willow, the top leading pokemon scientist in all of Taion is sending out three trainers to complete his updated pokedex created by him and the famous Professor Oak. Can these three teenagers face all the perilous events? Who knows…?

Pokemon Basics:

Pokemon Trainers:

At the age of twelve, any person can obtain their Training License from designated distributors. A Training License allows a person to legally own and battle Pokemon.

Once a year, Pokemon trainers can enlist in a Pokemon league. Official League battles are any battles that take place between two members of the league. Gym battles, Invitational, major tournaments, etc. are usually televised. Once a year, the championship tournament is held, where trainers with at least eight gym badges compete to be recognized as the best trainer in the league. Unless previously agreed otherwise, official league battles are three-on-three, free substitution. The exception to this is Gym Leaders in gym battles, who are not allowed substitution.

Pokeballs: The basic tool for any Pokemon Trainer is the Pokeball. Now since the first discovery of Pokemon there have been many types of pokeballs and modifiers to the original. This list has both their English and Japanese names, refer to them in whichever form you want.

Pokeball: The original model, transparent red top, solid white bottom. It doesn't have any perks to it, just a plain pokeball.

Greatball: This model is an enhanced model from the original ball, it has an enhanced capture rate.

Ultraball: This is the highest capture rate enhanced model of the pokeball arsenal. These pokeballs usually host rare pokemon to ensure their capture.

Safariball: This is a special model that is used only in a designated Safari Zone for special captures in the premises of the park. This is the most manufactured model of them all, due to the fact that a host has to give a trainer twenty Safariballs for their game.

Quickball: This model is very good to capture wild pokemon at the beginning of the battle. Very quick pokemon that may escape are vulnerable to this model of pokeball.

Heavyball: This model scans the weight of the targeted pokemon. The heavier the pokemon is the higher capture rate this ball will gain.

Moonball: This pokeball is very rare to create, thus this pokeball works greatly better on a few rare pokemon that enable the moonstone item to evolve.

Lureball: Pure water types are very vulnerable to this pokeball as it "lures" in water pokemon making them more appealed to this pokeball.

Friendball: Any pokemon can be caught with this ball, it isn't very different from the original ball. Except for the key element of friendship; any pokemon caught with this ball starts off more tame, making it easier for the trainer to befriend it.

Levelball: A pokemon that is a lower level than the caught pokemon battling it will be easier to capture.

Loveball: This specific ball works better if the wild pokemon is of the opposite gender of the pokemon battling it.

Parkball: This pokeball is the counterpart to the Safariball, in Taion there is also a large park-like area with many environments. There are certain contests for a variety of pokemon to be caught with these Parkballs.

Netball: This pokeball has a special material used for a net, so thus, this pokeball is highly effective against both water and bug pokemon..

Diveball: Pokemon found in the deep waters through either fishing or other ways can be easily caught against this model.

Nestball: A wild pokemon that is weaker in general, both level and health, can be caught very simply using this type of ball.

Repeatball: Pokemon that you have caught before are in better range of capture if you use this model. So you won't have to struggle just to capture the same kind of pokemon.

Timerball: The longer your battle against a wild pokemon lasts the more vulnerable they'll be to this pokeball.

Luxuryball: This ball is the newly created counterpart of the Friendball of Johto. Pokemon are instantly more comfortable in this pokeball.

Premierball: This pokeball is no higher in a capture rate than the original model, it is just a pokeball created for a special event.

Healball: This model is no more better than capturing a pokemon than a regular pokeball heals a pokemon's complete status after capture.

Duskball: This model is twice as effective than an Ultraball at capturing pokemon in a dark place, be it a cave, or at night in general.

Frostball: This is a newly created model that enable a trainer to have a better chance at capturing either an ice type pokemon or just a pokemon in a snowy condition.

Miniball: This newly created model enhances the change of capturing a smaller size pokemon, just like the Heavyball this pokemon scans the weight of a pokemon and the overall size. The lighter and smaller the pokemon is the higher success of capture a trainer has.

Wannabeball: These pokeballs were not originated from the original producer but instead there are certain pokeballs that bystanders created known as Wannabeballs, not better than a regular pokeball, but made to look like a Masterball.

Masterball: This pokeball is a very unique ball. It was only manufactured for trained and authorized trainers to use. The targeted pokemon has no chance of breaking out, when you throw this pokeball it is automatically captured.

Cities and Towns

Olbranch Town: Welcome to your new home: Olbranch Town. The small township is located in the southern region of Taion, surrounded on all sides by light forest . Though you will stray far from home while exploring Taion and becoming a Pokemon Master, this place will always remain special.

Pepperminto City: Pepperminto City is the biggest township you have visited yet. The city has its own Gym, which is where you must go to probe yourself as a Pokemon Trainer. Although you cannot compete in the Pepperminto Gym just yet (Patience Young Trainer) stop in and say hello to the leader.

Marshmall City: Marshmall City is home to the first Gym you can compete in- against Gym Leader Joel. After touring this pleasant little burg, head for the Gym and prove yourself against this accomplished Trainer. Emerge victorious and you are well on your way to becoming a Pokemon Master.

