Everyone remembers pokemon snap. This was imo the best non handheld adventure pokemon game out there. one problem; epically short. When you figured out everything to do, it was beatable in a few hours (yes, i have). I think they should make a pokemon snap 2 for wii; it would be awesome. My idea for it was 1; much more levels, secrets, and pokemon. especially with only one season to work with, pokemon snap was extremely short. 2; hold the wii remote so the face is facing the ground, so the z button can work as a flash button, and you would move it around as the wii remote should. 3; more than one special room like rainbow cloud, which shouldnt be hard with how many legendarys.
    Any thoughts?

I think they are making one for the wii. I am pretty sure that it has similar levels and Pokemon, though. Check Bulbapedia.

Unless i overlooked it, it seemed to be just talking about the port on the virtual console. Which is still kinda cool, cause you can save pictures to the message board.

It'll be for DS, the same happened to SuperNES games for GBA, now it's with N64 and NDS. I hope this version includes other generation pokémon, or maybe be the first of a new series.

They ported the original game to Virtual Console, but they didn't really add anything aside from the ability to send pictures to friends. I'd love for a new game, though. I've yet to meet anyone who didn't like that game so I know it would be a hit. Both the DS and the Wii are great candidates for it--I don't care which console would get it, I'd just love another Snap game. D:

Yeah. It would be even better if ported to both, but it all depends on the game length. Each one would have unique controls, so i would be good for two different systems, but if they were to make the game long, chances are wii would be the first choice.
It would also be nice to see more items; or even a shop of some sort. So lets say you were to buy a thunder stone, you could throw it at a pikachu and get raichu. And to get money, you can sell your pictures to a merchant, and can be sold for a price on its quality; like oaks rating sytstem.

Yes, yes! I don't mind if they keep the linear way of going through the courses, since it added a level of strategy (you had to look in exactly the right place at the right time or you miss it), but extra items would be great, just for variety.

I think overall I'd probably prefer a Wii version. The DS is great, but its screens are just too small. I like my 3D Pokémon bigger. Plus, as you said, it would cater to a longer game. I really want a new game with a ton more courses, perhaps more routes to take on each course (while still staying in the vehicle) and just... a game longer than 3 hours, please! I beat Snap far too quickly whenever I play it. :( Something that will take me longer than a day at best would be so awesome.

If there ever was a remake, it'd probably be on the Wii. I beat they'd make a special controller too if there ever was a remake.

A special controller? Sounds kind of gimmicky, but hey, I'd still play it.

I really wish they'd come out with this. :(

Its not like writing in this stuff usually does anything, which is kinda disappointing. Honestly, i think fans sometimes come up with better ideas than the companies.

As for a controller, i can see them making a case like the wii wheel. Would be kinda gimmicky, but i think it would make the game more playable. As for how hte controls would work otherwise...i think you would move around with the d-pad, but when ready to take a pic, you would hold the wii remote closer to the screen and aim for the pic. It will make the photography factor of it a bit more real.

Yeah I downloaded Pokemon Snap on my Wii and I beat it in 2 hours or maybe 3... I hope they do make a 2nd one, because it would be perfect for the Wii. :)

YEEEAH! pokemon snap was amazinngg!! it was one of my first games for n64. :0 buut yeah, it was definitely too easy to beat. well, my cousin helped me beat the whole thing, so it kinda took some of the fun out of it. D:
they really need to make a new pokemon snap for wii.. i think i'd be super excited if they did. especially if the controller was a camera. that would be amazinnggg!!!

One thing i would hope to see, as said in the first post, is another/more rainbow cloud (the coolest place in any pokemon game ever) type place, but with more legendarys and different challenges. Like, maybe a huge underwater cavern, with kyorgre swimming around, and because its so deep, the challenge would be to see it through the dark. come to think of it, that would be pretty creepy XD. I dont know how you could get to them though. maybe pokemon signs, but in different ways. like maybe unknown letters are seen etched into places when you do something special for dyoxis or something. And latios, latias, and the legendary dogs would be seen anywhere, but rare and random.
    ...Brainstorming is fun...

I could definitely see a wii version.

I don't even think a new controller would be needed, I think the wiimote would work great. Like moving around and just pressing A. Now that I think about it, it sounds even more fun than the original!
