The beta version is always the latest one when compared with alpha versions generally. Also there is always the release date mentioned with them too

Alpha is always just demo. Alpha is (or should be) only one while there's usually more than one beta.
According to Greek alphabet, alpha precedes beta and that's why beta is always the newest version.

I'm playing the hack and i'm at Ouija tower but can't progress, is this where the game stops until a newer version comes out or what because i really liked playing so far :)

not sure if you already know this but when you go into emerald town pokemon center i think thats the name you can't get back out even walkthrough walls doesn't help just thought i would let you know