Cinnaside City: Your next stop, Cinnaside City, lies along the coast of western Taion. After passing through the rocky straits, you come to this quiet community, complete with its own Gym.

Lollycoal City: Lollycoal City is situated at the north end of the large mountain range known as Sol. The city hosts its own Gym, in which you must compete if you want to earn the necessary talents to progress deep into Taion. Check out all of the town's features, as there is a lot to do in Lollycoal that you cannot do elsewhere, such as get a bike or try out the Poke-Park Challenge!

Hershboro Town: Hershboro, a small town at the mouth of the Hershboro Ruins, is home to one of the four Battle Tents in Taion. This small town has a lot of big-city features, including a Pokemart and Pokemon Center. It's also where Prof. Gizmo does his research on fossils. As you continue into the heart of Taion, Hershboro is a great place to replenish supplies and rest your Pokemon before getting back to your adventure.

Kittokat City: At the other entrance of Mt. Sol you come to Kittokat City. Too bad you couldn't come here before, that darn boulder! Kittokat City is one of the major Taion metropolises complete with Battle Tent, AND contest hall. After your done sight-seeing take a gander at the gymleader- Fiona the sky tamer.

Caramell Plains City: Located near the center landmass, Caramell Plains City is a small town nestled on the flatland. Though the city is very isolated from the other cities, it still boats many modern conveniences, such as a Pokemart and pokemon center, as well as a gym in the town's center.

Cotonridge City: If Cotonridge City isn't one of the biggest metro centers in Taion, it's at least the biggest hub of commerce in the center land. The Cotonridge Department Store is a multi-story monument of the fine art of shopping. However, there's certainly more to do in town than just spending your hard-won cash. Stop by the Contest Hall, visit the Art Museum for a dose of culture, or visit the ever-so-fun Safari Zone! And of course there's always the Cotonridge Gym!

Frosturf Island: Frosturf Island is an island metropolis to the western of Taion's main landmass. The island is home to the Frosturf Gym and a battle tent, and Taion's abandoned Deep-sea Center, the Submarine science facility that once furthered Deep-sea exploration. But as years passed the waters around the island froze over. A lone submarine, incapable of running for ten years, is about to start! Better head to the Deep-sea Center and check it out. 73

Taraminde Town: Just off the north-east coast of Taion is Taraminde Town. Only accessible during the night time, this town is home to the amazing Grand Festival. The dream of Pokemon Co-ordinators everywhere. But it is also keeper of the Taraminde Cave, a mystical place where the secrets of Legendary Pokemon await a talented Trainer. Are you that Trainer?

Vanilbay City: Vanilbay City is a very small town. It is the final city on the road to the Taion Pokemon League. Many trainers stop by this town to stock up on supplies. Though small, this town is host to the biggest Pokemon Center, Pokemart, and Battle Tent in the region. Only two homes are nestled in the town besides these giant buildings.

Sucar Castle[Taion Pokemon League]: Locate in the center of a large plain, the Pokemon League, where Pokemon Trainers aspire to take on the Elite Four. The Elite Four are the greatest Pokemon Trainer in Taion- do you have the skill and talent to take them on and prove yourself to the champion?

One day, a robber broke into the ranch. Ray knew that if he didn't stop the robber, There might be injuries, or even deaths. H rushed over to his favorite pokemon, Eevee. "Eevee" he said. "your going to have to obey me for now. The eevee seemed to know what was going on, and nodded. Ray had studied pokemon for many years, so he knew what moves Eevee had. Ray made Eevee use a shadow ball on one of the crooks. The other one ran away, afraid of being killed. The crook was put in jail, and Ray won a medal and the key to the city.

Hair Style: Lionus's hair is kept neat and clean. He makes it seem like a lion's mane(goes all around his face). It ,however, has a few annoying strands that always fall in his face.

Body Structure: Lionus has long legs and long arms. His body is very large, muscular frame(broad shoulders). His face is very narrow with distinct features, like the scar across his left eye.His skin is very tan from all the time he spends outside. He has a few freckles around his nose.
Basic Clothing: Lionus wears a pair of orange ski goggles. The band is an ordinary black. He wears an orange hoodie that is just a little to small. He wears it to show his muscular frame. Oversized black running shorts are his favorite, they have two white vertical stripes going down either leg. They are nice and easy to move around in. A pair of faded worn out running shoes adorn his feet. They are laced up with white laces. His socks are thin, and very white.
Pajamas: Lionus wears to bed what he wears on cold days. Only with a few accessories discarded. His shorts are changed to sweats, and his shoes are gone and replaced with thick socks. The sweats are mainly a black color with two white, verical stripes running down his legs. The socks are a plain black.
Bathing Suit: Lion's bathing suit is whatever pair of shorts that he is wearing that day. He kicks off his shoes and socks, and pulls off his shirt. After that, he is ready to jump into the water. However, on some occasion's he wears next to nothing. He will wear a white swim cap that covers down to his ears, and small red speedo. He only wears the second outfit when in swimming competitions or when swimming to help his body.
Accessories: Around this buff kid's neck is a stopwatch. He uses it to time runs, swims, and other exercises. The stop watch is waterproof so that he could go under water with it. When he is under water, he can not hear the beeping so he switches it to a vibration. His stopwatch also has a few other features. Like a timer, and alarm clock.

