[Script] Pokemon Ruby Female Character Not Following Script After Leaving Truck

    Hi,
I have just picked up romhacking as a hobby and have encountered a problem in Pokemon Ruby.
I edited the Littleroot Town map and therefore had to change the player spawns once they leave the truck.
The male character goes through the sequence with Mom after warping out of the truck without any problems.
The female character warps out of the truck and then gets stuck and no sequence plays.

I changed the warps at offset 15FC49 which is a script event in the truck and also toggled on flag 0x112 (running shoes) in the littleroot town level script at offset 14D60F. I also removed the event where Mom stops you to give you the running shoes.

I have compared my romhack scripts and maps to the original game and can't find any differences apart from what I've noted that I have changed.

I'm happy to provide more information.

If anyone knows how to fix this it would be very appreciated. I'm using XSE and Advance Map.

Also I've tried all the intro manager stuff and they all glitched/bugged the rom very badly.

    Thanks :)

Have you tried deleting that town level script and seeing what happens? Depending on what you're doing, you may want to get rid of it. I've had all sorts of issues with it being active like Town & Route names not showing up and stuff.

Of course if you do get rid of it, that will cause issues with the preexisting scripts in Ruby.

No I haven't. I'm trying to keep as much of the original game in tact as possible and only change a couple things so that I can understand the mechanics of romhacking.

edit: Although after playing around with other things and even restarting and encountering more problems perhaps it's a better idea to hack firered. Thanks for trying to help though.
