EVERY series needs a megalomaniac, and this one happens to have a -flawed- good cause. He is also attractive in the eyes of fangirls.
And, Lance, fangirls know your weaknesses because A) We're stalkers, and B) We make them up and apply them to you while canon purists scream. *Nonchalantly sips lemonade*