Personality: Despite his appearance Lionus is actually a gentle person. He is cold, intimidating and fierce on the outside, but on the inside he is a gentle, warm, caring person. While he isn't the smartest person around, he just a few points below an average IQ. He is quick to act,however, he will not ever change his mind. Lion is a very proud person, much like a lion. He doesn't back down from challenges, ever. He always pushes himself just a little to hard; giving 110%. He feels it necessary to keep himself in shape all the time. So, he keeps a regular workout routine. Because of his past, he feels the need to protect all of his friends. His past is also the reason that he is afraid of heights and the reason that he pushes himself so hard.

When Lionus is forced to go up really high, he will freeze up and break down. If someone gets injured and he feels that he could've done something about it, he will run and spend a while by himself. He has major claustrophobia and can not be stuck in places that are small. He however feels fine if he can willing leave the place. If he gets to "over the top" with one emotion he will mediatate to calm himself down.

Flexibility is important to a strong body, that is what Lion thinks. He is very flexible. To be a succesful fighter one must also be quick. They must go on first impulse and live with their consquences. A true warrior needs great endurance and needs to give better than their best. That is what he believes in. So, he always gives his best.

History:Lionus was born in Marshmall city. Two weeks following that his family moved to Olbranch city for a new job that his mom got. Through his baby and toddler years Lionus was a sickly child. He was almost always sick. Until one day a traveler came through town. He looked at Lionus and said that he was blessed by the gods. That he was a lion in past life and meant for great things. That he, one day, would be very succesful and lead. Ever since then, Lionus has never gotten sick. When he turned ten, his dad worked out with him. They lifted weights and ran around a track. Lionus however, hated the lessons and skipped some. He went on a journey with his friend one day into the forest. They climbed a tall tree. Lionus sat upon a thick branch while his friend's was pretty slim. It snapped. Lion grabbed his friend, but couldn't hold on for long. He couldn't pull his friend up, and dropped him. From that day on his friend was paralyzed from the neck down. His friend would never be able to become a trainer like they had wished. Lionus blamed it on himself. He thinks that if he went to those lessons he could've hoisted his friend up and saved him. Now, he goes to all his lessons, and trains everyday. He can't allow something like that to happen.

When he turned 13, he was given a present. His very own stopwatch. From that day, he trained on his own. His dad also took him around to competitions. He won first place in two swimming ones, first place in one running one, and second in two more running ones. Later he enrolled in a karate class. He graduated fourth in his class, but only because he missed some vital lessons. The last medal he ever won was one for a boxing tournament. He came in third place, by a technical issue. He feels that, that isn't really a win, so doesn't treat it as such. After that, his parents said that he was strong enough to go on a Pokémon journey, but he felt he wasn't emotionaly ready yet. So, he took some yoga and mediation classes. When he turned fourteen he felt ready.

Emil was done with all the cheering, and congratulating. He was glad to finally get to go to his dorm and get his things. All he had now for protection was a thin metal vest which he wears under his shirt. He left his dorm, getting awkward stares from some of the students. One walked up to him.

"Hey, aren't you one of those people that was up with the Alpha Squad?"

"Yes, I was..Why?"

"Oh, I just wanted to wish you luck..."

"Thank you. Who are you?"

"Err.. a friend. But you are Emil,," she paused a bit,"Emil Lancaster aren't you?"

"What how does she know my name" Emil thought "Who is she.." he gave a smile. "Yes, I am, but.. if you do mind me asking, who are you?"

"I am not surprised you don't recognize me.."

"I don't. Can you tell me who you are?"

"I am Tsuki Lancaster.."

"What? My sister? But you look so different.."

"I know. In those two years of you being gone, I discovered my powers and was sent to this school, but not under the Lancaster name.."

"Why not?"

"Well, something weird happened and I am not a dragon knight?"

"What?"

"Well, I am.. but I haven't found my dragon yet, and I excel in magic.."

Emil stood still. "H-how.." he questioned.

"You have to go.. bye..." Tsuki motioned him towards his rendezvous point. "Oh wait!"

"Hunh?"

"Take this.."

"What is it?"

"A good luck charm, I imbued it with a little bit of magic.."

"Thank you, bye." Emil started to walk off again.

"Oh wait! One more thing!"

"What is it?"

"Good luck, don't kill yourself.."

Emil chuckled. "I won't.." With that he headed off to the rendezvous point. He sat down in the chair and listened to what the Dean was saying. "Ok, the mission is starting.. I can't say that I am to thrilled, but I'll get a bit of a kick from it.." he said quietly to himself. He watched as the short woman stepped up. She did something, and then he felt weightless. Looking around he saw the other people fly up too. Seconds later Emil found himself on the ground surronded by trees. He recollected himself and looked around. Good, everyone was there. He turned his head to the one he thought would be their leader. Shin. He heard other students call him that.

