So, basically, this event would pertain to the WiiWare version of Pokémon Snap. I'm thinking of two different events. I'll explain it in more details.

    Schedule
    Day 1: "Scene" Event
    Day 2: Storytelling Event
    Day 3: Judging Period
    Day 4: Winner announced/awards given

    Overview of Events
Photography Event - This is the regular, basic plain old event. Just snap your best picture. However, instead of using Professor Oak's scoring system as the main scoring system, I could somehow incorporate the PC members and let them vote on the event also. Members can only submit 1 picture. Maybe the formula for the score could be:

Storytelling Event - This would be more involved than the Photography Event. I would like for members to give send me their pictures but somehow incorporate their pictures into a story. For this event, we would disregard Oak's scoring system all together. I would let PC member judge on which is the best story.

    How to Submit Photos/Stories
Basically, Pokémon Snap WiiWare version has a feature where you can send your pictures to your Wii Message Board. I think from there you can send it to another Wii. I'll have to check on the exact procedure of doing so, but I know for sure that it's possible.

    Prizes
I'd like to give an Emblem to whoever wins the contest for both categories. Like, a separate Emblem for each one. I'm thinking a Photographer's Award or something for whoever wins the Photography contest and a "Journalist's Award" for whoever wins the Storytelling event. I may make some for second place. Ideas for emblems?

    Emblems
Emblems that I've come up with so far.

    Say Cheese! - <enter clever phrase here>
This emblem will be awarded to whoever gets first place in the photography contest. I don't really like the background though.

So that's about it. I would love feedback on what I could do to make the event better.

P.S. I would love some help. I want to have the little navigational bar thing. I may not need it though, depending on how big my OP is. Also, want to do a banner. Some advice on that is great too. Thanks again!

Welcome to the Pokemon Snap Photography Contest!!!

    What Is This?
The Pokemon Snap Photography Contest is just what it sounds like. Here, you will have the change to show off your camera skills by sending me your best picture. Winners will receive an emblem to show the whole world (or at least, the whole forum) their accomplishments. Sound good? Then, let's get started.

    What Can I Do?
This event will consist of two contests: the photography contest and a storytelling contest.

    Photography Contest
The Photography Contest consists of you taking your very best picture and having it judged by your fellow PC'ers.

    Storytelling Contest
So, you tried the Photography Contest, but now, you want something more to do. Well, this contest is just for you! Here, you will do more than just taking a photo; you have to take a series of photos and create a story for it! Feel free to edit the photos as you please. Add speech bubbles, props, whatever you want! Just make a story that we all will enjoy!

    Any Rules To Follow?
Of course! A few ground rules that you should be sure to follow:

    • You may participate in one contest, or even both contests; however, you will only win in one.
    • Please keep everything appropriate. Nothing over PG-13, please.
    • Follow the PokeCommunity Rules and Guidelines. If you know its not allowed, then don't do it here.
    • All entries must be submitted by the date specified. No late entries!
    • Otherwise, have fun. We look forward to your entries.

    How Can I Enter?

Well, that part's easy. There are two ways that you can enter:

    1. Send the picture to me using the Wii Message Board. I will take care of things from there and upload it to the forums. For obvious reasons, this won't work for the Storytelling Contest. Instructions for this method can be found here
    2. If you are uncomfortable giving out your Wii Friend Code, or you are participating in the Storytelling Contest, then you should use this method. Open up Pokemon Snap. Then, go to Gallery > Enlarge > and Press L. From there, take a picture with a camera.
*Nintendo doesn't allow copies to SD card. If you know a better way, please let me know.

    What's In It For Me?
Well, the joy of having fun with your fellow PC members, of course. However, if that's not enough, then there's more. Each member who participates will get this nifty little emblem.

The winner of the Photography Contest will receive this emblem.

Hmm, you could combine the oak scoring system with PC judges to judge the first event - makes sense to me (as long as you can get the people), and I like the idea of the storytelling event. Looks alright so far. =) (As does the banner).

Well, the pictures don't really have the score on them, so I have no way of knowing if participants are telling the truth about their scores.

Also, I'm having trouble with getting photos to an SD card because Nintendo doesn't allow it. (which sucks because every other game they make does allow it. I guess I could trust members to be truthful about the score they recieved.

@Negative-Zero: that looks awesome man! You really came through for me. Thanks!

EDIT: Would you guys like to be judges? I am going to post in the official thread that we want judges also.
