    I'm thinking of buying Pokemon Season 1 but do you think it's worth it?
     
    Of course! well if your a fan it is... Personally The first season is my favorite and really the only ones worth watching anymore. Orange season is okay too, but from Johto on... it kinda lost it's edge. XD

    but yeah for sure if you buy any season, the first one is totally worth getting.
     
    the first season.... the best! and gary's fan club... lolz...... if you would get one, get the first season! then the second season. the rest are not that good.... T.T
     
    yeah, the first and second seasons are the only ones that are worth your time, I would'nt even bother with all the others....
     
    The current Price plus tax is about $40. I'm having second thoughts about it but I really want it, and plus I could do some episode guides for my site. Anyway, any other Pokemon DVDs I should buy when I get the money?

    I already have Pokemon Heroes.

    yeah i say buy it. it sounds like a pretty good deal, and you won't be dissapointed. ummm my fav movies are... the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th... i didn't care for the other's too much but i haven't seen the new 8th one yet.

    but yeah, Pokemon has changed from the beggining and the beggining one's are more fresh and new... later on in the series the ideas jsut get old and repetitive... but everyone has thier own opinions... so sorry if you don't like it if you buy it! but the first season definitely beats all the rest!

    the christmas specials are good too!
     
    I think the only bad point I have about season one would be their gym battles.. there were too little battles and too many a times, it was more of the gym leader giving the badges to Ash.

    But other than that, go buy the video!! It's definitely worth it if you're a true fan!! Nothing's better than collecting the series for a fan!! =D
     
    The only problem is that most parts of Season 2 - Orange Island - is sold out.

    LOL. I really hate downloading anime. I just like keeping the actual product.
     
    I'd say buy it, as long as people keep buying them we'll get more season sets. And for an anime like Pokemon, that's really a lot better than single DVDs.
     
    I'm prob. gonna buy it today and Get it shipped b4 me bday.

    I hope VIz or whatever company makes these DVD releases a new boxset of Orange Islands or else I wouldn't be able to get it. As it's all sold out.

    I just ordered it. I'll get it around the 27-28 of November.

    I was wondering what u guys think about this. Should I buy the new Pokemon Movie, or should I buy from the beginning (The First Movie)?

    Yeah, It's possible. Check the UK version of Amazon. They have a neat pack. I think it's called a wallet. Anyway, I know that the UK has Season 1/2 for sure.
     
    Amazon says it is dubbed and subtitled! Plus it has all the banned episodes!! I hope that's true, I'd buy it as a Christmas gift for me.