Shin used some sort of attack. His shield was covered in mist, and then the demon who came charging was skewered.

"He is not as bad as I thought he was.." Emil ran up a bit. Two more demons were rushing up. In a flash he whipped out his hammers and brought them down upon the ground. He also at this time used his Hammer Slam technique. It made a bug who had just come up fall over. Readying for another technique Emil pulled his hammers apart and then slammed them together. An invisible shock wave was sent through the air, hitting the bug dead on. It was slice in half, two body halves fell to the ground. "Woah.. I didn't know that it could do that.." he was surprised at his ability. A large grin spread across his face. "Well, this is funner than I thought.." He turned to Shin. "Yo, you.. I take you want the leader roll around here, right? I think you would be best for it... I mean considering how you just rushed into a battle without even analyzing the enemy.." he had a sarcastic tone in his voice, and the grin turned into a smirk as he waited for his "friend's" reply. "I mean, it was gonna attack you, but you have a big shield.. you could've batted it away with your shield and then checked for weak spots.."

Hair Length: No further than the collar; slightly over the ear.
Hair Style: Just a simple 'Just-Woke-Up' style, which is occasionally combed.
Eye Color: Grey's eyes are constantly changing between a dark brown, like his hair, to an emerald green which didn't show in any of his other family members. Occasionally, the colors are mixed, usually with brow on the outside of the iris and the emerald green close to the pupil.
Height: Somewhere around 5'5"; Grey has never actually measured himself
Weight: 89 lbs
Body Structure: He is 'shrimpy' you might say. He doesn't work out, and doesn't have much meat on his bones. He wears a formal watch, nothing fancy though. He usually wears contacts, but if you catch him on a bad day he will be wearing wire-rimmed glasses. He has a few freckles here and there across his face. He has a skinny nose, and has the first signs of acne appearing on his forehead. He has a normal sized chin, and thin lips. He is usually wearing gloves on his hands to cover up his bony fingers. His arms are skinny and most would be able to wrap their hand around his wrists. His legs are the same as his arms: skinny and bony. He has fairly big feet for his small size. A good word to describe his figure is 'lanky'.
Basic Clothing: Grey wouldn't be caught dead in shorts. He always wears jeans, and is okay with short sleeved shirts. Underneath his shirt he always wears a white undershirt. Over his shirt he usually wears a gray hoodie (ironic, aye?). He has bleach-white sneakers; they look as if they have never been worn. Though you can't see his socks, he usually wears the socks that are hidden beneath the shoe.
Pajamas: Grey usually wears his clothes from the day before to bed, but occasionally wears long, cotton sweats and a gray or black short-sleeved T-shirt. Grey never wears socks to bed, though he knows that socks would keep him warmer at night.
Bathing Suit: Though Grey rarely swims, he always keeps a swimsuit in the chest of drawers. Tucked away under all of Grey's commonly worn clothes is Grey's swimsuit which usually has a thin layer of dust coating the fabric. It is simple, with a dark blue 'background' with white stripes on each sides.
Accessories: Grey doesn't wear much around his neck, or anywhere, for that matter. He would never think of a tattoo, just the sheer thought of it makes him shutter. The only thing that Grey has that would be considered an 'accessory' is a small rock, sapphire blue in color, as a remembrance of his father.
Personality: Grey is calm whenever things around him are calm. He is a follower if whatever must get done doesn't affect his grades, etc., but whenever something comes up and it will affect his life he will take the lead of the project and complete it with his best efforts and intentions. His mood changes as the mood of those around him changes. If it is a rainy day, he will most likely be gloomy, but on a bright day he will be happy and calm. Whenever something sad, devastating, happy, or joyous happens, he usually won't show much emotion. A good way to describe his personality is if the weather is good, he's good, but if the weather is gloomy, he's gloomy. Because of his small size he is usually picked on by kids his age and older. Usually the first time they pick on him is also the last. He has a darks side when someone threatens him or tries to hurt him. People learn that despite his laid back person, he can get mad fairly easily. Past: Twenty-two years to the day before Grey was born, his brother, Thorn Jr. was born. Twenty-two years later Grey and his twin sister Scarlett were born on a rainy, gloomy day; his parents were Scarlett and Thorn, both were great, wealthy Pokemon trainers. Sadly, Scarlett died at birth. Then to make his birth sadder, his dad died less than a week later. Now Scarlett was a single mom of to boys: the newborn Grey and Thorn Jr., age 10. Then, when Grey was eight and his brother was 18, their mother died. After the deaths of his parents Thorn became estranged from his only left family member, Grey. He left Grey in the care of Mary Iona, a boring, old caretaker. Luckily for Grey it was only two years before he left on his Pokemon journey. But when Grey finally turned ten, Iona wouldn't let him leave. After another two year wait, Grey was able to leave, but with no Pokemon. On a search to find his brother, he ended up in SangemTown, where there was a Professor, who had a computer. He looked up his brothers name, Thorn Rey Rose Jr. he found out that his brother was the owner of the biggest money-making company and was better known now as Mr. Rose; Grey then knew that his brother would never let him live with him. He was a big shot now, not caring about his orphaned brother. That is when Grey knew that he finally needed to go on his own Pokemon journey.

