OK I had previously created a thread about this game and discountinued it (original thread https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=55257 ).. I dont wanna remake a thread unless I have made alot of progress, but I have tweaked the game a bit and appreaciate comments.
Old Stuff- You are Gold living in the region of Johto, Prof. Elm requests you to visit Mr.PKMN on an urgent matter, he gives you a Pokemon for protection. After meeting Mr.PKMN, and getting a PokeDex from Prof. Oak you get a message from Prof. Elm concerning a stolen Pokemon. You rush home, on the way you encounter a boy that has that same stolen Pokemon. When you explain the situation to Prof. Elm he suggests to take the Pokemon league challenge.
New Stuff- A new Pokemon has been disocvered, Yaruki. Unfortunetly this Pokemon is infected with a devasting virus, that force evolves Pokemon making them stronger but slowly drains their life away until they are too weak to carry on. Deep within the depths of Johto a new orginization is uprising. This new orginization named Team Evolution is a group bent on preventing the spreading of this new virus, for the good of the Pokemon. Unfortunetly some members of Team Evolution disapprove of the organizations objectives and beliefs and desert the orginization to form New Team Evolution. Driven by thier power hungry leader Kite, they take advantage of the virus's temperary positive effects. Using these Pokemon for greed, New Team Evoution decides to mass spread the virus to further strengthen thier Pokemon Army. Team Evolution deserts their determantion to find a cure for the virus, and with the help of Gold they try their best to prevent New Team Evolution from making the situation even worse.. Meanwhile... back in Kanto, Red has his hands full with team Rocket, who has joined forces with New Team Evolution to further expand their activitys.... Red needs to face them alone, since Team Evolution isnt established in Kanto....(Thats all ill say for now, you'll be able to play as both Red and Gold)
Team Evolution and New Team Evolution replace Team Rocket in Johto but Team Rocket is still in Kanto.( I thought it was a perfect swap out since in Johto they too tried to used corrupt Pokemon (like Red Gyarados))
Other stuff like mini games and small tournys in towns will occur. Questions/Comments/Suggestions are greatly appreaciated, in fact there MANDATORY!!! =P
