Pokemon Snap 2 for the Wii speculation....

    I have thought of a Pokemon Snap 2 in my mind and I want your opinions on it..

    I really think they should make a pokemon snap 2 for the wii. It could take awhile for all or alot of the 493 pokemon but with better graphics, more evolution methods, more locations and more camera settings including zoom,tints,balance,flash(for caves,ect) and more.

    They could also make those wacky wii gadgets for specifics games (wii wheel, guitar, drums, mic, tennis racket, bat, ect) except make it a camera.

    You can earn money for certain pictures and use those to buy things like

    -berries to make pokemon come out of hiding(certain types of berries for certain pokemon)
    -stones like water, thunder,fire,leaf,dawn,dusk,shiny,ect for certain pokemon to evolve
    -pokeball to capture a pokemon to take specific pictures in a studio or to use on the way to interact with other pokemon or to unlock hidden areas(suppose a sharpedo to break open some barrier during riding in a river) or to battle certain pokemon for its evolution
    -taunt balls(or whatever you would call them) like in the first pokemon snap to annoy pokemon to show up or to knock pokemon for picture taking results
    -special evolutions items razor fang,metal coat,ect for obivous uses
    -more options for the camera
    -special items to trigger pokemon coming out like fishing rod,pokeflute,honey

    Locations can be extended to places like a abandoned power plant, great marsh, safari,deep sea, Mt Coronet

    Tell me what you think of this speculation...what can and can't work and feel free to add your own elements to this speculation
     
    I never did get around to playing the original Pokemon Snap, may buy that for my N64 sometime (strangley despite its age it's one of my newest consoles, the only newer one is my PS3 ^^; ) but I do think it could have potential on the Wii, though as you mentioned I can definatley see them making a shell for the Wiimote in the form of a camera, whether it would be good or not is another story as it sounds a bit gimmicky like the Wii Wheel was (that thing was good but you get my point)

    I would like it if you could play in each reigon though, Kanto, Johto, Hoen and Sinnoh.
     
    playing in each region would be too big......

    A wii camera shell is not what im talking about but a seperate componet (like the classic controler) that can be used as a wii remote in a camera form. This can have all the wii remote buttons but be used in a way to make shots more accurate and have easy access to snap button, winding gear, zom buttons ect
     
    There was sumthing on serebii about that bt it was never fallowed
     
    AHH! Pokemon Snap was the best game EVER! I'd do anything for them to make a new one.
     
    Pokemon snap 2 would be nice, but it's one of those games they only make one of. And at the moment they are very busy makeing new ds games.


    But over all pokemon snap 2 would be great over all so I hope they ame it.
     
    I had an idea for this concept which I posted in another thread which was;
    Using the WiiMote pointer as the camera lens enabling the user have a more realistic control over the "camera".
    There should be zoom features and light setting to help give the pictures some form of uniqueness.
     
    Pokemon Snap 2 would be wonderful, and it would be great if they included all 493 Pokemon...

    However, I find that highly unlikely, since even the first game didn't have all 150 in it.

    I like Leon K. Fox's idea for a camera shell for the Wiimote, though. That sounds pretty awesome.
     
    It would be incredible.
    I really hope they do this...
    and make a super game with all four regions for the wii.
    (but make it top-down like the handheld's)
     
    #2 would be awesome.
    I wonder if they change the way to take a picture or maybe they will let us edit a picture.
    All 493 pokemon would be in it. They could make a Wii Camera. Like the Wii Tennis racket and etc...
    You can push down on a button on the camera and it takes a picture and it will give you a zoom in/out before/after you take a pic.
     
    Pokemon Snap was probably my most favorite Pokemon game outside of the whole capture and battle style of gaming. A more mobile camera such as an underwater periscope or a land rover camera would be a neat addition to the game. Being limited to only the cart can get rather annoying. Also, using the Wii Remote sideways and looking in different directions with the 1 or 2 button as the snapshot button would be neat.