Chapter 4: Route 30



"Good job, man!" Grey said, then saying with a chuckle, "Did you notice I was gone?"

"Thanks!" Ashton said, a huge smile wrapping around his face, then, "Wait. You… were gone?" Now Ashton looked confused, then a little embarrassed. After all of these facial expressions, Ashton laughed, apparently amused that he hadn't noticed Grey's disappearance.
"Hey Mala," Ashton then said, bending down to talk to his Togepi, "How's about we get to know our new teammate?"
The Togepi then yelled out with a loud for its size, "Gepi!" Grey could tell that the small Togepi was eager to say hi to its new teammate. Ashton then let his PokeBall open, allowing a small, scarlet bug Pokemon appear. The confused Ledyba looked around, still a little shocked from the recent capture.

"Hey there!" Ashton said, getting acquaintance with his new Pokemon by reaching out to pet it. The Pokemon then flew from its' new owner, apparently afraid. "Oh come on! I'm not going to hurt you!" Ashton said, trying to bribe the Ledyba into coming to him with a berry. The Ledyba slowly started making its way towards the berry. Slowly, she took the berry from Ashton's hands and took a few bites. Then, the Pokemon looked surprised, like it thought the berry was going to be disgusting but turned out great. "See?" Ashton then said, "I'm you friend!" Then Ashton reached out once again and succeeded to pet his newly acquired friend. "I think we'll be good friends...Kalli" Ashton said, pausing to give a name for his new Pokemon.

"Well, let's head off into the rest of the route, shall we?" Ashton asked Grey.
"Yeah, lets get out of here," Grey replied as Ashton picked up Mala and allowed Kalli to fly behind him. The two started walking north, to leave the route and end up in the DarkCave.

Soon, the two's quiet journey was abruptly interrupted by a menacing teenage boy, dressed in black clothing from head to toe. The teen was followed by two strong, but scared, looking Pokemon.
Pointing, the thug said, "You two. I wan't your Pokemon. Battle me for them. Now," Then the thug snapped his large and grubby fingers as his tough-looking Pokemon jumped up from behind him. The Pokemon assumed a battling stance.

"What the heck are you talking about?!" Ashton said, "I'll give you your battle, but there is no way your getting either of our Pokemon!"
"You will never get a hold of our Pokemon! I don't care how grungy or scary you think you look!" Grey chimed in, then noticed how angry the guy looked. Grey wished that he had kept his mouth shut.
Ashton had his PokeDex already pulled out, gathering information about the Pokemon that they were about to face.

"Charmeleon, go after the runt with the Togepi and Ledyba. Scyther, your prey is the one with the Mareep and Hoppip." The boy said with a menacing laugh.

The emerald green Pokemon advanced, ready to whoop Grey's Snow and De. "Scy!" The Pokemon said, with a snake-like voice. Then the Pokemon said, "Scyther! Scythe!" as it menacingly slashed its' scythes at an incredible speed. Then the Pokemon started advancing.

"Okay Scyther, work you're magic! Focus energy!" The Pokemon then stood still in its tracks as it gathered its energy from some unknown source.

"Snow! Tackle! De, splash!" The Mareep rammed the Scyther that was silently focusing its' power. The Pokemon was caught off-guard, and its' focus energy attack was cut short. In the midst of all of this, De was splashing around, not affecting the opponent. Grey sighed, wishing that De had a little more power.

"Hehehe," the thug laughed, "What a useless Pokemon! You can keep it after I whip your butt!"

"Shut up!" Grey yelled, praying that the thug didn't hear him. "Okay, Snow. Give it another tackle, and De, you can heal Snow using synthesis."

"Not so fast, big boy!" the thug said, "Scyther hit 'em hard! Use false swipe! On that weak Hoppip!" The Pokemon rammed up and swiped De with its' sharp scythes, leaving De with only a small bit of help.

Obeying orders, the Hoppip didn't heal itself, but healed Snow. After Snow was back to full health, it tackled the Scyther. The Scyther was now mad, outraged, even. It then let out an attack with no warning. It flew into the air with its off-white wings and tried to slash De, again. De was surprisingly able to dodge the fatal attack.

"Way to go De!" Grey exclaimed, overcome with joy, "Okay. De, heal yourself while Snow tackles."

The two went through the motions once again. De gathered healing energy and soon looked as good as new. De once again charged the Scyther, and blew the tired Pokemon off the ground. Grey could tell that the Scyther was getting tired quicker and quicker; not only because Snow was slowly withering down its' health, but because it was using high energy attacks.

"Okay Scyther. Kill this wimp, now!" The thug once again yelled, making his Scyther work even harder. The Syther flew up into the air and helplessly beat its' wings. The attack, wing attack, didn't have much affect, because the Pokemon wasn't exactly using the move to the moves' full power.

"Snow, give it one more tackle. I don't want to put this Pokemon into more misery that it is already in."

Snow, for a final time charged at the weak Pokemon. With one last hit, the Pokemon went down.

"Oh, you dumb Scyther! I'd get rid of you if you weren't my only other Pokemon!" the thug yelled as he returned the Scyther to its PokeBall.

A tear made its way down Grey's face. This thug was going to release the Scyther, for no reason, whatsoever.

Hair Style: Lionus's hair is kept neat and clean. He makes it seem like a lion's mane(goes all around his face). It ,however, has a few annoying strands that always fall in his face. A few times he has thought of getting a hair cut, but never has. He likes his main, it is more befitting to him and his nickname, Lion.

Body Structure: Lionus has long legs and long arms. His body is very large, muscular frame(broad shoulders). His face is very narrow with distinct features, like the scar across his left eye.His skin is very tan from all the time he spends outside. He has a few freckles around his nose.
Basic Clothing: Lionus wears a pair of orange ski goggles. The band is an ordinary black. He wears an orange hoodie that is just a little to small. He wears it to show his muscular frame. Oversized black running shorts are his favorite, they have two white vertical stripes going down either leg. They are nice and easy to move around in. A pair of faded worn out running shoes adorn his feet. They are laced up with white laces. His socks are thin, and very white.
Pajamas: Lionus wears to bed what he wears on cold days. Only with a few accessories discarded. His shorts are changed to sweats, and his shoes are gone and replaced with thick socks. The sweats are mainly a black color with two white, verical stripes running down his legs. The socks are a plain black.
Bathing Suit: Lion's bathing suit is whatever pair of shorts that he is wearing that day. He kicks off his shoes and socks, and pulls off his shirt. After that, he is ready to jump into the water. However, on some occasion's he wears next to nothing. He will wear a white swim cap that covers down to his ears, and small red speedo. He only wears the second outfit when in swimming competitions or when swimming to help his body.
Accessories: Around this buff kid's neck is a stopwatch. He uses it to time runs, swims, and other exercises. The stop watch is waterproof so that he could go under water with it. When he is under water, he can not hear the beeping so he switches it to a vibration. His stopwatch also has a few other features. Like a timer, and alarm clock.

Personality: Despite his appearance Lionus is actually a gentle person. He is cold, intimidating and fierce on the outside, but on the inside he is a gentle, warm, caring person. While he isn't the smartest person around, he just a few points below an average IQ. He is quick to act,however, he will not ever change his mind. Lion is a very proud person, much like a lion. He doesn't back down from challenges, ever. He always pushes himself just a little to hard; giving 110%. He feels it necessary to keep himself in shape all the time. So, he keeps a regular workout routine. Because of his past, he feels the need to protect all of his friends. His past is also the reason that he is afraid of narrow heights and the reason that he pushes himself so hard.

When Lionus is forced to go up really high, he will freeze up and break down. If someone gets injured and he feels that he could've done something about it, he will run and spend a while by himself. He has major claustrophobia and can not be stuck in places that are small. He however feels fine if he can willing leave the place. If he gets to "over the top" with one emotion he will mediatate to calm himself down.

Flexibility is important to a strong body, that is what Lion thinks. He is very flexible. To be a succesful fighter one must also be quick. They must go on first impulse and live with their consequences. A true warrior needs great endurance and needs to give better than their best. That is what he believes in. So, he always gives his best.

Lion believes that mindless violence, and fighting for no real reason is wrong. He almost always believes that there is another way around war, that you don't have to have the biggest bomb filled with the most gun powder. While he believes that there is a simple way around it all, he sometimes takes the hard way. A lot of the time he purposely takes the hard way. Rarely ever will you see him fighting for no reason. He will only resort to violence if it is a must.

History:Lionus was born in Marshmall city. Two weeks following that his family moved to Olbranch city for a new job that his mom got. Through his baby and toddler years Lionus was a sickly child. He was almost always sick. Until one day a traveler came through town. He looked at Lionus and said that he was blessed by the gods. That he was a lion in past life and meant for great things. That he, one day, would be very successful and lead. Ever since then, Lionus has never gotten sick. When he turned ten, his dad worked out with him. They lifted weights and ran around a track. Lionus however, hated the lessons and skipped some. He went on a journey with his friend one day into the forest. They climbed a tall tree. Lionus sat upon a thick branch while his friend's was pretty slim. It snapped. Lion grabbed his friend, but couldn't hold on for long. He couldn't pull his friend up, and dropped him. From that day on his friend was paralyzed from the neck down. His friend would never be able to become a trainer like they had wished. Lionus blamed it on himself. He thinks that if he went to those lessons he could have hoisted his friend up and saved him. Now, he goes to all his lessons, and trains everyday. He can't allow something like that to happen.

Through out his pre-teen years, Lionus was picked on. Everyone called him a big dumb oaf. If that wasn't enough some local kids heard about what had happened with his friend, and kept on blaming it on him. The leader of the group, a kid named Tommy Talim, was a real snob. Everybody that knew him, simply called him Kidd. They were always picking on Lion and making him feel bad. One day, a girl that he had a crush on, Lolli Pruch stood up for him. She said that it wasn't right to pick on Lionus and try to start fights. They became great friends, and she was one of the few friends that Lion had. When the kids started to tease Lolli, he drew the line there. He walked right up to to Kidd, and said,"You are a insensitive jerk. You care for noone, but yourself. Something is obviously wrong with you and that is what makes you pick on others. That is not the way to deal with it." Kidd only laughed and replied with,"Heh. You used insensitive. Wow! How smart, is that the biggest word in your vocabulary, because I for one am amazed." He continued but Lion blocked him. He picked back up at the end when Kidd called him a big oaf who is useless and nearly killed his friend. Overtaken with anger he smiled. "I need to teach you a lesson" He swung a fist at Kidd, knocking him to the ground. After that Kidd was afraid and never teased anyone. All of the boys in his group started following Lion around thinking he was so cool

When he turned 13, he was given a present. His very own stopwatch. From that day, he trained on his own. His dad also took him around to competitions. He won first place in two swimming ones, first place in one running one, and second in two more running ones. Later he enrolled in a karate class. He graduated fourth in his class, but only because he missed some vital lessons. The last medal he ever won was one for a boxing tournament. He came in third place, by a technical issue. He feels that, that isn't really a win, so doesn't treat it as such. After that, his parents said that he was strong enough to go on a Pokémon journey, but he felt he wasn't emotionally ready yet. So, he took some yoga and mediation classes. When he turned fourteen he felt ready.
Starter: Bufflow
Other: Lion has tried almost all sports but surfing, and snowboarding. He wants to go up in a snowy mountain and feel the cold stinging his face. He wants throw the board down and slide down the hill piling snow up infront of him. Then he wants to jump of his board and roll around in the snow and make snow angels. Finally, when he is cold he will go inside for a nice cup of tea, or as he prefers hot cocoa.

The man that had blessed him, happened to be his grandfather. His grandfather was drafted in the army when he turned old enough and moved to a far away land. After killing so many people he felt that he could not go back to his family, so he faked his death. Later he returned to Taion to see how his family was keeping up. When he looked at Lionus and saw how he was(frail and sickly) he had to help him. So, he used an old trick he picked up. It was to give blind faith to the one who was sick and those around him. If you did that, and made their lives happier then he [the child] would grow up in a happy environment and thrive off the good in the air.

Lion is a single child. He comes from a small family. His parents, like him were only single children. His family consists of:

Brief Personality/History: A tough working individual. He is full of pride, and works a couple of jobs. He works as a swimming coach, boxing coach and runs some tournaments. He is very proud and does what he can. He is not really the best one to talk to when you have an emotional problem, as he can't make heads, nor tails out of them. A bit absent minded he will sometimes think out loud. He gets a little embarrassed about this from time to time.

Brief Personality/History: Kind, caring and an overall gentle woman. She aims to help the world, but struggles in life. She has the lowest position in her job, and gets payed minimum wage. She tries her best to chip in with taking care of Lion, and with pride says."I, one day, will help this world become a better place"

Emil smashed a bug with his hammer. As it's body writhed under the weight, he turned to listen to a comrade. His friend was dressed in orange. He listened to what the boy had to say. "It's not my fault that my attack suddenly got stronger!" he said in a defensive way. "It doesn't matter, we are a team, instead of picking at eachother, we should aid eachother, ya' know like teammates do!" Turning to a bug flying towards him, he raised his hammer, and smashed the bug. Emil took the chance of no bugs coming at him to rest a bit. He knelt down, just to rest his legs, catch a breath, and relax. His time was cut short due to the three charging bugs. He quickly smashed two, leaving him wide open for attack. The final bug took a bite at his arm, it landed a sickening crunch. In pain, Emil dropped his hammer. "Dammit!" He yelled. "Why do I even have to be here, I know that other people did better on the test.. it's probably because of my lineage. Under his breath Emil muttered,"Stupid Lancaster blood.." only someone with supersonic hearing, standing right next to him would've been able to understand what he had said. As the pain inside his arm grew, he dropped his other hammer to grab his arm. "I hope these things aren't poisonous. He sighed, and then sat on a massive uprooted tree.

"What to do..." Emil pondered. Then he remembered the charm. The pain was now to a lesser degree and he had let go. He reached into his pocket, and fingered the charm, wrapping his long, slender fingers around. It was cool, and metalic. It felt good against his heated skin. Slowly, and carefully he pulled the charm out of his pocket. He stared at it's intracate surface. It was a silver color, with a small blue sapphire in the middle. He flipped it over, and red the inscription quietly. "Oh, thee.. great healing magic of thy gods, heal me..""Who wrote this.. a second grader?thought Emil. After reading it a second time it glew, and the inscription changed. It told him to place the charm near any wounds, so he placed it near his arm. A surge of holy light was sent through his body, healing the wound, flushing out the possible toxins, and sealing it up. "Woah, this thing is awesome!" Within in seconds it fell to the ground and shattered. "Er.. well so much for that. Man.. Tsuki is gonna be mad.. But, it's not my fault.." Emil stood up and headed back towards the group. He picked up his hammers, and with no time wasted was charged by two bugs. They had an open shot for Emil. "Not again..." before the could reach him, a creature appeared infront of him. It was a light blue color. "Who is that? Emil thought, to which an answer was given.

<I am Drizz, your dragon. We can mindpseak. Do you wanna be friends? Please?> Drizz ripped the head off of a bug, It flew for a couple seconds after before hopelessly falling to the ground.

<Look, I don't know if now is the best time to talk about this..> Emil smashed an approaching bug. "Hey guys, I think that we need to just run ahead and kill, because staying back and defending isn't doing much. So, I propose we go after we finish this troop." He smashed two more bugs and watched as Drizz tore one's wings off and bit into another stomach. There was two left, Emil smashed his hammers together, and the shockwave tore them in two. This made him feel really good. "Well, Drizz, it's time to move out." He whispered. He walked over to Shin. "Yo, I think we should have a scout of our own go see how Sahri is doing, ya' know a ninja kid. As a matter of fact, I think we are being spied on right now! Look, over there in the trees.." He whispered quietly as not to let the enemy notice him. "I ain't gonna attack him without your consent. Your my leader, and I'll jump when ya' tell me to." He did a salute.

Alex nodded at Ed. "Yeah, I am ready" he said in a low growl. He turned is attention towards the Machamp,gave him a good look up and down, bared his teeth and then lunged at the rather large pokemon. The Machamp swung his arm forward as if to swat away the Growlithe,but was instead met by sharp teeth. The Machamp flung his arm around wildly to shake off Alex,Alex came crashing to the ground seconds later. He stood up and looked around, also seeing his comrades engaged in the battle against the Machoke. Alex backed up so that he could use a take-down attack. He charged the Machamp's leg and was hit with a hard kick. So that is his low kick, huh?Alex again crashed to the ground. These Physical attacks don't seem to be working... I need a plan Alex jumped to the side as a karate chop came down to the ground. Now is my chance! Alex used his agility moved and raced up the Machamp's arm, when he reached his shoulder he lost his footing, crashing to the ground once more. The Machamp isn't as big as i think i have to keep that in mind.. Alex was definetly loosing the fight as of now. Why did I even choose this Machamp? It must of just been on impulse. Alex moved back, still keeping his eye on the Machamp "Time for another take-down" he mumbled to himself.

Alex looked down and then back up at his target, who was already using another low-kick. Alex countered it with a take-down, on the foot still on the ground. In turn the Machamp lost his footing and fell backwards. The Machamp looked as angry as ever. He decided to take his advantage. Alex used ember on top of the foe's head. He heard the Machamp grunt. Is this a sign of me taking the lead? Even if it wasn't Alex took it that way. The Machamp finally regained it self and slapped out the ember.

"You are a foolish little Growlithe, you should've stayed back and kept your nose out of our buisness..." The pokemon said in an annoyed voice, "but now you don't have the option of backing out" the Machamp grunted while sending a Dynamic Punch towards the Growlithe, who in turn staggered around in a daze.

"I don't think I should have stayed back, it is the annoying, arrogant punks like you that really tick me off" Alex growled back, while using a flame wheel.

"That is a bold statement, noble too especially for such a tiny little pokemon, but nobility will get you now where when helping a banished pokemon" retorted the Machamp. He side-stepped out of the way barley getting singed by the fiery attack. "Ha Ha Ha Ha, you are weak" the Machamp ventured to say.

Alex charged towards the Machamp who tried to swat him away again, but again met Alex's fangs.

"You should know, the same attack never works on me" the Machamp said with a sense of pride. He clamped his other hand on the dog-like pokemon. He swung him around and tossed him to the ground. "That is a taste of my seismic toss.."

Alex was almost out of the fight against this rather powerful pokemon. zzz"Oh yeah?" Alex taunted, "Well then here have a taste of my flame wheel, it is only fair since you let me taste you toss.." Alex began to shoot out an flame wheel and the Machamp opened up his mouth to speak again.

"Ha Ha Ha I hate pokemon like-" he was cut off by the flame of the wheel entering his mouth. He let out a bit of a yelp before he ran off to go find water to cool his mouth.

"Well, I hope i don't see you around here for a while.." Alex said to the fleeing Machamp. He laid down he was a bit exhausted, but couldn't sleep in case anyone needed him. So he just laid there waiting for someone to ask for help, or signal to move on.

I think it is because it is only one left. I ,however, wanted Bufflow from the begging. I based my character off of him two. It is a a Buffalo and Lions eat things like them. Plus, Bufflow seems super duper cool. He is cute, and so is Tenderloin, but with the whole surfing thing and Bufflow being a water pokémon it goes good.

I think the reason that no one else has applied for Tinderloin is because .Sublime is a pretty good Roleplayer. I changed the age of my character, and I have a better Roleplay sample if needed.

Well I've never seen .Sublime roleplay. But if other people still tried out I would give everyone an equal chance.
